I have been on a pain management program with suboxone for almost three years now due to chronic pain. I do not have a prior drug addiction problem. I say this due to many people think you have to have a prior opioid problem. That's just my question tho. My recent ex broke up with me because he said the only way you can be prescribed suboxone for pain management is if you had a prior drug abuse problem. I told him that was not true by no means but he argues an says he's right. Can anyone please back me up and explain to him in the comments that he is wrong to a certain extent. I would really appreciate it. Thank you and god bless! ## Hello, Lyn! How are you? You are correct and your ex is not. Suboxone contains the opiate Buprenorphi...
i found a pill that is cut in half..on the front there is an m inside a square on the other side it looks like either a l44 or a 44 ## Hi carina, The closest match I've been able to locate has the imprint "M 57 71" rather than "M 44 or l44". This pill is also white and rectangular shaped with a score line and an M inside of a square. The pill I just described is identified as Methadone hydrochloride 10 mg. For verification, the manufacturer of this specific pill is Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. If this does not match your pill, is there any possibility that the marking has simply been misread? If not, hopefully you can use this information help narrow down your search. Mallinckrodt is the only company who uses the boxed "M" logo. ## I found a small rectangle ...
Can I take.subs 24 hrs after my last vicodine use ## Hello, Lenny! How are you? No, you must be in full withdrawal, before taking the Suboxone, or it could throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals, so please follow your doctor's instructions. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
I'm using Vics and brown to help me come offer 20 yrs of methadone. But need tons tart subs now. I tried yesterday only 12 hours after taking vics but went into that ugly detox, but a handful of Vics took me rite back out of it. Thank god. Now it's been 24 hrs, since last vic intake, feel sick enough, can i take Subs now? ## Hello, Leonardo! How are you? No, unless your doctor has instructed you otherwise, you need to be in full withdrawal, before taking Suboxone, or it can throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Hi guys I'm Alan and ive had a bad pain pill problem for a while. I just called a Dr about the suboxone program but he wants 140 for first visit and 70 bucks every 2 weeks after(mandatory visit every 2 weeks) plus 150 every two weeks for prescription and 15 for drug test. Can anybody help me with a cheaper Dr that only requires once a month for visits near Flint mi or Madison heights mi? Thanks for any help ## Hey alan, Sorry, don,t know anyone in your state. You can search suboxone doctors in your area and call around. The price your paying for dr. visit without insurance would be average to a little low compared to my area. Subs are still high with some insurance plans and very expensive without insurance. Search suboxone coupons, theres some you can use with insurance and some fo...
I don't know what to do I usually use a mail order pharmacy but I don't have anything to hold me over for 7 days where can I get this script filled in Palm Beach county. FL .. I have been out for 3 days now and I am 53 and paralyzed.
Updated in MethadoneI've been on suboxone for 2 years now. I was addicted to pain pills. I've had withdraws from the pills and withdrawals from the suboxone, and the suboxone is 10 times worse. I don't know who discovered this drug but they should be shot. If I would've known suboxone was this bad I would've tried to quit cold turkey. They even have me on a higher dose than i took with the pills. But now I'm stuck!!! At least my Dr that I have to pay every month is happy. My advise is whatever you do don't go with suboxone. There's bound to be something better out there. ## Hello, Whisper! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problems you've had. However, Suboxone does work well for many people, because though it takes awhile and must be very slowly tapered, it has ...
anything is possible I've been on methadone for 7 years and on 100mg and just decided to stop because i didn't want this for the rest of my life so its more about the strength of your mental health, having support and something to just take the edge of for the first few days.... well saying I'm of methadone I'm 6 days of 100mg and its nothing like i thought it would be... anyhow its the most evil s*** ever and really its a program for life even though they say "maintenance program" its crap one day you will have to detox if you want to have the life you dreamed of and that i have learnt is only when your ready. Anyway good to see I'm not the only one having this issue. male 35 ## Hey Luke. I'm geron. I'm can no longer afford the methadone clinic.. I...

That helped but now thats gone and I am still feeling the sting! can anyone tell me when I will feel normal again? ## I was reading about you being on suboxones for 3 years and are finally off them? and still feeling ukk??? oh man, i also have been on for about 3 years almost and i am so ready to get off these darn things myself, however having read your comment about not feeling well STILL? that scares me as i have a 2 ye...
Does a client on suboxone test positive or negitive for opiates & why? ## Does a client on suboxone test positive or negitive for opiates & why??????????? ## They would test positive, because Suboxone IS an opiate! Here's the monograph with more information: Suboxone Info Click Here ## How long does Suboxone stay in your system? ## I don;t know what to do I have to take a urine test for the Courts Friday about 5pm. The last time I took Suboxone was at 6:30 7:00 last night Wednesday. Don't know if I am better off just saying I was taking the Vicodin for Migraines which was the case or admiting to the dependency, just don't want any reason for them to keep testing me or cause anymore issues. ## Don't need to worry about the drug test, it will be negative unless the...
I have been on methadone for chronic pain after back fusion in 2007. Been taking aderall for add for two years, also. Dr. called me at home last wk to come into office for med change.Told me that there are new findings out and no one should take these two at any time any more. Has started me on stratterra now along with Methadone. I don't like it. Has anybody heard about this finding? ## Hello, Jon! How are you? No, I didn't find any really dangerous interactions listed, but its possible that your doctor received a notice about something that isn't in the databases, yet. Why don't you like the Strattera? What type of problems are you having with it? ## Strattera doesn't work. Period. It's' also not a Controlled Substance. Address works for ADD, ADHD, narcolep...

Recently moved to Seattle from Alaska and had me a good Dr to continue my methadone intake. I've been on it since 1992, resulting from getting shot through my neck. My new Washington Dr had her license partially revoked by DEA 2 days before my 480 pill pick up. Now I'm on Suboxone being treated like a...
I need subutex in Spokane wa ASAP pls email ## In general, I think pain management doctors would be less reluctant to prescribe Subutex than a regular primary care physician; mainly because they are constantly dealing with patients who are on opiates and this includes those who are also tapering and going through withdrawals as well. So, if you're looking for any sort of doctor, look for a pain management one. I may not have a doctor I can refer you to, but I can provide you with a couple links that may be of service to you in so far as locating pain management doctors within your general area... Input your city or zip code for narrowed results: {link removed because site no longer exists} wellness.com/find/pain%20management%20specialist I'd consider calling up a number of them ...
I am a 59 ye daysar old male who is 100/disabled and have been on methadone for the past 20 plus years. Due to the new drug laws along with the retirement of my recent physician, it seems almost impossible to find a new doctor. Additionally, I should mentioned the fact of loosing a leg, 23 surgeries, and perhaps hundreds of pages of medical papers..All recent physicians will and have presribed oxymophine 40 mg. plus roxycodone daily, with valium, feytnal, and dilaudid to little effect. Please, someone out there get in touch a.s.a.p. I in earnest for a reply from anyone willing to assist. I served this country with honor, respect, and dignity. Please offer your assistance with God in your hearts. Thank you. ## It's strange my friend how those that do not need methadone get it, and th...

I caught my partner abusing subutex on more than one occasion. I would like to know if he's getting an opiate-like effect from doing so, as he always hides it from me? ## Absolutely. I've done it for years. ## Hello, Andora! How are you? Yes, Doc is correct! Subutex contains the opiate Buprenorphine and some people will feel high or euphoric from taking it. The FDA even warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause other side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
Im on day 3 of subutex withdrwals. I read a lot of horror stories about coming off this drug but so far it has been a lot easier than I expected but I've been told that it may get worse on day 4 or 5. So far nights have been the worst part, can't sleep as my legs have a mind of their own and keep having spasms. No sickness yet and feeling ok by day apart from tiredness and only being able to stand for short periods of time. I put off giving up sooner cause i thought it was going to be hell and I'm praying it won't get much worse in the next few days cause I can cope well if it stays as it is now. ## Well I'm on day 5 now and it hasn't got any worse i even did an hours gardening yesterday although it realy did drain me. Still need some sleep. ## Hello, Jo! How are...
Hi I would love some info from anyone that may have been through my situation or something similair. I have to have my wisdom teeth cut out tomorrow. Now I am taking 10 mg of subutex each day. I was told by my doc to skip my subutex today and by tomorrow the pain meds would work. Take pain meds no more than 2 days and then on the 3rd morning just go back on the subutex. My question is this, is stopping the subutex today enough time that I will be able to feel the pain meds which will be norco 10 mg by tomorrow? I am also afraid I am going to cause the precipitated withdrawals I've read about or that I'm gonna be in withdrawal while taking the norcos for pain those couple days. Please any info would be so appreciated. ## Did everything work out? Usually, Subutex needs to be stopp...
How can I stay on suboxone when the doctor wants to take me off? ## Don,t know if it would work but you could tell him you still have urges to use and you don,t think your ready yet. Why do you want to stay on it? ## Hi Bill Brasksi! As Jolter said,"u can tell the Dr that u r still having cravings 2 use." I've been on suboxone 4 almost 8 years, and, I don't plan on getting off it anytime soon. My reason is I feel that I will b back on pain pills, again. (Due. 2 the pain I suffer) I'm just not ready, yet, and, I don't trust myself. ## @Bill, Does your doctor want you off Suboxone indefinitely or is he just trying to get you to taper down from what you've already been taking? In either case, I think it would be a good idea to ask your doctor his reasoning for w...
