I takea lot of pills but this is the first time I mixed these 2 ## Hello, Breezy! How are you? It is not advisable that you mix them, unless your doctor has prescribed them and stated that it's safe for you to do so. Both of these medications can cause depression of the central nervous system, which could cause dangerously lowered heart rate, blood pressure and shallow breathing. Both also carry the risk of being habit forming. Is there anything else I can help with?
I'm 13 days in withdrawal from Suboxone. I was on 8 mg for almost 2 years after abusing Vic/Perc for a little over year. I was never supposed to be put on this evil s*** and it's caused me to lose everything. I'm currently living in my girlfriends 2 bedroom house with her two kids. They all hate me so I basically hide in the basement thru this hell. Being alone is the hardest part for me. Will it ever end? I'm starting to think I don't want to live anymore ;(. Please help ## Hi Jojo, Sorry to hear about the suboxone withdrawals. You're certainly not alone though, as I've seen a number of other patients posting on here who are undergoing the same "hell" as you called it. And I don't think that's an understatement either. Have you tried getting ...
I have been on suboxone for 8 years now. B 4 that, I was on methadone for almost 5 years. I had a lot of surgeries and have a lot of medical problems. I was on pain management (opiates) for 10 years and became an addict. I'm afraid if I get off the suboxone I'll b back on opiates. Due 2 the pain I suffer. How long can I stay on suboxone. Has anybody else been on it 4 a long time? I just don't want 2 b back 2 where I was or go through what I did ever again. ## Hi Cats, Thanks for sharing your story, and sorry to hear about your situation. While there is no single right answer for how long you should be on Suboxone for, this is usually determined on an individual basis in consultation with a knowledgeable doctor. From what I've been reading online, Suboxone tends to work b...
Buprenorphine, used to treat severe pain. Buprenorphine is also used to treat opiate addiction, however its first use was as an analgesic. ## Need to fill my prescription for Temgesic, I am in Nicaragua, near Rivas. Anyone know where to go to get it here? Must have for ongoing issues, this stuff saved my life. Thanks ## I am desperately looking for options for the treatment of severe pain from Atypical Trigeminal Neuralgia and herniated disc in back as well as separated shoulder. Does anyone know where to find temgesic as I am trying to get off other crazy expensive medications? I am in need of 2mg Xanax, subutex, and fioracet as well. If anyone knows anything about this topic or online doctors willing to prescribe near Columbus, Ohio lemme know ASAP please
I left TX after a bad divorce. I have been on Methadone maintenance almost 6 years. I went to a clinic in Huntsville 1 year then a clinic in Houston about 4.5 years. I had one positive U/A about 1.5 years ago but it was wrong. They have a high turn around rate and a couple of people were fired for drug use. A new nurse, I never had seen before and did not know her name. when I came out she said she would hold my urine. I told her we always keep with it until we can seal it, then sign over it. She demanded she hold it. I was NOT happy. After that I had to wait for my dose and my 3 week take homes. (It was 3 weeks instead of 4 because I was at 170 mg and you must be 150 for 4 week take homes) After that 10 or 15 minutes I walked out and she was still standing in the hallway holding my uri...
i am starting on suboxone next week...one of these messages says never tell the suboxone doctor you were at one time on methadone..why is that so,if it is ? ## I've never heard anyone say such a thing, nor have I read it anywhere. I am guessing it may have come from someone that was abusing it, rather than using it for treatment. There are many people who have successfully switched from Methadone treatment to Suboxone treatment to finally beat their addiction problems. With Methadone, they usually end up needing a lifetime maintenance dose and never get completely drug free. This is not true, however, of the Suboxone and for proper treatment, you should always be honest with your doctor. Please post back and let us know how you are doing! ## iv been to several suboxone doctors and i...
I've been getting sick( ie starting to experience various symptoms) most days every day for some time. I have a doctor that has me on a diet pill, fluid pill, birth control, liothyronin, and Suboxone about 2 yrs ago. I dose once a day. Before I go forward, I eliminated one potential problem now. Through diet and exercise I have lost quite a few inches and probably lbs. I haven't weighed myself but others tell me I look like I've lost weights and I now fit in smaller sizes. I'm 23 year old female, 5 4" generally get lots of sleep (only with ambien and melatonin though) These symptoms have begun effecting my life and I have had to drop many classes costing 10's of thousands of dollars and lots of self esteem and basically the esteem of those around me. The best way...
I've been on suboxone for 13 years. I have begged my Dr. to seen me off with. no luck. I changed to a different Dr. and he is helping me seen. thank God. I've weened alittle quicker than he cared for. In the 13 years, everytime I've tried to seen down I experience siezure like symptoms acure. its scary and I'm curious if this is normal or just me. I don't have epilepsy except while in withdrawl. Is this just a sidefect of lessening my dose or what the helps going on? I've received 2 Shia due to this and I just want to understand. {edited for privacy}. thanks to all. ## Hello, Nita! How are you? What are you describing as seizure like symptoms? Normal withdrawal symptoms can include insomnia, tremors, rebound pain, diarrhea and nausea.
I just moved to scranton pa and have been on methadone for 11 years and can't find a Dr to go to can anyone help?????? Thanku ## Where you on it for addiction/maintenance treatment or pain? If you were taking it for addiction/maintenance treatment, then a clinic is your only option, regular doctors are not allowed to prescribe it for that. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
Hello, I am a French student who just returned in University to study philosophy at 35 years old, after a rather chaotic path. I am medicated with methadone and Alprazolam at rather high dosages (120 mg/day methadone and 3mg/ day Alprazolam) since almot 10 years, and I am very stable. One could say I'm a "functioning addict". Currently in my second year at University (I usccessfully graduated my first year with mention), I have the opportunity to go study in the USA during my third year, normally in Boston. My question is mainly about methadone, as I'm less worriend about Alprazolam. It is absolutely out of the quesiton for me to quit; my treatment is a medical necessity. Here in France, I have to go search a new Rx at my doctor's every 14 days, and the Pharmacy then gi
Updated in Methadonehelp me if you know what 153 is white round pill told it was subutex kind of important I find out please ## Hello, Tim! How are you? Can you please double check the imprint and post back? I can't find anything that matches this description. In the meantime, I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you.
I was just, wondering how long methadone tens last and when I need to take another one, again, ## Hello, Kel kel! How are you? What condition is being treated? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. It can vary from person to person, but you should follow your doctor's dosing instructions.
Does suboxone contain fluoride? A little girl in my life has what appears to be dental fluorosis although she does not use fluoridated toothpaste or drink fluoridated water. Her mother was on a large (16-24mg daily) dose of suboxone while pregnant with her, and wonders if that may be the reason for the damage. ## No, there is no Fluoride in Suboxone. The active ingredients are Buprenorphine and Naloxone. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. However, some bottled waters contain fluoride, they are not required to be evaluated and list the fluoride content on the label, so that could be a culprit if they drink bottled water. Is there anything else I can help w...
What meds are commonly used in outpatient rehab to stop using opiate pain pills. ## The one that is most commonly used is suboxone. It is a wonderful medication that allows you to go off opiates without having to feel the horrendous opiate withdrawals. You must be off opiates at least 24 hours to take it. Having opiates in your system while taking suboxone can make you very sick, I know this from experience. Hope this helps and good luck! ## The other one commonly used is Methadone, but unlike Suboxone, many people treated with it require a lifetime maintenance dose and never become completely drug free. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. And as to the Su...
I have been taking Zubsolv for about 6 months now, prior to that I was on Suboxone. I preferred to stay on Suboxone but since insurance companies seem to rule the world I have no choice but to get zubsolv unless I want to pay hundreds of dollars. I had been taking 4mg of Suboxone and making it just fine for over a year on the same dose, after switching to zubsolv, I was originally taking 2 of the smaller triangular pills 1.4/.36 and I was constantly struggling, I was kicking and achy like I was having withdrawal. I told my doctor so she prescribed me 3 of them now a day. I'm not sure how it compares to Suboxone if I'm taking more or less. I am still feeling the same symptoms and they are worse than they were. My whole body aches my legs kick it feels just as bad as when I was ac...
Suboxone has some opiate in it obviously which is why it helps the opiate withdrawl symptoms. it also has the Naxloxone which blocks our opiate receptors from other opiates. I got a small amount of pain relief from it, can this happen? ## Actually, it mostly contains the opiate and a very strong one called Buprenorphine. It is sometimes used to treat severe pain, for people who have not had good relief from other pain medications. It is, however, more commonly used to help treat drug addiction. It is a long process, but most people that use it do end up completely drug free. The opiate agonist in it is Naloxone. Are there any comments or questions? ## i took a test for i.o.p and i came up positive for suboxone and i never even took one in my life..does anyone know what would make it com...
please help! i was takeing methadone, paxil, buspirone, zofran, prozac, wellabutrin ,hydrochlorothiazide, metronidazol, fluconazole. i stop takeing everything but the methadone, because the treatment facility that i attend accused me of using benzos and i havent touched that in a really long time. i really need to know why this is happening, they are telling me my levels are increasing and i've only taken what they have perscribed to me. and this situation is causing me to lose everything including my freedom if i cant find the proof i need to prove my innocense. ## It actually might be the Buspirone that you are taking, most of the anti-anxiety medications are known to cause false positives for Benzodiazepines. Learn more Buspirone details here. You should probably discuss the issu...
Well my personal experience, I took a very small piece of Bupernorphine about short of a week before I was to participate in study. The company wanted no suboxone in the urine. Two weeks later I was still testing positive. I stop trying to participate study in fraustration. A guy that I knew in the study told me he almost took three weeks before his urine tested clear for bupernorphine. Figure that one.
Updated in SuboxoneMy question is what kind of time frame and what would be the procedure/directions in regards to weening off 25 mg. I've been taking 25mg perc. for about 2 years. There have been times when I'm out and of course go thru the normal WD's. I'm strongly thinking about getting professional help but I'd like to know what to expect when I go in there. I know a clinic that perscribes 8mg sub strips. Any information would be appreciated. TY

Subutex requires a doctor's prescription in order to be purchased in the U.S. It contains a very potent narcotic, Buprenorphine, that is mainly used to treat drug addiction and some severe cases of chronic pain. Are there any questions or comments? ## Dear Ladies and genlemen, , All of us are looking for getting some bread for our homes.I am really interes...
