I would like to know if norcos and methadone both show up as barbiturates or opiates basically in the same category in a hair follicle test? ## They will show up as opiates. ## Methadone is in its own category on a 12 panel test. It will not show up as an opiate i have first hand experience. .i don't know about norcos though. .i think they will show up as an opiate..Neither will show up as a barbiturate. ## IMHO the doctors are making excuses/lies to drop their compliant patients, I have received this treatment also. I am an opiate addict. I have abused prescription painkillers for over 20 years. (Now up to 65-70 per day) I also am a heroin addict. (Now up to 7 bags a day) I insufflate and take my pills by mouth, and I abuse heroin. I'm next in line to be put on a Methadone Maintenance Treatment Program at a place where there are 200 people on the waiting list. I also take Klonopin 1 mg 3 x daily as needed for anxiety and panic attacks. I have severe anxiety, and the panic attacks are so bad sometimes, that I cannot breathe and I feel like I am going to die. I am so afraid that the Methadone Clinic is not going to allow me to stay on my Klonopin, so I wanted to get some advice on it. Is anyone currently on Methadone and Klonopin together? I was taking 90 mg of methadone daily. I switched back to Roxicodone. wats the ratio of methadone to roxy? I use it for cronic pain. Been on Methadone for many years via a pain clinic. I am 66. I take 50 mg. daily. and was stable and reasonably pain free until this year. I fell and broke 5 ribs on two different occasions and a slight fractured hip and torn muscles on a third fall. These falls happened while training protection dogs.For about 8-9 months I was taking about 60 mgs. of oxycodone on top of the methadone with no effect on pain - ouch!. Now, the pain is gone from the falls but I am in withdrawal and feel very sick - I think. Intersted in enlisting in the marines and withdrawing from heroin with suboxone. This is so sad. If medications were legal for responsible adults, we would not have this problem. This problem lies with the fact that many people sell their medication or abuse it. Be honest with your physician and you will be amazed at the help you will get. BTW, methadone will kill you. If you aren't ready to detox, go to someone that prescribes Suboxone. It will not cost you anymore than methadone will. You will get a monthly supply. Just reading these posts breaks my heart. It is obvious that many of you are drug addicts. My friend took a subutex at 6:30 this morning after not touching opioids since 5pm the night before. She had only been taking a small amount recently (so I'm told) but for a long period of time. After an hour she began to get the chills and sweats but nothing else like that full blown WD that is completely unbearable. Anyway worried about working in a few hours she had relapsed about an hour after the Tex.. I told her if the first one didn't help to wait an hour and take another; obviously she didn't listen so now what? Do we let the opioids run through their course then give her another Tex? Hey, how the heck do you find out the results of your random drug test at methadone clinics? I gave them my sample on monday morning (June 20) and it is now June 24th and I have heard nothing. There is no way it is positive unless there is a false positive because of ibuprofen. I take 800 mg of OTC ibuprofen almost everyday for my aches and pains. The reason why I am anxious is because this is my first random after admission and yesterday I found out that I have a 10 am appointment with my counselor that I never scheduled! My next appointment should be July 5th which is still there. Omg. This week I would of done anything for pills. Lost my job, boyfriend cheated, kid with suicide attempt, found out I have cancer. I have been taking suboxone for almost a year and had to move to a new doc. They drug tested me and said I tested positive for benzos. The funny thing is I have not taken ANY benzos. I have to go take another test today at 5 and I am scared s**tless cuz they said if benzos are still in my system then they can not see me. Knowing that I haven't taken any benzos makes me wonder if I might still test positive for it again. I did take some cough syrup and some percs but that is it.
