Hi everyone. I had a odd question. I have been perscribed subutex for about 6 months now and I noticed that it some times just didnt help my pain when taken orally. A month ago I read online that I could dissolve the medication in water and administer it rectally and people say that it seemed to be more effective. I tried it and it worked and I've been doing it that way ever since. Recently my doctor's office switched to saliva drug testing and I had one test taken on Monday. For some reason they wanted to send my swab test off for additional testing and they wouldnt tell me why. Im wondering if I tested negative for Subutex because of the new way I've been administering it. I do not know if that kind of test only tests for things taken orally. I have been taking methadone 20mgs. twice a day, plus 10mgs of oxycodone 4 times a day for the breakthrough pain. This has been my regimen for over 2 years now. But before I was only on methadone by itself since aug of '99. I went from 140 mgs. down to 70 and now I am down to 40. I need to find a pain clinic closer to home. Maybe in TN or Lexington, Ky. Does anybody know of one in these locations? I would greatly appreciate the help.

My fiance has been taking sleep aid pills of Diphendydramine 50 mg and methadone showed up on a drug test. She doesn't use...some reading I have done has shown that ingredient in other people's system when methadone has show up. Please help! ## No, the Diphenhydramine has been known to cause false positives for PCP, not for Methadone. Learn more drug test details here. Does California's state insurance Medi Cal cover the doctor visits on suboxone and that medication? I live in Southern California. Any information would help. Thank You !!! ## Hi Danielle, I believe you may have to contact MediCal directly for up to date information on coverage. As from what I'm seeing online, Naloxone (one of the active ingredients in Suboxone) is listed on the drug formulary that was updated on May 20th, 2015 - But no apparent sign of brand name Suboxone in and of itself; or generic Buprenorphine - the other active ingredient in Suboxone. I attend a methadone clinic and have for a lil over 2 yrs. Recently I transferred to a new clinic. And I had my first ua which was dirty because the other clinic had me at such a low dose, I started 2 withdraw and started taking opiates. I recently made a bad decision and tried shrooms (mushrooms) for the first time ever, and 2-3 days after I tried it I had a ua. My results aren't back yet, but my question is do shrooms show up in a drug test at methadone clinics?

Ive been on 160mg of methadone for 2 years but i cant Feel it at all, if i switch to subutex will i feel Them? ## @drew, According to The National Alliance of Advocates for Buprenorphine Treatment (naabt.org), it is recommended that patients slowly reduce their Methadone dosage down to 30mgs for a period of at least a week, BEFORE attempting to discontinue it completely - AND THEN waiting at least 36 hours before starting Buprenorphine. They also go on to emphasize that patients "MUST" be in a mild to moderate state of withdrawal before taking their first dose of Buprenorphine. That said, I would just encourage you to follow these protocols down to the 'T' as well as asking your doctor for their opinion in case minor adjustments need to be made to fit your specific situa...

I have been taking blue Xanax for the past couple of days and my Suboxone Dr, who I am scheduled to see on Friday, does regular drug screens to make sure that only Suboxone is in my system. I've gotten one of my friend's urine to use on Friday. Only problem is, they don't take Suboxone! Can I sprinkle some crushed up Suboxone in their clean urine to show up that I'm clean besides Suboxone? If I just use the clean urine, he will know that it's a hoax because I've been testing clean but with Suboxone and there's no way I can go without taking it. Found a small white round pill that has a three dimensional circled P on it so that the P looks raised. That is printed above a 10. Nothing on the other side and no other marks or scoring. No other colors. I've check many other sites. With no luck. The closest I've found was a google images picture of an orange pill that had the same P on it and when I tried to connect to the link there wasn't anything helpful there. ## @Jp, Based on your description, the closest match I found is one account of a small round white pill (unscored) with a "P" over "5" on one side and blank on the other. I been taking suboxen strips for only three days now &I have been only taking a quarter of the strip or half of it at a time depending on how bad I feel.I was still feeling horrible so someone told me I wasn't taking enough.So around 7:00pm in the evening I took a whole 8mg strip BC I felt not so good.N I waited n waited for it to kick in&it never did.I was in with drawls & they got way worse not better.I felt better before I took it.Why did this happen?And I was in a small withdrawl state when I did take it,n already took some for days before,so was it just 2much at one time?Please help if anybody out there knows why this happened?And should I hang in there BC I have a very demanding job,very physical work.I can not feel like this or b like this.But do not want 2go back...

Okay, I have been an opiate addict for 6 years now and I'm trying to get clean.. Well yesterday I took about 5 xanax and had the last of my stuff in the morning and didn't wake up till today. Well when I woke up I took a zubsolv and I wasn't even feeling that bad, but it seemed to work ANYWAYS.... I guess my question is since I barely just took the zubsolv and I've been on opiates for 6 years, will I still feel the opiates? PLEASE HELP ME OUT. THANKS SOOO MUCH!

I was given a swab test to see if I was using illicit drugs on top of my methadone, and to my shock it came back positive for coke and heroin and negative for methadone and diazepam which I take daily. Does anyone know how this could happen? Thing is I took a urine test 2 weeks prior and that was fine, so what happened I do not know. Any info would be appreciated.

I've been on suboxone for about a month. Before I decided to face my addiction of over 10 years of opiate pain killers, I was on 80MG of Ms contin 3Xs daily, 40 of oxy as needed every 4 hours, Norco 10s 1 or 2 pills as needed every 4 hours, Xanax, Lyrica and a few others. First my doctor started me on 1\2 tablet 2Xs a day. It wasn't enough so he went up to 3xs a day. It still wasn't helping. He wouldn't raise it so I switched doctors.
