I,m an older man 54 who,s had addiction problems since teens. Did lot of drugs when younger. Stopped on my own for about 5yrs. About 10 yrs. ago had health problem and Dr. prescribes lortab. I did not tell him about addiction problem, I know very stupid. Got health problem squared away but was enjoying the tabs. I,m sure everyone knows how this story goes. Was doing 10-15 10 mg. tabs a day or whatever I could get for better part 6-7 yrs. Started doing 30mg. oxycodone 10-15 a day for past yr. and half or so. Sick of the s*** so went to sub dr. who put me on one and half film strip once a day in morning, I think it,s 12mg of the stuff. Ive been taking suboxonr for 2 yrs, my insurance switched me to zubsolv which ive been on 1.4mg every 2 days for 5 months. I went to urgent care center for strep throat and was given pain med script for norco. It was dumb to fill it and i found a pharmacy to do it but i dont want to take them and now im affraid my regular pharmacy will see that and not fill my refular zubsolv prescription. How long would a single dose (3mg) be detectable with a urine test?? ## Ok.. First off even with your small dose there are several factors that can influence the detection including the type of screening test used, a lab test, and simply you as a person, physically and health wise.. I know this all from a lot of trial and error and from extensive research via Internet and asking health professionals. To answer your question to an average time give yourself at least 6 or 7 days with plenty hydration or dilution for the test to be safe.. I have failed at 6 and 7 days w/o dilution and have passed at 5 days with.. As for the type of screening test, if you know which brand type your tester uses that can be very helpful.. I am not allergic to suboxone. However they give me headaches and prices are outrageous! I was tricked into switching from subutex to trying these new Zubsolv's which has made my life hell, literally. I am not an abuser. I have been struggling with treatment itself in terms of finding a doctor who will prescribe what helps "Subutex" and who will not take me off it in a month or two and try experimenting my life with suboxone, subzolv and whatever else. I'm not seeking this medication to abuse it. It works so perfectly for me and its so stressful to think that nobody will prescribe it. My father was a chronic pain patient with a spinal tumor who was moved off of Oxycontin and Dilaudid to methadone. Unfortunately, after a long, log battle, he became completely paralyzed and the tumor was in the process of killing him. He asked to be terminally sedated. The doctors put him on a morphine drip, but even after they quadrupled his dose, he was still in pain and awake. Eventually, they got to 4000mg a DAY of IV morphine, and it was ineffective. We did our research, and it showed there is NO conversion rate for methadone to morphine equivalents as there is with every other opioid. In other words, just to duplicate the 30-40mg a day of morphine he was taking would have required anywhere from 240-3000mgs of morphine - forget actually sedating him. 8 mg/day suboxone user. Urine lab test shows large amount of hydromorphone (dilaudid). Can this be from suboxone? ## What?? Heck no! Have you taken any hydromorphone? Or possibly used someone else's urine? Or maybe mix up at doc office/lab occured? Suboxone tests as Bupe and naloxone. If you know for a fact that you haven't taken anything demand a blood test or hair so they can back track to the round about time frame of your supposed hydro usage. I have been on suboxone for 2 years, and I take it every day. Yet my last 3 urine tests have shown up 2 of them negative for Suboxone and one came up as specimen contains only raw suboxone. The only thing I can think is the lab they are sending it to is messing up some how. For the test that came up with the raw suboxone it says they did a tricyclic screen LC/MS/MS. IS THAT THE RIGHT TEST WHEN CHECKING FOR SUBOXONE? AND WHY WOULD MY URINE BE NEGATIVE WHEN I TAKE IT EVERY DAY?

It is not a detterent, it contains an ingredient (neutralizer) that prevents people from getting and results, such as a high or energy rush, if they take other opiates while they are taking it. Since is an opiate, that just does not have the same side effects as other opiates, it also prevents withdrawals.
