My husband is an addict of quidict.....he starting take this medicine for drug treatment.....He stopped taking the drug but he is now an addict of quidict... ## Quidict is a very good med for drug addiction problem. U can't overdose it. U can easily taper off it without any prob. I'm pretty much sure that if he stops taking it. Then he will start taking the drug. Under medical supervision it is a Super medicine. Well, I have been on subutex and suboxone for about 4 months. I just found out im 2 1/2 months pregnant. This is my 2nd child and with the first I got on subutex, but it was through a detox center. I have been going to a methadone clinic for 5 years. I WAS on a code 1 (going in 1 day a week and pick up 6 bottles) until the clinic switched lab companies. They approached me to tell me my drop came back dirty for codeine. When I looked at the levels it says 350 nanograms. They set the level at 50 nanograms. I thought 2,000 was the cutoff level. I told them I was clean and I ate Portillos hot dogs that have poppy seeds in them. They told me to stop lying and I will be returning to a code 6 (go in every day except Sunday?) So, my question is, don't they have to honor the federal guidelines that I thought were 2,000 nanograms?

I am a suboxone patient, took a drug test (probably the cheap dip stick kind) and it came back positive for methadone. I haven't taken methadone for about 4 months and every drug test since then has been clean. The only things ive taken were benadryl and my subs. What can cause a false positive for methadone, and if so when they sent the remainder of my urine to the lab, it should find that i haven't taken any right? plz help. ## It might have been caused by the Buprenorphine in the Suboxone itself. Before I fully switched to Suboxone and I ran out of my other meds, I'd be able to take a half of an 8mg Suboxone. I was told to put it in my mouth with a some water and swish it around in my mouth till it dissolved. Then to swallow, and swish even more water in my mouth and swallow again. That worked to make it take effect. Now that I'm seeing a new doctor, I was told to let it dissolve under my tongue with no water. As a result, I've had to go up in dosage to get the same therapeutic effect. Is it possible to get use to your dose SO fast that you need to be upped from 8mgs to 14mgs? I was in a methadone treatment center. I was being lowered off methadone and I thought I was doing good, but I was sick and going through withdraws and I got methadone off the street and now I am sick if I do not have it. I've been going to the hell clinic (methadone) for a lil over 5 yrs. I had 6 take homes for most of that time. I told them i wanted to go down 2 mgs a day. They said i wanted to go down too fast & I'd be "unstable" so they took away ALL my take homes. I told them to start taking me down 5 a day then instead of 2 mgs. I only have 2 more days to go. I don't want to start old pill habits, but will taking Lortabs or small amounts of Morphine help with the withdrawals? I'm taking xanax (prescribed) & lots of vitamins & vit c. & of course Immodium.
