Is it like water or thicker ## From what little information I was able to find, it is noted to be made from a syrup base by many manufacturers; meaning that it would be a thicker consistency than water. A liquid formulation ingredient list may look like this: Methadone Hydrochloride (HCL) BP 1mg/1mL Glucose syrup Green S (E142) Tartrazine (E102) Sunset Yellow (E110) Parabens (preservative) Ethanol Trace chloroform water. So my fiance has been on Zubsolv 5.7mg for about 8 weeks now. But just recently, within an hour after taking a dose, he gets extremely drowsy and gets an awful migraine. For example, just about 30 minutes ago he took his dose and he was wide awake and nothing wrong. Now that the meds are starting to kick in, he is dozing off in the chair, can't keep his eyes open and has a pounding headache. I don't know what to do or how to help. I was on 2 mg suboxone films for at least 5 years, until Independant Health decided to go to bed with the makers of zubsolv. It DOES NOT work the same way!!! The meds half life is not at long at sub was. I could go a day and a half without feeling withdrawal symptoms when on suboxone. Not zubsolv!!! After 24 hours I had major withdrawal! I dont understand is one of these pills equal to a 8 mg? I was wondering if anyone has experienced this and has any knowledge that might help. I have been an opiate addict for roughly 15 yrs. and 2 yrs. ago I started taking Suboxone. I also take Adderall. I was just wondering if some doctors prescribe Suboxone for pain? ## Most don't and from what I understand, insurance companies won't cover it for anything other than drug dependency issues. I have heard of a few people who have taken it for pain but its typically only prescribed for pain as a last resort because of other medical issues making the person unable to take anything else. Why are you trying to get on suboxone? Long term use of it for something like pain management is in my opinion a nastier habit to kick than regular opiates. I recently was switched from 40mg Opana er and Opana 10mg IR to Suboxone tablets due to upcoming CDC regulations. Since the switch my mouth and throat have become numb and tingle after each dose. I have difficulty swallowing, it takes a little more effort. This has progressively gotten worse through the month I have been on Suboxone. I am on day 10 of a Subutex detox and I still feel kind of crappy and my head is really cloudy.
