I am on my 2nd injection so it has been 6 weeks. I was on 24 mg of buprenorphine daily and I 100% feel like I am in withdrawal every single day. but need to know how long to wait before i can start taking subitex ## You really should be under a doctor's supervision, both the withdrawals and the use of these medications can be very dangerous. Subutex is normally not started until the withdrawals have started to affect you. Since the drug companies had taken propoxyphene (darvocet ) off the market & my Merck Manuel read that methadone had the same chemical structure, my Dr. Had agreed to let me try methadone in a very small amount for my severe spinal pain. There was nothing left for me or most all older people to try without mental & horrible physical side affect until I started with 1/4 of 10 mg methadone 2 X a day for the 1st yr. After 5 yrs, I am on 20 mg a day & it controls my pain w/ no side effects similar to darvocet. For the last three months or so I have been having trouble finding 54 411s at Walmart’s in Indiana. So I called Hikma which is who bought out westward. And was told that they are indeed still making the tablet but that they cannot force companies to buy their product. Then was told today by a pharmacy that they have ordered the med but that the distribution center they get them from will not fill the order for any generic subutex even tho they have them? Will methadone show up as methadone in a pre employment drug screen? Or does it show up as opiate like Vicodin or something in thy family. What is small white pill with half moon on one side and 154 imprint on other My friend said its a generic 2mg suboxone I was on this med for a yr and never seen one look like this and worried about my friend taking this pill and no it wasn't prescribed to him from a Doc. I have seen white ones they treat for pregnant woman and orange ones in 8mg an 2mg and no research on internet says is a suboxone of any kind. ## While I haven't come across an exact match to your pill, I did find out that the manufacturer "Actavis" makes white round pills with a half moon logo. What does 8mg/2mg mean? Dont know what strength I'm taking? ## Hi Veronica - 8mg/2mg means that the drug has two main active ingredients. And they are 8mg and 2mg per dose respectively. May I ask what you were prescribed? It sounds like Suboxone if I had to guess. For example, a single dose of Suboxone commonly contains 8 mg of Buprenorphine with 2 mg of Naloxone. I recently was on about five months of 20mg of Mehadone to help me get off a serious eight year percocet habit. I tapered down to five mgs..and have stopped for two weeks totally. I feel absolutely horrible. How long might it take to adjust to this stopping? Since I've been taking this new generic suboxone 54 375 it make my arms and hands hurt!! I've been taking suboxone for 3 years now, and I've been switched to most everyone that's came out. I was at 90 mg of meth and goin to clinic everyday and sweating/hiding it from family/friends for two years. My advice, get some benzos legally to help with the withdrwl. Mixing them can be dangerous:so don't! Go cold turkey IT DOES NOT LAST LONG. Trust me 3 days physically; sweating,leg cramps, etc but I PROMISE after day 3 or 4 it is all MENTAL! Why are Pain Management physicians so quick to prescribe Methadone, over any other narcotic, if they already know beforehand just how incredibly hard it will be to get off it--if ever?
