I had a hair folicle drug test today for pre employment. I am prescribed 10/325 Norcos 5 times a day and 15mg MS Contin twice a day for lower back arthritis and muscle degeneration. About 2 months ago (June 17-21 or so) not thinking, I took probably a total of 7-8 5mg Percocet. I haven't used those prior, and none at all afterwards. They had to take from my arm pit since my hair is usually short. Would that still show up? If so how much of a presence will there be in it? I'm not sure how those tests work. If it does come back positive, is there a way I can talk my way out of it considering what else I take? Thanks in advance.

I have a question about my medication prescription, my dr had me on 240 10/325 generic Norco (hydrocodone) a month (1-2 every 4-6 hours max dose of 8) he recently needed to bump up the quantity to 270 (9 a day) but apparently my insurance only covers 240 a month. I was wondering if it was possible that the dr could write me the script for the 270 and the pharmacist charge my insurance for 240 of the prescription and charge me for the other 30 or if it all has to be charged to either insurance or me. I live in NY state, any info would be greatly appreciated! ## No, I don't think that will help. There is actually a limit on how much your pharmacy can give you each month and it doesn't matter if your doctor writes the prescription for more. There are government regulations that dic...

My doctor prescribed hydrocodon-acetaminophn 10-325 and CVS filled with generic NORCO. Above details on pills and just trying to confirm Norco. Also, I have found WATSON to be a better quality medicine than all the others. My doctor has no problem in adding WATSON to my scripts. But, CVS where I live does not carry WATSON Does anyone else feel the same about WATSON? ## Yes, the tablet you received does contain 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a generic for Norco. Learn more Norco details here. As to the Watson, if you're a regular customer, they should be able to order it in for you. The issue there, however, is that it will be more expensive than the one they currently carry, so you will pay a higher price, or if you have insurance, you'll have to pay the...

I took two 10)325 norkos two a day for bout 2 and a half weeks and i have a drug test in ten days. I dont take them all the time and im not sure if i have a fast matbelisum, but if i dont take any for the next ten days and drink water will i pass my ua? ## If you don't take any for that long of a time period, you should pass the test. The Hydrocodone in Norco is usually detectable in a standard urine test for approximately 4 to 5 days, after last dosing. There is now way, however, to give a precise time frame, because individuating factors will always play a role, such as your metabolism, overall health, activity levels, fluid intake and etc. Is there anything else I can help with? ## i took a norco at 8 oclock i have to take a drug test on the 5 th will it still be in my system

iam taking norco 10-325 and fentanyl patch 25 can i also take nsaid ## HI, Tom! How are you feeling? Do you have any other medical conditions? Before adding an NSAID, that type of information is necessary, because both it and the Acetaminophen can increase the risk of bleeding, which could be dangerous in relation to some health issues. Have you checked with your doctor?

what happens when you take more than 6 norco 5/325 mgs in 24 hours? im curiose if you can over dose? ## HI, Kaitlyn! How are you? Of course you can overdose. You can overdose on anything, if you take too much of it. But what many people don't know is that the biggest danger in these medications that combine a narcotic with Acetaminophen is the Acetaminophen. Long term use of it, especially in high doses, can cause liver damage or failure. Additionally, the reason you are cautioned not to exceed a certain number of tablets in 24 hours is because it can be fatally toxic, if you take too much of it in any 24 hour period. I thought the new laws stated only schedule TWO drugs required monthly visits to the dr? now im still being told even for norco u have to be seen every month..is this true or not? in florida. I hear of people saying u can have 3 refills on hydrocodone..now in florida they say i have to be seen every month an no refills. even at primary care drs is this true? ## Hi K, I'm not able to answer all of your questions, but as far as Norco's legal status in concerned, I'm finding information stating that it may be considered a schedule II drug (depending on the dosage). Other articles I've come across do verify that Norco is a Schedule II controlled substance in the United States because of its tendency to cause addiction and the ease with which it can be abused. However, accord...

how much does it cost for a script of 120 10/325 norcos without insurance? ## 100.00 for180 generic ## @chevy, To my understanding, the price is going to be somewhat different depending on your location, whether or not you use any discount cards or have a specific type of insurance that help you pay for your medication, etc. From what I could gather, most pharmacies in my location charge anywhere from $260 to $275 for a script of 120 (10mg/325mg) Norco brand tablets. The generics are of course much cheaper, and reflect less than a quarter of that price for 120 tablets. But I'd imagine the price will be different in other locations. I hope this helps!

If I'm taking Norco 10/325 mg how many pills can be taken in a 24 hour period? ## everywhat the doseage, the Dr. recommends, if you need a increase speak with him about it ## To add some specifics… It is actually the Acetaminophen in these that causes most of the problems related to overdose toxicity, rather than the narcotic Hydrocodone. It isn't safe to exceed 4,000mgs a day, taking more than that may be fatal and, even if you don't suffer fatal effects, you could cause severe liver damage, or go into liver failure. It is often thought to be extremely safe, since it's available over the counter in most countries, but Acetaminophen can actually be a very dangerous substance if used improperly. a nurse toldf me that where I live, in Chicago, there clinics where doctors simply dispense whatever you ask for ## It has been known to happen, but such occurrences are the reason that the government has made so many crackdowns on prescription drug laws. I don't know of any place that still does this, most have been shut down. They were usually called 'Pill Mills'. If you require medications to treat chronic pain, your best and safest bet is to see a pain management specialist that can help you. Are there any other questions or comments?

QI am looking for a good mild/moderate narcotic for break through pain . I am allready on hydro/norco 10/325 and it only las about 3-4 hours and thenn wears off. Any sugestions. Three bad dis in neck and fibromyagia with severe migranies i think being put out of me out misery would be better lol. ## Hi vonda, Based on your description, I get the sense that you may want to ask your doctor about trying an extended release pain medication, for something that lasts a lot longer than 3-4 hours. A few different options in that category are: AVINZA capsules are a modified-release formulation of morphine sulfate indicated for once daily administration for the relief of moderate to severe MS CONTIN (another variation of morphine sulfate) is an opioid agonist product indicated for the management ...

Three bad dis in neck and fibromyagia with severe migranies i think being put out of me out misery would be better lol. ## Hi Vonda, I'm sorry to hear about what you're going through. I personally don't have much experience with narcotic pain medications, but it sounds like you may want to speak with your doctor about trying an extended release narcotic pain medication such as Opana ER (ER stands for extended release), Oxycontin, or Morphine ER. Also, I do know from personal experience that exercise can really benefit those with fibromyalgia. My father has fibromyalgia and whenever he starts back on ...
