Hey guys...I'm on Subs 16mg/day but sometimes still have strong cravings for Morphine. Does anyone else get cravings for opiates? Is Sub stronger? Thanks ## Hi RH ! If you are still getting cravings for opiates, you may need an increase of suboxone. That happened to me, I needed to increase from 16mg to 24mg. You need to talk to your doctor and let he/she know what's going on.

If you require Methadone for addiction treatment, then a clinic is your only option, it is against the law for other doctors to prescribe it for that. Someone plz help with suggestions!!! I've been here in South Carolina 4 about a month now and I can't seem 2 get any help with my suboxone treatment. I have gone as far as 2 travel back 2 tn. I have been taking 56 mg of methadone every other day I would like to know if 3 8mg Suboxone would help with withdrawal. I know that I have to wait at least three days and in withdrawal before I take the Suboxone. I would like to know if this is going to help me. I am a single mother 36 years old and a full-time college student, I was sober for 4 1/2 years and had an fortunate relapse this is why I started at the methadone clinic in the first place. I've been on suboxone for about a year I wanna stop taking it so I can do a pill don't want it to be a waste tho so how long does it take to actually be able to feel something after being on suboxone ## Hi Wonder! You need to wait until you start feeling withdrawals before u will feel the pills. Suboxone has a half life so it lasts longer in your body. But, if I have to say, maybe 48 hours or a little more . Doctors cannot prescribe methadone to people who have addiction issues. It's not that they don't want to, they can't. It's against the law. Sorry, but it looks like your stuck going to a clinic.

I am from ND and in dire need of finding a doctor who can prescribe me Methadone. I have been battling drug abuse for 10+ years and have gone through many treatment facilities. I have done my research and want to move on with my life by getting on a Methadone program. I'm a 36 year old , Landscaper by profession , so most jobs are self employee - 1099 income. Hi, I was on Methadone for 15 years. For the past 2 years they slowly tapered me because I did not want to feel any withdrawals. They got me all the way down to 3 mg, and I stopped going. Well that was 30 days ago and I'm still going through withdrawals. They are not severe, insomnia, anxiety, diarrhea, cold chills. My question is how 2 stop it? I've always been very very slim, almost underweight. When I was 21 I got hooked on oxycoton & gained a ton of weight quickly. I've been on methadone for 5 yrs now & have gained even more weight. I started Butrans 10 on 4/30. Had amazing relief. I felt better than I had in years. I caught a cold around April 20th. Went straight to my chest. My Dr thought I had walking pneumonia and started me on a course of steroids and antibiotics. 10 days later, no improvement, chest xray clear but wheezing and heavy with breathing. Dr. gave another round of steroids and antibiotics. This past weekend, I started to feel like a brand new cold came on me. Severe head congestion, terrible cough, the works. I went to urgent care. That Dr. told me it was allergy related. He gave a decadron shot, Z pak, started me on Zyrtec, albuterol inhaler. Today is the first day I have started to feel a little better.
