I've been on suboxone 2/8 mg f2 a day. I haven't taken a suboxone in 6 days. Souls I be able to feel it? I'm havin surgery this mornin and their givin me nor I n a Demerol shot. Is that gunna work sine I hvnt had a sub in 6 days? I have been on suboxone since 2008. 3 weeks ago I was switched to Zubsolve bc my ins stopped paying for the subs. Anyway the Zubs are awful. I've been sick for 3 weeks and am having to take 3x the dose I'm suppose to be taking. I'm going to the doc today to get back on the suboxone, yet I still have the ins problem. Has anyone been on both Suboxone and Subutex to compare the 2. Subutex would be a lot cheaper if it actually works. I don't want to buy another script that doesn't work. Zubsolv was suppose to be the same as suboxone, even better. It is a nightmare for me. It does not work at all like the suboxone. Anyone??? I'm sorry that you're miserable. Methadone is actually notorious for causing withdrawals and being very hard to get off of, even if replaced with something else. That's why many people treated with it for addiction end up on a lifetime maintenance dose and never become totally drug free. Some people have been successful using Suboxone to leave it behind, but it can still be tough. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. How are you doing on the 16mg dosage?

I'm down to just over 1 mg daily. I will have a urinalysis for a very important job in about a week. Btw I have a scrip however would be working in an industrial machine environment. How long will this small dose be detected? I have been weening off for a year now. Advice?

Need help paying for subutex ## Hello, Tammy! How are you? I'm sorry, but I have not been able to find a current assistance program for Subutex. This is fairly normal, since generics are available now, which by their very nature are cheaper. One idea to try to save money on your prescription would be to ask your pharmacy if they accept any discount cards. Most of them are free to enroll in, you just sign up on the relevant website and then print the card. Does anyone else have any ideas? Will you insurance cover it? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

A bunch of city jobs are currently being tested for (Court officer, bridge and tunnel officer, sanitation worker and fdny soon as well) and I'm just wondering if you need to tell them you're on suboxone during the interview/medical process or if they test for it and if it'll disqualify you...I hear many different opinions so I'm pretty confused and if it will disqualify me I just won't proceed since there'd be no point then. My son's girl friend is a recovering drug addict. She was doing really well until her lung collapsed, landing her in the hospital for three days. The doctors had her on STRONG pain meds by mouth and by IV. She was scared to death that when she got out she would have withdraws. The doctor put her on suboxone strips. She moved in with me so I could monitor her intake of meds. She told me to give her one SUBOXONE in the morning and one at night. She has been nodding out at the computer, on the phone, eating, talking, standing, and now she is demanding two strips in the morning. I've been prescribed 2, 8 mg strips of Suboxone a day by my doctor. The problem is, I'm clean and have been for weeks. My question is am I going to be okay taking such a high dose of Bupe? Should I be concerned or what do I do? ## You seem to have zero tolerance.. I'll assume you are having cravings to use your doc. So can help with this but go very very slowly. 2mgs at a time. If they've both been prescribed for you by doctors who are aware that you're taking both medications. Otherwise, combining them isn't safe, especially if your body is not tolerant to such medications. Both of them can cause sedation and depression of the central nervous system, so you may inadvertently overdose. These effects can cause symptoms such as extreme drowsiness, dizziness and shallow breathing, which has the potential to be fatal. These medications also carry the risk of being habit forming. Is there anything else I can help with?

I'm very sorry that you're in pain. However, there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. Technically, any doctor can prescribe it, but there are some regulations that restrict it, now, so many won't do so. So yes, if you require such a medication, you'll need to see a pain management specialist, due to the new regulations that were put in place last year. I took an 8 mg suboxone last thursday and it was only ONE time use (not consistent usage) and got drug tested yesterday (thursday - so it was 7 days later) .. I am young, healthy & drink alot of fluids.. What are the chances of it showing up on my drug test yesterday? ## If you only took it once and you don't take it a lot. It should be out within 8 hours. I'm on suboxone taper. I share some with my bf. he had no ins. can't get in program. We are both clean so no judging please. Last week I took none over weekend and 4 mg on Mon then tested negative using dip stick. I took 1 mg yesterday & 2 mg late afternoon/evening today. Will I test positive tomorrow afternoon? I am a bartender and about to start suboxone. I have been taking pain pills for almost ten years which started from a torn Achilles. The money I spent on pills is ridiculous. I do on occasion do coke just to keep me awake. Will it be bad while on suboxone? What risks will it have? Please be honest if u have done this.

I think I'm one of the very few that is hypersensitive to the other ingriendent in suboxone (not the opiate)naloxine or however you spell it. I was in a severe car accident and suffered t7t8t9 fractures and already had a previous back injury.
