I got my drug screen back from my pain doctor today from last month and he said that my methadone showed up but my metabolites were way way lower than my past. He says that means they aren't being broken down which can mean that im tampering with my urine and possibly scrapping my pill into my urine. Never ever in my 18 yrs of going to a pain doctor have I ever done such a thing so im trying to figure out what else could possibly cause this because he said it could be plenty of reasons but none good on my part. Plz help.

Is any special DEA license needed for prescribing suboxone? An X as a prefix to your DEA license number? ## Yes. Usually pain management specialist or psychiatrists will have this type of license. They are physically audited by the DEA regularly. I was started on Suboxone to get off of oxycontin. It absolutely saved my life. It does concern me that you asked about the doctors license designation. As a patient, that is none of your business. It makes you sound like you are trying to create a counterfeit script. I hope not. ## A dr prescribing suboxone to treat drug addiction must have gone through additional training. But, if a dr is prescribing suboxone for pain management, the additional training is not required.

I had back surgery a few months ago for two ruptured disc pushing on a nerve. Now I'm physically addicted to the opiates as well as mentally that I was prescribed and find myself wanting them for a buzz.. My problem is I am on Ohio Parole in Cincinnati.and in order for me to need to be prescribed Suboxone I obviously was abusing opiates prescribed or not. Which is a violation of my parole. I have a suboxone prescription that i've tried getting filled from the jacksboro tenn clinic since the 23rd of february. I have passport ins. and i saw a kentucky doctor at that clinic. I have been taking up to 6 x 10 mg of Norco per day and have tapered down to 3 per day. I am starting the Suboxone film and I'm not sure how long to wait? It has been 18 hours so far since my last Norco and I feel like crap with achy chills and exhaustion. I have been going through moderate withdrawals for the past week since I've been tapering down and I'm sick of feeling like crap. I'm really wanting to start the Suboxone but don't want to go into severe withdrawals. Is 18 hours enough or should I wait longer? Also, I am prescribed Adderall for ADHD. This tablet is manufactured by Actavis and they list it as being an 8mg sublingual Buprenorphine tablet, so it's a generic for Subutex, which doesn't contain the Naloxone that Suboxone does. If I took Xanax 5 days before a mouth swab at my methadone clinic will I fail? Also if I have take homes for the whole week and I fail will they call me in early or just wait till the following week for me to go in? my mother is terminaly ill we cant find her medication anywhere in volusia county florida she take methadone 10 mg tabs for pain she has'nt had any in three days I don't know what to do ## Try to find out if they have the liquid instead. Or see if they have the 5mg pills. If not her doctor will have to prescribe something that is opiate based until you find a pharmacy that has it or until it becomes availale again. I went to a lab to take a buprenorphine drug screen. Is that the only drug that they are testing for? I called a few days later and they said they had one test result but waiting for the second result. Why is that??? Why 2 results??? ## How many days does adderall stay in your urine??

I am currently prescribed Suboxone, but my doctor gave me 2 Subutex due to the lower cost. I do consume marijuana. I have tried dissolving a piece of Suboxone in clean urine before and the test showed up positive for opiates. Since Subutex is missing the opiate-blocker, if I use someone else's clean urine and sprinkle some Subutex in it will it show up for opiates? I know they test to see if Suboxone is in your urine, but do they test for Subutex also? ## They both contain the same opiate, Buprenorphine and would be detected as such if they are testing for it. So if I get terminated, there are drugs to help raise dopamine levels as quickly as possible? I cannot go thru PAWS for a year. I won't be able to function. I hope they just used the standard 5-panel test, then I'll be OK. If they use the Gas Chromography test, I'm screwed. I did the right thing in seeking proper alcohol withdrawal monitoring. I don't understand why they wouldn't allow me to take my regular MS Contin. I brought them the pharmacy receipts that even describe the color and shape of the pills. OK, first of all right now I am fuming. I am mad and upset because I have been off of heroin for over 3 years and been on methadone maintenance the whole time. I have never once in all this time failed a drug test or had any issues. I have not used anything at all. Today, I go in to get my dose and weekly take homes. They said I couldn't dose that I needed to talk to someone first. I go in and talk to some lady I had never met before and she tells me I failed a drug test. I was shocked. I don't want to be tied to a clinic. I was on pain mngmt for a few years and did great, then moved to Sacramento. HELP ## I was on pain mngmt in the bay area. 160 mg methadone a day 6 mg dilaudid breakthrough a day and 6 mg klonopin for anxiety. On this schedule of medicine I did great. It changed my life. Then I moved to Sacramento and can't find a doctor that will help for the life of me. I have a brain tumor, had a head injury, broke my neck and back, right arm amputated (phantom) pain right leg neuropathy. I am on the real. Can anyone help?

So I'm in a rehab and on methadone. There is a female here "jen" who WAS on methadone a few years ago...so one day after going to the clinic on her way home she gets into a car accident and the other cars driver dies, it's not the victims fault either, it was jens....Jen is saying it was the clinics fault, that they double dosed her. Apparently the computers were down blah blah blah. I really don't buy it that she was double dosed. If they manually dose u, they have another nurse right next to them verifying the dose.... My question: Is there really a way for drs to test her blood to see she had double the amount of methadone in her??..she's adamant she was double dosed and takes no ownership in her accident..

Does the burprenorphine patch 10 mg cause ulcers? ## It shouldn't, because unlike swallowing a medication, it isn't being processed through your stomach, so it has no effect on stomach acid. I get the whole yucky tummy experience from it and noticed when my dose is higher it's worse. Only thing that helps is alkaseltzer. That sick stuff! Hope it helps!!

Please give me the price difference of suboxone tablets, compared to that of the films, medicaid insists that people who are getting them thru the medicaid prog say that is the only type of suboxone they'll pay for...now that there is generic suboxone in the tablet form it would seem that it would be much cheaper then the film, since the films are not generic..

Thanks... ## Hi Rob, I do find it odd that the manufacturer (Actavis) doesn't post photographs of their pills prior to releasing them on the market, as I think it just creates more confusion...
