I'm a Journalism student from Western University writing a story about take-home Naloxone programs. Wondering if anyone here has used a Naloxone kit and what your experience was like? ## I am 35 years old and I am percribed 90 10mg oxycodone. I've been on and off of pain meds since I was 16. I was having a lot of back issues since the birth of my oldest 3 children so at that time a friend referred me to a pain clinic in the great state of FLA during the "pill mill" epidemic. My Dr. here in MD agrees with me in saying that I was totally mismanaged being perscribed in 2008 thru 2010 with 30mg oxycodone / 240 a month as well as 90 2mg of xanax. I'm not sure how many are aware of all the new changes Medicaid has and continues to change against suboxone, not good! At one time medicaid paid for suboxone with PA without all the restrictions. After adding many restrictions causing many doctors to stop doing PA meaning you paid our of pocket for your meds even though you have 100% medicaid. Then as of April 1st 2017 the ARTS Program started that claimed anyone who had medicaid shouldn't be paying out of pocket for their meds. Also they claimed there would be many doctors taking medicaid for the office visit,well that was a lie and the few who do really put you through the ringer. I was told I would receive reimbursement from my insurance for the off call and meds by filing a appeal under the ARTS program and send all receipt...

Sammy I have had a sore mouth for up to 1 year and I have been doctors and dentist all they gave was mouth wash my throat feels like it's closing up I had a biopsy in my mouth wait for results but I'm in agony canthe eat and sleepilepsy good when I brush my teeth it brings me to tears as mouth and lipsee sting so long much ## That is very unusual. I am so sorry about what you're going through, Sammy. Have you gotten the biopsy results back, yet? Do you take any medications regularly? The NIH lists this as being a possible side effect of some medications, such as Suboxone sublingual tablets, Tums, as well as some medication conditions, such as oral herpes. Do you have any allergies that you are aware of?

I take suboxone but I also smoke pot. I have a friend who takes suboxone and thats it. I always use his piss for my drug test. I take what I need and put the rest in the freezer. Does anyone know how long the samples in my freezer will stay good. Dude left me hangin this month and I am hoping I can use them. They have been in my freezer atleast 6-8 months. Please help. I got my suboxone prescription refilled last night and they are the an 415 but the a is looks like this ^ not like this A but everything else is the same. Are there new ones being manufactured or is this not legitimate? ## I got the same thing last night and I'm wondering the same thing. It tastes the same and everything. ## It could just be an error in the printing struck into the tablets. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. How are they working for you? I am in need of help finding a cash doctor/psychiatrist who will prescribe subutex? If you know of a doctor please let me know. I'm on the butrans 20 mg patch and had been taking cephalexin and clindamycin for an abscessed tooth for over 2 weeks. My urine screening came back showing that I had no methylphenidate or suboxone in my urine. I've been consistent on keeping my patch on for 7 days and changing when due. I take 60 mg of methylphenidate daily and I've never failed in 3 years. Could these antibiotics be the reason why?

I took about 1/4 of a suboxone 8mg film at about 8:30 this morning. Of I take a 30mg roxy at 10:30 tonight, will I feel it or will it be a waisted. ## Yes, it will. My assumption is that these figures are probably based on how often you take suboxone and how much you typically take when you do take it. My husband has a dilaudid Medtronic pain pump and he is also taking methadone for breakthrough. We have run into this problem, the dr has stopped treating him because the va hospital was not paying him anymore. we were using his dr as an outside provider due to the va hospital not having a dr. educated to help my husband. well the dr has not been paid and the dr stopped treatment all the way. we have outside insurance and we have gone to see other pain management dr. to fill his pump by the 27th of may 2015, and as of today he has not had it filled june 3, 2015, the va has admitted him into detox and has taken all of his medication away my husband has been on pain medicine since 2000. this was not the plan he was suppose to be weaned and they have taken all of his civil rights from his ...

Can any of the women out there tell me if taking methadone stopped thier periods? I have been on methadone for 4 years now and as soon as I went over 35mg it completely stopped and It has not come back since. I am on 60mg now. I did get lowered to 30 mg at one time years ago and it started right up again. Does anyone know if this might be dangerous? I have asked my doctor at the meth clinic and she stated its nothing to be concerned about because I wanted to know if I should be taking something to make it start and she said no, but for some reason it seems that it just does not sound good for a natural process to stop like that and not have it do any harm. mom of three and been an addict for 20years. did not use while pregnant but now I have lost control of everything. I have no extra money. I get my morphine and oxy free from my job. I was on Suboxone for a little over a year. I quit about a month ago. I may have to take a urine test for the courts. Will it show up? Should I mention it prior? ## Like most other narcotics, the Buprenorphine in Suboxone is detectable for approximately 4 days, after taking it. I've taken amoxicillin 875mg twice a day for 21 days. I started out with a bad sinus infection and ear infection. I'm still running a low-grade fever, blowing thick yellow junk out of my nose & coughing up brown junk when i first get up. My best friend & boyfriend of 20+ yrs takes suboxone. He's been on it for over 6 yrs. He has gone thru bouts with alcoholism and prescription drug abuse, thus the suboxone use now. Today I was cleaning and found an empty Johnny Walker bottle under the sink in his bathroom. It was a pretty depressing find but caused me to pause and rethink some of his behavior lately which has been more erratic, angry & he spends a lot of time downstairs by himself instead of hanging w/ me watching a movie at night like we've always done. Was taking suboxone films and got switched to pills. Now I'm getting sick throwing up. I need a dr that can prescribe methadone to me I've been on it for 12 yrs and I can't afford to go to the clinic everyday that 45 miles away I would like to get it monthly to save money I have a lot of health problems and this medicine is the only one that will help me please help me ## I'm sorry, but if you've been going to an addiction treatment clinic, then that is your only option to be able to continue with Methadone. I take a 1/2 to 1- 8MG strip daily. I have now been prescribed klonopin 1mg at bedtime and will possibly be going up to 2MG in a month or two. I know there are a lot of mixed feelings on benzos and subs but I've been on subs for a pretty good while now and have been diagnosed with lots of health issues recently including epilepsy. I just cannot sleep and the lack of sleep really affects my seizures so the klonopin really is our last resort. We've tried 4 other meds including neurontin (I'm not sure how u spell that lol).
