Are there any FL Medicaid managed care groups that cover Buprenorphine, either for addiction or chronic pain? After becoming disabled, I can not work, depend on SSI, to survive, but end up spending 70% of that supplement, meant to cover living expenses, on out of network office visits and Rx. Unfortunately, thanks to the rx drug abusers and greedy (dr's) pill mills that once operated like candy stores, the only opioid available, legally in FL is Bup. Thank God I don't have cancer pain, but I do have multiple conditions that cause intolerable pain. I recently went to the ER with a kidney stone and had to pass it with Motrin! i have lost my job and with that my insur. problem being that i have been on subutex for quite a few years and can no no longer afford them. Is it safe for a parent to be driving their children while taking subutex? ## It really depends on the person in question and how it affects them. If you read the warnings given for these types of medications, it states that you shouldn't drive or operate heavy machinery, until you know for sure how the medication is affecting you. If it causes a lot of drowsiness and dizziness in the person that's taking it, then no, they should refrain from driving. Hello i just found out i was having a baby i have bluecare insurance does anyone know a doc that prescribes subutex and takes my insurance and is in murfressboro tn please help ## I don't know how it is in TN, but judging by down here in GA, where I live and what I did when I found out I was pregnant and surprise surprise got laid off my job a week later. My best bet was to go get emergency Medicaid. And they would do anything to help you get off and stay off drugs, like they did for me. I live in Houston, TX (77092 area) and have called major, "mom and pop", even obscure pharmacies. I can NOT find a place that carries methadone! (10 mg. 120 ct.) I am so frustrated! I have to say I love love love this site! I have been to them all and this one is by far my favorite. I belonged to one methadone discussion group and I felt as though I couldn't answer any question or post anything without being scrutinized. I answered once and 3 people told me how wrong they thought I was in the rudest way imaginable. I promptly quit the group. Listen, I have been on methadone for over 10 years, I'm not an expert but I certainly know a thing or two about it. yes I need help having my medication filled. There is such a high demand of subutex in my area that the pharmacies are doing a a member ship programmer loyal customer program and they are turning people down and that's just not the same legal or ethical. I took 20mgs of methadone about once a week for the last month and I'm gonna get a job offer within the next 2 weeks to a month and it requires a 12 panel hair follicle drug test. Is 20mgs 5 times low enough for me to pass or do I have to do the toxin shampoo, vinager, dish soap, ect.... ... ## Nah sweetie I'm sorry but I know from much experience and many 12 panel test that yes It will def show up. I am a recovering addict with 2 years clean. My doctor tests my urine weekly to make sure I'm taking my suboxone. Today, the test showed none in my system when I take it as directed. I got treated very terribly by him because of it. ## I am a recovering addict of opiates for 8 years. I had 2 test 2 months in a row cone up negative when I can't get through the day with out the med. I was also treated life crap the dr would not even let me defend myself and called the cops for me simply trying to tell him something isn't right I take my med every day. Quick Trim claims to be a natural herbal supplement to aid in weight loss, but they do not list the ingredients on their website. Since Suboxone is a narcotic that can react with many other substances, I suggest asking your doctor, before you risk combining the two of them. Do you know what the ingredients in Quick Trim are? If you use Suboxone to get off Methadone or any other opiate, you will be trading one addition for another. Suboxone is extremely difficult to withdraw from, google it prior to using it for anything. It causes weight gain, in 5 years I have gained 50 lbs and I am very active, working out does not help to lose the weight, this drug is dangerous, my heart blew a valve, Sick Sinus Syndrome, not good, look it up, my cardiologist said Suboxone caused it. Once again, depending on how long you are on Suboxone, the withdrawal symptoms are horrific and it could take years for you to wean off of it. I was on 45mg methadone and waited 72hrs after the last dose. Doctor started me on 4mgs of suboxone twice a day. Just took first dose in the AM. Sick as hell. Put me in withdrawal.
