If someone was taking 8mg suboxene 1x a day for 8 years, could they take about 30 milligrams of liquid methadone for 30 days to detox from suboxene and have no withdrawals/side effects. Please advise asap. ## Hi Gene! Before you start the methadone you must be in withdrawals. Are you going through a clinic or on your own? Since you've been on suboxone for awhile, it may take longer than 30 days to get clean. Methadone in it self is addictive too. If you are going to do this in a month you will probably still go through withdrawals for awhile. Again, being you were on suboxone for some time. Let us know how you are doing.
Hey guys...I'm on Subs 16mg/day but sometimes still have strong cravings for Morphine. Does anyone else get cravings for opiates? Is Sub stronger? Thanks ## Hi RH ! If you are still getting cravings for opiates, you may need an increase of suboxone. That happened to me, I needed to increase from 16mg to 24mg. You need to talk to your doctor and let he/she know what's going on.
Methadone prescribing doctor in San Josr, Ca. ## Looking for doctor in so. San Jose that will prescribe methadone. ## Hello, Karen! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. If you require Methadone for addiction treatment, then a clinic is your only option, it is against the law for other doctors to prescribe it for that. However, if you require it for pain, then due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to see a pain management specialist. Do you currently have a PCP that might be able to refer you to someone? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry...

I have been taking 56 mg of methadone every other day I would like to know if 3 8mg Suboxone would help with withdrawal. I know that I have to wait at least three days and in withdrawal before I take the Suboxone. I would like to know if this is going to help me. I am a single mother 36 years old and a full-time college student, I was sober for 4 1/2 years and had an fortunate relapse this is why I started at the methadone clinic in the first place. My new semester starts in a month and I want to be free and clear of this, my question is will the 3 8mg Suboxone and help me so I will not be sick? My friend gave me the three tablets, I do not want to be dependent on the Suboxone this is why I think three would be enough? I am okay with feeling a little crappy but I cannot have full-blown ...
My friend is currently pregnant and has been on suboxone for almost a year now..illegally. . She is winging herself off and wants to know how long it will be in her bloodstream or the babys bloodstream ## Hi, Neina! How is she doing? Your friend should really not be trying to get off of this medication without medical help. It is far too risky for both her and the baby. Doing it too fast could cause severe withdrawal symptoms that could put both of their lives in danger. And if she stays on it, there is a risk of the baby being born addicted. She really needs to tell her doctor and get help. ## Hi. I work for an ob/gyn & I agree w Verwon 100%. If she starts "weening off" too fast it could cause her & the fetus serious problems. In fact, we recommend to our pts to NOT ...
I've been on suboxone for about a year I wanna stop taking it so I can do a pill don't want it to be a waste tho so how long does it take to actually be able to feel something after being on suboxone ## Hi Wonder! You need to wait until you start feeling withdrawals before u will feel the pills. Suboxone has a half life so it lasts longer in your body. But, if I have to say, maybe 48 hours or a little more . As I said though,"you need to be in withdrawals first.
I have chronic pain and i take methadone for both pain and addiction. I need to find a doctor that prescribs methadone in office not clinic ## Hi Stephanie! Doctors cannot prescribe methadone to people who have addiction issues. It's not that they don't want to, they can't. It's against the law. Sorry, but it looks like your stuck going to a clinic.
i got a round white pill 511/half moon imprint, it is thick and circular, it is suppose to be generic suboxone? is it suboxone, i have taken it and i feel it but weird please let me know what you may know about this ## Based on the description provided, the closest match I could find is a white round pill imprinted with "dp" on one side and "511" on the other (identified as Enpresse ethinyl estradiol 0.04 mg + levonorgestrel 0.075mg). This medication is used in the treatment of birth control. Manufacturer: Teva Pharmaceuticals USA National Drug Code (NDC): 00555-9047 You should be able to view a photo of the pill by running a search on google images for "dp 511 white pill", to see if this looks like a possible match. I hope this helps! ## Yes, this is suboxone, n...
I heard from a friend that Louisiana Medicaid is putting a limit on the amount of time it will pay/cover Suboxone prescriptions. I would like to know if this is true. ## Hello, Crystal! How are you? I don't know all the specifics, but many states are putting limits on it, such as only paying for it for one year. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ' Is there anything else I can help with? ## Max daily dosage of up to 24 mg a day for 90 consecutive days. After the 90 days a max of 16 mg a day dosage. Louisisna Medicaid has extended the allowed time to refill non controlled substances to 12 month. But, this does not apply to Suboxone. ## Im on LA med...
I am from ND and in dire need of finding a doctor who can prescribe me Methadone. I have been battling drug abuse for 10+ years and have gone through many treatment facilities. I have done my research and want to move on with my life by getting on a Methadone program. PLEASE HELP! ## The problem with Methadone is that many people never truly get drug free, even after using the treatment programs. They often end up requirng a lifetime maintenance dose of it. You may be better of with Suboxone, which is fairly new, but has helped many people taper off of and completely beat their drug addiction. It contains the opiate Buprenoprhine. You can read about it here: To see if there is a doctor in your area that provides treatment with it, you can check out the website: Suboxone.com Click Here I...

Hi, I was on Methadone for 15 years. For the past 2 years they slowly tapered me because I did not want to feel any withdrawals. They got me all the way down to 3 mg, and I stopped going. Well that was 30 days ago and I'm still going through withdrawals. They are not severe, insomnia, anxiety, diarrhea, cold chills. My question is how 2 stop it? I just want to feel normal again. ## Hi, Tamara! Sorry about the problems you're having. However, that is one very big issue with Methadone, it tends to cause withdrawals and cravings for a very long period of time, that's why most people never completely get off of it and end up requiring a lifetime maintenance dose. Thus, I'm afraid there's no way to know for sure when the symptoms you're having will stop, or if they wi...

Updated in MethadoneNeed doc in dayton ohio who prescribe methadone ## Hello, Charles! How are you? If you're looking for addiction treatment, a regular doctor is not allowed to prescribe it to you for that, according to the current treatment laws. They can only prescribe it for pain. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. If you're looking for it for pain treatment, then you'll need to see a pain management specialist. Can anyone suggest a good doctor in that area?

How are you? I didn't any problems or interactions listed between them, but it would be best for you to double check this information to be sure. How well is the Subutex working for you? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I'm bugging out I'm realty hitting. Bad people ruin it for us that are realty in pain ## Hello, Rich! How are you? Yes, due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you will need to see a pain management specialist, if you require such a medication on a long-term ongoing basis, now. Your doctor has no choice in the matter. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
