I took a pretty employment drug test for a CNA position and they said I failed. I am legally prescribed methadone so is it possible for the methadone to have results affecting other sections of the panel? ## Damn discriminatory bastards the medical field is the worst i think.

I received a job offer for a non dot position. Making stoves using power tools ect... I did my physical, and passed the lift test, vision test, pulmonary functions ect... I admitted to talking prescribed meds.. Such as suboxone for past drug use, methylphenidate for add, and seroquil a non narcotic sleep aid for sleep. The dr. there requested my medical records before she would pass me, and a note from my dr. that i can operate heavy equipment, or work safely in the environment they're placing me in. My dr. had no problem in doing so. After she received the info she failed my physical stating im unable to work any swing shifts or around any moving equipment. I've done this kind of work my whole life. I feel discriminated against. Can i sue that criticizing dr? Can she do that? #...

I been on methadone for 9 years, oxy and fentynal b4 that ! Now I been off methadone for 2 months I am now on suboxone, how long do the post acute withdrawals last I still feel horrible I mean better then I was of course but I got this ring ing on my head and wen I relax or try sleep I feel horrible! !!!! It sounds like you might not be on a high enough dosage of the Suboxone to prevent it. Some people do require a higher one, for awhile, then it can be lowered once they are past this. I am a severe burn victim with many health problems besides the burns, I have several disc out and disc degenerative disease, fibermolgia, disc in my neck messed up and neuropathy and the list goes on. My dr has prescribed me methadone for over 8 yrs, now she is saying I have to go to a pain clinic so I went and all they want to give me is antidepressants and OxyCotinER 20 X 4 which I have tried now for over two weeks and I am screaming sick in pain. I recently tested positive for naloxone. I have never taken that. Please help, my job depends on it. I am taking diazepam, seroquel, buspar, neurontin. I was on an antibiotic nitrofurantoin and I tried a vistaril. Can any of these cause a false positive for naloxone? ## The same thing happened to me when I wax going in to doc to get my perc refill. My doc didn't say Bupe was also in my system and I too had taken: Diazepam, nitrofuratonin, and neurontin, as well as naproxen and robaxin. Did you ever find out if any of those scripts were the causing factor? Because she got hesitant because of the stigma of narcan being used as a drug for people overdosing. Thanks.

Imon 10mg of methadone 60mg a day and 10/325 norcos 4 times a day but i took 2 1mg of klonopin the night before my drug test(i didnt know they were gonna do on) can someone help me.. ## I failed my drug test but it didn't show up as a benzo.. I've been on suboxone for four years and I've been taking about a quarter of a strip everyday .. My last dose was at 11:30 this morning .. So my question is how long should I wait to take a hydrcodone? ## You usually have to wait at least 72 hours, unless your doctor instructs otherwise. Does anyone know if there is a difference between the 5721 & 155? I have been on 155s & just recently got switched to 5721 due to my pharmacy. Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics are allowed to differ from the name brand, in the amount of the active ingredients, by as much as plus or minus 20% and they do not have to measure against each other, only the name brand. Thus one generic could be lower in the amount of the active ingredients and one could be higher, which could explain you symptoms. However, since the differences are usually very slight, your body tends to adjust in a week, or two. Are you doing any better, yet?

I am prescribed fentanyl 25mcgs/hr. Sometimes I have trouble keeping the patch on. I had a couple fall off early this month and couldn't get my refill early. So I decided I would use Subxn to help if there was withdrawal. It worked good, but now it's time for me to stop and put back on my patch. I don't know how long I have to wait. I took 2mgs yesterday at 3pm. It's now 1pm. Is it too soon? ## You will be fine to take it, 2mg is a really low dosage- I take a-more than that. Suboxin is a opiate blocker- your patch may not seem as strong but I doubt it- If you take suboxin over a period of time 3days or more - then your patch would be a waste. That low of a dose will not effect that patch 2-day. But if you hadden take a 8mg gram suboxin- I would suggest wating 2days befor...

I am down to 1 8mg strip a day. I took more than the recommended dose a few days and i am short on suboxone. I have a doctors appointment in 2 weeks and i have one strip saved for the day of the appointment. If i take that strip the morning of my appointment will my urine show that i have it in my system. I dont want to screw around wasting suboxone by mixing it in my clean urine, so please don't suggest that i do so. I took Vicodin last night at 10 pm and I took suboxone this morning at 7 am. Am I clear to take opiates or not? ## Hello, Eric! How are you? I'm on methadone in Pittsburgh have 13 days carry on for an 18 day vacation in Germany. I need to know how and where to see a doctor abroad to get my meds for an extra 5 days. Thanx ## Skip every third day. With the half life you'll have no problem. I always do that when i get 2 weeks off but take 3. You may have a mental problem but no physical one. When they switch people to suboxone you have to go to the third day w/out medication so it's doable.

How are you? Did you experience any adverse effects? There is always a risk of overdosing, when you take that much over your normal dose and overdoses can be fatal. The U.S. FDA lists the warning signs as possibly including nausea, dizziness, vomiting, severe drowsiness and shallow breathing.

Yes. I am prescribed 2 8/2mg suboxone strips per day. I am tested weekly. How many days of prescribed dose do i need to comply with to have levels be accurate..... bc i dont wanna get cut off but at the same time i only really need 1 not 2. I have been on the methadone program for 12 years on 80 to 90 mil a day.
