What is the difference and why did the pharmacy give me u03's instead of my regular medication? ## This is a generic medication, so it is very common for it to be manufactured by several different companies, and whichever one your pharmacy carries may depend on what company is offering the cheapest price, at the time they need to restock their supply. This tablet is manufactured by Aurolife Pharma and they list it as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. How is it working for you? ## They are n...
Hello - I got my prescription refilled for Norco 539's, but I have always had the 853's with Watson on them. Some key differencws are the new ones are very chalky and can be broken easily while the 853's are much harder and break with a snap not a crumble. Also it's easy to scratch the norco 539 off of the face. Please let me know if anyone one has any experience with these and if they could be bad? Thanks ## How soft and crumbly a pill is depends on the inactive ingredients that the manufacturer has chosen to use. The FDA has a list of inactives which are classified under: generally considered as safe, and manufacturers can use whichever they wish from that list. These are ingredients that are considered safe for human consumption and to not have an effect on the effica...
whats the differance between norco 10/325 and uo3 10/325 white oval ## Hello, Danny! How are you? There is no different, they've just been manufactured by different companies. This is very common with generics, because it creates market competition to help keep prices down. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I picked up white Norco 10/325 yesterday and it's like taking a Tylenol. I took 2 pills and still nothing. My shoulder is injured with torn rotator cuff. I'm waiting for surgery. This sucks. I'm sick to my stomach. I feel like crap. What gives?? Last week I had ye...
I need 180 norco 10/325 a month to take for pain. How much does it cost to fill this prescription? ## I think the price depends on where you live? I saw one person got them for 33 cents. My Insurance covers mine. But there is a $1 charge on all the medication so $8. But the Pharmacist is so good that I would pay $5 prescription. The year I did hormone treatment for IVF I am male, it was over $35,000 thank goodness for insurance. ## Hi Regina, I think Jose is right about the price varying based on location. Not only that but the quality/presence of an insurance plan, the use of pharmacy coupons, patient assistance programs, etc, can all make a significant (night and day) difference in how much you pay. That said, if you are looking to save money and don't have insurance, MedsChat off...
I ate pizza about an hour before I took 3 Norcos. Right after I took the pills, I had to poop. I did, and then waited for the pain in my lower back to go away. Nothing. Did I poop them out? I'm thinking of taking a couple more, but I also know that when I don't wait a complete 4 hours, they have little affect. ## Approximately how long after taking the 3 Norcos did you have the bowel movement? It seems relatively unlikely that you would have removed the Hydrocodones via body waste in this certain situation. How long have you been taking 3 pills at a time? ## Hello, Kyle! How are you? No, unless you have diarrhea, which can cause stuff to move through your digestive tract too fast, then your fecal matter consists of whatever you ingested hours before, not what you ingested that c...
FOUND PILLS IN KIDS ROOM VICODINE M366on the pill dont know what the are need help ## pills oval with a number m366 on 1 side what are they ## It is generic Norco, a narcotic pain killer. If you found this in your kids room, you really need to do some questioning. Abuse of this drug can result in overdose and death. ## Tablets with the marking of M 366 are listed by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals as containing 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone, and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, drowsiness, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?
I was prescribed to take 1-2 Norco every 8 hours as needed for pain. How long should they last me before my next prescription? Thanks ## Hi Tee - would you happen to know how many tablets in total are in the prescription bottle? Based on what you have said so far, 1 tablet every 8 hours is 3 tablets per day. So, that's about 90 tablets per month. Could you write back with how many tablets are in the entire prescription? ## If you are taking 2 tablet every 8 hours, that is six tablets a day. Divide the number of tablets the prescription is for by the number of tablets you take a day. Or you can look on the information sheet from the pharmacy. It should have how many days the prescription should last. ## I just had surgery and the dr wrote me a prescription for 40 hydrocodone (taking ...
Hey guys, I recently had my script filled at my Walgreens and they switched to Par Pharmecuticals for my Norco 7.5/325 ( which I've been taking for years ) it's now a peach pill with a cursive v on one side and 36/05 on the other. Has anyone taken these before as I have never seen these in the past 7 years under my pain management "care." I have to take them for my Degenerative Disk Disease, slipped fusion, osteoarthritis all the way up my spine, narrowing disc space causing pinched nerves and a new herniated disk. I'm 36 and refuse to go back on fentanyl. Just wondering if these have caused problems with anyone. Thank you in advance for any reply! ## The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nause...
how strong is this one? ## The only tablet I can find with 533 on it, imprinted in black on a white pill is manufactured by Sun Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 200mgs of Tramadol, which is a mild opioid that is used to treat, or prevent pain. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, and constipation. Does this match the description of your pill?
I don't think my Norco is real. It does not feel like it is working and I am having w/d symptoms. It's small, white and round. The markings are RX 497. I've heard that fake pills are making it into the states from overseas and I think mine is fake. Has anyone else experienced this problem? ## Hello, JBT! How are you? This tablet is listed as containing 10mgs of Hydrocdone and 325mgs of Acetainophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Were you taking a different one, before? There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredients from one generic to another, so this one may be slightly lower than the prior one that you were tak...
Withdrawal from Norco just started and I took a couple to fix the pain. Will these withdrawal symptoms go away if I continue with my normal dosage? If not I'm screwed. ## Hello, Chuck! How are you? Yes, taking them should stop the withdrawal symptoms, though it likely won't be immediate, it may take a day, or so. The FDA lists the typical withdrawal symptoms as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. The best thing to do, if you want to stop taking them is to gradually reduce your dosage, by taking less each day and spacing your doses further apart. Your doctor can help you set up an appropriate tapering schedule for you. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Verwon thank you very much, I had ran out a bit early just due to a busy month. ...

My husband's medication is missing he has been taking 6 to 8 20mg of norco at a time for 8 years for small fiber peripheral neuropathy. We don't know what happened to his pills. They are just gone. He is left with his Lyrics and Fentenal patch. What kind if withdrawals is he looking at suffering through? His legs are jumping and has hardly slept. Not to mention the pain. How long will it last? ## Hi angela, Sorry to hear about your husband's situation with losing his pills. I can't imagine how that might feel after being on them for 8 years and suddenly not knowing where they are... Have you checked all the random places they could end up (i.e. jacket pockets, laundry room, under the car seat, etc..)? At any rate, regarding opiate withdrawals...NIH.gov notates the follow...

I need an oval yellow pill that resembles norco 10/325 to help cut my sons daily intake without him knowing it..something over the counter ## As much as I'd like to help, there really isn't anything that's going to resemble it enough, primarily because each pill has their own unique marking or imprint. Only a blind or drunk person would be fooled by such tactics anyway. If you think he's been abusing them for a while, odds are he has built up a pretty high tolerance and would need to taper off rather than go cold turkey from ingesting placebo pills. That could possibly send him into withdrawals and make matters worse. Has this been an ongoing issue with your son for a while? ## I need a over the counter pill that resembles a norco 10
Can you take Norco and a probiotic at the same time? Or do you have to wait an hour or so in between? ## There shouldn't be an issue, from what I know. The FDA warns that Norco carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. (NDC 0115-1559 for more details.) What probiotic are you taking? ## It’s called Bio-4 you take one with a meal or 2 with every meal. They are capsules.
Do these tablets contain the same ingredients, to where you can take 2 different halves of them together? ## Yes, they both contain 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. (Norco NDC code for more information 0023-6021) Is there anything else I can help with?

Can someone tell me what medicine they take for sciatic nerve, hip hurts and lower back. I already take norco but this not helping me. ## Hi Deborah, May I ask what treatment options you've already undergone? (i.e. surgery, acupuncture, natural alternatives, heat/ice treatment, chiropractic manipulation, massage therapy, light physical exercise (yoga), eating more plant-based foods etc). I would normally suggest taking advantage of those options before relying on prescription narcotics; mainly because things like yoga and natural alternatives can be done throughout your life without necessarily being dependent on your doctor. I hope this advice helps! ## What alleviates the pain can vary from person to person, so the only way to find out what works for you is by trying different med...
