Yesterday my husband and I got into a big blow out things got really heated. Things said that shouldn't have been said were said everything. He has a drug/physciatirc problem and so do I but I'm on 235 of Methodone and he takes the suboxone. He brought home ice cream last night but it was all mixed up and you can tell it was messed with. I got sick right after with really bad stomach pains than this morning I really thought I was going to DIE! I went into total withdrawal from my methodone. I was SO SICK this morning it was even funny. My question is I know it doesn't come up in a urine but will it come up in blood or hair test? How long before it get's out of my system(the suboxone)? What if it was only a small amount like if he broke it up and crumpled it in there. I c...

in jersey we have people trying to take their pills out of the chemist to sell. the drug service are now crushing tablets before they go under the persons tongue. Do they still wotk as effectively as some seeps into saliva which gets swallowed? would appreciate advice. thanx ## Yes, they still receive the full dosage of the Buprenorphine, it works the same as letting it dissolve or swallowing it. This is only dangerous or prohibitive if it is a time release medication or something that you can't do this with, because the added ingredient neutralizes the narcotic, such as with Suboxone. Is there anything else I can help you with?

i need a doctor who prescribes methadone in philadelphia ## It may help if you provide a little more information, such as why you need the doctor, if it is for pain management or addiction treatment. Not all doctors do both. Can you be more specific, since you remain anonymous on here? Hello all, I need some advice. I was kicked out of my first program 4 months ago. I'm ready to get back on the subs again, but I'm not sure if I need to tell my new doctor that I have taken them before. I live in Colorado and I'm not sure if they will ask if I've ever taken suboxone before or if I'm in some sort of data base. Should I just tell him the truth that I relapsed my first time, or should i just keep it to myself? ## Yes, you are in a database! All narcotic prescriptions are logged and reported to the federal government, a simple search will allow them to pull up your name and information very quickly. So yes you do have to tell them, otherwise you will end up dismissed from another program. Just be honest and tell them exactly what happened. Please post ba...

I have been taking Suboxones for the past 2 years because I am a recovering drug addict. If you don't know Suboxone, it is to take away the withdrawals of the pain pills and it is supposed to take your cravings away. It does not come up in a drug test because it is a very low dose of pain killer in it. You can not just stop taking it, you must wean yourself off it. If not you will still have really bad withdrawals. ## you will have wd regardless. They will be severe the first week and then persistent for the next several MONTHs.... sorry to say. Ween to .25 mg's. ## asap-- 2 years is about a year and 11 months too long to be on a hairy long acting opiate .. which you are addicted to now. ## Suboxone contains the active ingredient Buprenorphine, it will show up in drug tests as a...
