Normally my subutex I thought was really tiny, round white. This time it's a larger tablet white round with RP on one side b 8 on other. I have been prescribed methadone since 2009 for nerve and chronic pain. I have had 7 surgeries need 2 more major surgeries, have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, degenerative disease, cervical spondylosis, and severe osteoarthritis of the joints. My doctor referred me to pain management due to personal opinion and unsure how to treat me. Have had inj's., therapy, recently my nerve burnt and received different pain medications - which none have worked or I had reactions to them. The only thing that has worked is Lyrica and Methadone. I've been on methadone for almost 13 yrs due to a car accident when I was a teenager that left me disabled and with chronic pain. My current Dr. Received a letter from the Medical Board ( which he let me see) explaining that in order to keep prescribing methadone that he will need to get a license that will allow him too continue to perscribe this. My dr said it's became a huge hassle and that because of other patients "dr shopping" he just can't do it anymore. I've been with him for over 6 yrs! Hi, I started going to a methadone clinic 3 months ago for opiate addiction. I am paying 98$ a week, well my sister is, bless her heart. I was wondering if this is the cheapest option for me? I have been in Pain Management for 15 years. I have the usual round of diagnoses. Herniated discs at cervical, thoracic and lumber spine. Bone spurs through out. I have spinal cord compression in my neck. Pain. I just switched from 16mg of Exalgo (Dilaudid ER) with Fentanyl ir for breakthrough- back to 100mcg Fentanyl patches with 15mg Morphine 3x a day for breakthrough. I feel like a trapped rat.
