I have been prescribed to suboxone for 3 years and I haven't taken it in 2 days. I don't regularly use opiates but I have taken 30 mg. of hydrocodone in the past 12 hours. When will it be safe for me to take my suboxone again? ## Hi Wade, This estimate may be different for everyone, but I've read other comments here suggesting that one should wait a minimum of 12-24 hours after taking opiates before going back on suboxone. The time frame seems to vary though, whereas other individuals mentioned waiting only 8 hours and didn't denote any regrets from doing so. Having said that, I get the impression you'd be just fine waiting it out for a day. I am on the suboxone program and I get Urine tests every week. Everyday execpt sundays i get a carry, I go to the pharmacy to take the pill I have to take it there , but I'm not strongly supervised. Last week I used other substances , so I got some clean pee , but I forgot that my doctor would testing if the suboxone was in my system. Is it possible that there is anything that I could say I took that would make it not show up in my system? Or even anything I could say that wouldn't her think I used someone else's pee? I don't even care to stay on the suboxone I am not addicted I can go days without taking it and I'm not addicted or using opitates. Does anyone no what pill is better or are they the same? Today my pharmacy gave me the orange 54-375 but i was taking a white pill with 155 on it the orange one is a little smaller. And just dont seem like it would work as good i think Roxanne is the maker can any one help me? I am on 8 mg og Suboxone a day. I take it at 6am. I know it should last atleast 24 hrs, but it seems as if I go to sleep during the day, I wake up sick. Is this possible, that when I'm sleeping my body burns off the suboxone quicker? ## No, that doesn't make any sense. When you are asleep, your metabolism actually slows down, so if anything, it should take longer to process a medication. Have you spoken to your doctor about this problem? It is highly possible that the current 8mg dosage you are on isn't enough for you. Another problem that may cause you to wake up sick, has to do with the same slowing of your metabolism when you sleep. My brother has been suffering from paranoia and delusions for about six months. He has has been a heavy drinker for several years now. And he also had an addiction of some kind which compelled him to go to a suboxone clinic to manage his life with the hopes of tapering off. Unfortunately, he never tapered off and seemed to use his strips several days if not more than a week before his next prescription. I'm not sure what happened, but eventually he started talking about people bugging his apartment, car, phone, etcetera. Can I pass a ETG after being sober 30 hours? ## Can I pass an etg after 32 hours? ## The ETG just tests for alcohol, right? If that's the case then 30+ hours should be enough time (if i'm not mistaken). I think alcohol is flushed from the system pretty fast, about 5 1/2 hours for a BAC of .08 Hope this helps - let me know how it went for you! ## ETG tests for alcohol are testing for an enzyme in your urine as a result of alcohol consumtion. it really has nothing to do with your BAC %. the enzyme will remain detectable in your urine for aprox. 83 hours. time and dilution are your only hope. I just moved to St Augustine, Florida and I am looking for a new pain management physician. I have been taking methadone for pain for about a year. After trying several other medications to treat RA and back issues, the methadone actually managed my pain well and I need to find a new pain management doctor who prescribes methadone for pain. I would be willing to travel to Jacksonville or surrounding areas. Any help is appreciated! ## No one can tell you what a new doctor will and won't prescribe. You need to call your insurance company and ask for a list of Pain Management Doctors in your area that take your insurance. Some pain management doctors also want you to be seeing a pcp. Chances are good you will need copies of your medical records from your previous doctors.

I am currently on Suboxone. Last month I went to the doctor and thought she would urine test me. So I got someone with clean urine to take a Suboxone and I was going to use theirs. However she didn’t test me. So I put the urine in the fridge. Now I go back later this week (a month later from obtaining urine). Will the Suboxone still show up in the urine that I saved in the fridge from a month ago? ## URGENT!!! I have taken the same dose of suboxone for 3 years. 8th once a day. A swab test was sent to a lab one day and the level of buprenorphine was 2804 ng/ml. The next day the level was 375ng/ml... how can this be possible? ## Curious about cnc in suboxone blood work in my blood work that I had done.

I need to send a urine off to a lab, it came up clean on a test stick. Will it come back with same result, when looking for same thing? So I'm 30 years old. I have been taking various pain medications in very large doses for 15 years. I once ate 42 10/set hydro in one day. I was not worried about overdose on hydro, just acetaminophen. So I have a brain full of opiate receptors. From what I have read the longer and larger your tolerance well what happens is your brain builds more opiate receptors. So this is how high my tolerance is. I can take 36mg of Suboxone and the next morning at about noon take a couple hundred mg of morphine and feel full effects. So even though buprenorphine is so many times different in potency to morphine, the fact that it does not activate receptors but partially must play a major role in how Suboxone works with super highly tolerant patients. It is a partial agonist/antagonist, with a mean half-life of 37 hours so Buprenorphine HCl/Buprenorphine HCl + Naloxone HCl Dihydrate) OR (Subutex®/Suboxone®) is actually difficult in showing up on standard drug tests. It will stay in your system over a week, easy. I've never even been tested or even arrested, (just sayin'), and its active metabolite is NORBUPRENORPHINE. I took about 1/5th of a suboxone approximately 2 hours before a urine screen. REALLY worried about the result. I didn't know that the test was being done or I wouldn't have taken it. I am prescribed percocet 30's and xanax 1 mg, so I have a prescription for those; just took the suboxone to NOT go into withdrawal as im out of perc's till my next visit. Can anyone help me wit the question of is methadone sugarfree. Im on methadone (45mls pinadone) now obviously yo-yoed r the years but the one problem iv found is my teeth are wrecked since being on it. My doctor in the clinic says its sugarfree that's why they use pinadone solution but any dentist iv been to hav said it wrecks teeth. If you're taking suboxone can you take a oxy for pain? Will it make you sick or not? ## Dear mjp it is not a good thing 2 take Oxy with subs. You could get very sick or it could be worse. Besides, suboxone blocks out the effects of Oxy. So, u wouldn't feel the Oxy. Mixing them is a no no. U must also b in withdrawals b 4 u can take the subs. ## No No!!! Why would you?
