Does anyone know of a compassionate doctor who will prescribe norcos in the Los Angeles area? I have a lower back issue that is inoperable (without consequences) and need them to just be a functioning adult again. ## If you have a serious pain issue and have x-rays, medical records and /or a MRI Dr. Benoush Zarrini is a great pain management doctor, who will work with you in your medications, make sure he knows exactly how much pain you are in!!!!! Stay away from the epidermals, unless you think they will help, he highly recommends them. I refuse and stick to my regiment of pain meds! P.S. don't use my name ## Need help finding a place to get a new MRI that is affordable and works with patients without health insurace.. My old MRI is from 2008 and my dr is finally pulling the trigge...

I took norco prescribed by my Dr for pain for kidney stones.. I'm on parole and take urine tests. I tested positive for morphine. Does anyone know anything about this? I've never taken morphine before, not even in a hospital. ## Help! I have been seeing my pm doc for a year and need to take a urine test at each monthly visit. Rx is Norco 10/325 every 6 hours. Hubby distributes meds. I have nrver had an issue until last month---by which I only found out yesterday. The pm doc said my levels were way off the charts. To say the least, I was dumbfounded. He wrote a lower dose and told me to come back in 2 weeks. At last month's visit I was highly dehydrated by regular meds and Benadryl I need to take for a weekly infusion. Sometimes I also need to take Beñadryl at a higher do...

I used to take Norco 10/325 for chronic pain by Watson, but Watson was bought out by Actavis. Wow, the difference in pain control went from 10 to zero. All Walgreens and CVS pharmacy's only carry Actavis, so I called around and finally found the generic that works even better than Watson's, and that's Mallinckrodt, at least for me. Most hospital pharmacies carry Mallinckrodt. Amneal, Qualitest and so many other manufacturers are absolute garbage! I have chronic pain from fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis in every joint in my body. I think those fake manufacturers of pain pills should be shut down. ## They aren't fake manufacturers, under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics are allowed to differ from the name brand, in the amount of the active ingredient, by as much as p...

is there a pharmacy in grandisland Nebraska that carries yellow Norco 10/325 ## I'm from g.i. been living in Lincoln the last 3 years. I have an upcoming surgery and Hastings next week and I've previously been on methadone which is a nightmare I'm still on the low dose of methadone so they're really going to have to adjust the pain meds for my surgery. Then I have an appointment with a new pain doctor 4 days later. I will let you know about that after I see the pain doc cuz he'll probably put me on tens or Dilaudid hang in there

White Watson 10/325 Norco is ineffective and did not show in my system! How did that happen??? I want my yellow Norco back. Anyone know who carries these nationally? ## Qualitest is the yellow one. The white ones do not work. ## Pharmacies vary on the generics they carry. They may carry one generic this week and not have it again for a few weeks, months or the rest of the year. You have to call right before you go and ask to speak to the Pharmacist. Ask the Pharmacist if they carry a particular generic brand. Be sure and tell the Pharmacist how many tablets your prescription is for and the mg. If you can't get this info over the phone, ask to speak to the Pharmacist Before you turn your prescription in. ## Is the (yellow 3601 V) Better then the White Watson ## @Brad, The overall con...

I've never seen one thats white? ## Hello, Ace! How are you? Sorry about the confusion, I'm happy to clear this up for you. Norco is manufactured by Watson Pharmaceuticals and they have been removing the dye from all of their products, due to the fact that some people were sensitive or allergic to them. Over the past few months, they've all been slowly changing to white tablets. Is there anything else I can help with? ## As congress did whatever they did 4 months ago, after many years of difficult pain management, a regimen that was productive at least as being independent, then generic 10/325 already with side effect issues from other pain medicine. After much work my needed to function Norco was approved. Thinking no more nausea, and house work can not be so dreaded, to ge...

I have been taking Norco 10/325 for quite a long time. I take 3 pills a day and i guess there is supposed to be a certain level in your urine. Yesterday my Dr accused me of taking way to many and wanted to know where i was getting my pills at and i was shocked and told him "you prescribe these to me" and he more or less called me a liar saying i am taking way more than he gives me. I dont understand why the levels are so high. Is there anything that can cause this to happen? Please help. ## According to NIH studies, this could happen due to dehydration, other medications you may be taking, and some dietary issues, or supplements. Are you on any other medications? Do you make sure to drink plenty of liquids? Has anything else changed in your diet, or exercise routine recently? Ho...

Just picked this up today at the pharmacy. I had surgery on my knee due to 3 tears. I was told I have arthritis as well. I'm in a lot of pain and this was recommend by my Dr. to take 3 times a day. How long does it take to work? Thank you. ## This is a topical cream/ointment, so it should start to have some effect within minutes of applying it, if it works for you. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including skin redness, irritation, and flaking. Have you tried it, yet? ## Re: gaba ketop lido 6 10 10 I haven't used it yet as the compound is being prepared at a lab. The info I've read here is very helpful. I have to discontinue my norco and use this. Anxious to get it. ## What does gaba (5%), keto (10%), lido cream help or do? My Dr prescribed it to me. I hav...

I went to er with pancreatitis and kidney stones, and I was sent home with a prescription for norco 5-325 mg 1-2 q8h. Does this mean I can take up to 2 every 8 hrs? I am concerned cause it would help but I'm 5'3 94.6 lbs. Is that a safe dose for my size? He says it is but i wanted a different opinion. ## Yes, that is what it means according to the prescription details you've provided. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Your height and weight have nothing to do with the dosage prescribed, it is based on your tolerance to opiates, and how much pain you are in. Have you started them, yet? How are you doing? ## yes thanks for your reply. They made...

I live in Modesto California I would like to know what pharmacies will dispense the yellow norcos 10 325 can someone help me please the white ones are not working as well as the yellow ones and I know it's just a big ol lie where they say they're not making the yellow ones no more I know they are can someone help please ## No, it is not a lie, the manufacturer stopped making them due to the problems that some people were having with the dye, such as allergic reactions, being sensitive to it, and etc. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. What are the markings on the white ones you are taking? ## Thanks for your help but I finally found a place that h...

I started out with pills and eventually led me to to the all mighty H that was laced with fentanly. All I want to know is if it's possible (because it happened almost 24 hours ago). If I'll go into immediate withdrawals again? ## Hello, Lost! How are you? What are you asking about? You didn't mention any particular drug, nor did you post this in any particular medication forum. Can you please post back and clarify, so I can help you? Thanks!!! ## I went through withdrawal from norcos for two months. I filled it at Walgreens and it just so happens that they are getting sued. At the same time I have several things wrong with my back and hip. I have reasons to take pain meds, not to feel high. I almost died. I prayed for Jesus to take me. I don't believe in suicide but if I...

Can someone please tell me a doctor in the area who will treat my chronic pain? i do not have insurance and can no longer work due to my physical problems, my pain dr is too expensive and to far away. I am trying to find someone close who may possibly give me refills on my norco until i get disability and insurance. PLEASE HELP ## Hi, rk! I understand your dilemma due to the distance and expense, but I have to be honest and say that for now, you're likely better off staying with the doctor you already have. Due to the fact that not having insurance makes it harder to track someone, most pain management specialists will not treat an uninsured person and many pharmacies will not fill such prescriptions for them. There is too big of chance that there person could be doctor and pharmacy...

All I need to know is how many norco 5's equal one 25mg fentanyl patch? I usually use fentanyl patches for my severe sciatica pain but I ran out and missed my regularly scheduled appt due to my husband having surgery. I do have a new appt but not for a week and I have norco 5's of mine I can take til then but I need to know how many will be close to the pain control I get from the patch. ## The Fentanyl is much, much stronger, so you aren't actually going to be able to take an equivalent dose of the Norco, especially since it also contains Acetaminophen. Taking too much of it in a day can be fatally toxic. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Ha...

I have just been cut off from my doctors for taking too many norco. I've been on them 20 years, have severe tmj and no way to fix it, i am now without anything and am really on the verge...... I need a doctor or if anyone knows anyone where i can get rid of the pain. I was laid up for 3 days with this problem, can someone help? please ## You should probably been on a extended release med, since your pain is chronic. Also, always consult your doctor if your doseage is not no longer working for you before taking more than prescribed. Norco is not a good med to be on for a long period of time due to the tynlenol. Bad for your liver. Besides all that, where do you live? Maybe we can find a doctor for you in your area/ state. Sorry your in pain. Donna ## I live in temecula and like i sai...

I live in Whittier CA and have been on Norco's since 2008. I have always had the yellow by qualitest and now they have vanished. CVS quit carrying them and went with a white oblong by Milkroft (or something like that) and they gave me the worst migraine!! Walgreens carries white Watson. I want to know where in Whittier CA, I can find the yellow's again?! When I try and explain to a pharmacist- they look at me like either I am crazy or a pill popping addict?!? Like really? Maybe it's the tattoo's? Simple minded ignorance just burns me. So I searched the net and found this site. Please help!! I can't take another month of crap that doesn't work or gives me a migraine. I have a spinal condition- always in pain. Please help if anyone has any idea which pharmacy I can...

Hi, my name is Chris I am raking Norco 10/325mg, baclofen 20mg, and gabapentin 600mg all which I take 4× a day. Now my doctor put me on soma 3× a day in place of the baclofen. My question is can I take soma with the gabapentin600mg and Norco 10/325mg. I'm taking them due to a car accident which left me a quadriplegic C5 incomplete SCI. My muscle spasms are uncontrollable I've broken ribs and had other injuries due to them. ## I take Gabapentin and Soma as well. I don't take the 3rd med you mentioned. I have not found any adverse side effects with the combination of Gabapentin and Soma. I would definitely determine how the soma affects you before driving or working. Normally, if I have to drive somewhere, I take the Soma after I arrive or 10 minutes before I arrive....

Plz what works? Been over 5 years. Just got ins. Again n all meds changed was on norco n had same issues that's why changed only take 3 a day. Just upped to 4 n now they're changing percocet. ## Hi Kelly, Sorry to hear about your troubles with the IP 204 generic APAP/Oxycodone by Amneal Pharma. The main problem I see with generics is that they never seem to be consistent in the way that brand name meds are. From what I understand, the quality cont...

I suffer from fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis and I need a family dr in Indianapolis (I live on the west side but I will travel to a different side of town) to prescribe my norco 7.5 and high dose neurotin ## I live in the Indpls area.
