Does anyone know what a good replacement for vicodone since they took it off the market? My dr. put me on norco 7.5-325. These are a joke. I have to take 2-3 tabs when I was taking 1 tab.I am really screwed since I am allergic to codene, morphene, and most things that get me out of pain. I am on fentenal patch, but this replacement doesn;t make any sence. If I have to take 3 times the dosage I'm taking 3 times the acetaminophen. I was on percocet but now my insurance charges 3x the amount it used to cost, so thats not affordable. Any suggestions? Thanks ## Vicodin is still on the market, it an Norco actually contain the same active ingredients, Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen. Learn more Vicodin details here. All of these combination medications are being changed, however, to contain ...

My mother in law doctor retired and wrote her a script for a 30 day supply of 80 oc's and she can not get in to see her new doctor till july, she has a print out of six months showing that she has been on the meds, where in the Knoxville area is a doctor who will see her on short notice and refill her script for 30 days till she see's her new doctor? I can not bear to see her go thru withdraw ## It is going to be very hard to find a doctor to prescribe them as just a one time thing, with her not being their regular patient. It is highly possible that her new doctor won't want to prescribe them, regardless of the medical records she has. Does anyone have any ideas? ## Does anyone know of any physicians or pain clinics in south orange county that will Prescribe opiates (norco,...

I have been taking this for almost 2 years. I started because of a major back injury in October 2010-my twin daughters were almost a year old, and have since discovered acupuncture-which is wonderful! I want to stop taking the Norco(I was prescribed 10 mg 4 times daily and took it all up until about 4 months ago when I began cutting it down to 3 a day). At the birth date of my girls I weighed 213-I had gained only 50 pounds, after I got hurt and started taking the Norco, I slowly gained weight until I was up to 218 lbs a couple of months ago. Now I weigh 205 after having started the acupuncture and changing my diet. I feel slovenly and like I am a slave to this drug-physically speaking. I still have major pain but am just sick of taking these things. I want to get off of these pills and...

I have chronic pain from fibromyalgia, inflammatory arthritis, and bulging discs in my back. So far the doctors havent been able to do much to help with the various treatments that they are having me undergo. I had a medial branch block done last week, which is basically going in and numbing your nerves and it is supposed to make your pain go away for about six hours, if it works they go in and fry the nerve endings in the same area. Problem is since the initial procedure my pain went from a normal 5 to 6 to a regular 7 to 8 and that is if I dont do anything at all. My regular doctor was prescribing Norco 5/325 for me but now that I am associated with the pain center, she would like me to see them for everything from here on out. My goal is to find a treatment method that doesnt require...

Just l'd like to know which pill is stronger the yellow 10-325 or the white 10-325mg norco or hydrocodone. ## I'm sure you realize that both have the same active ingredients, and both are the same strength, so you are (in theory) not supposed to be able to tell a difference. However, as a matter of personal preference, I tend to find the yellow ones have a slight higher absorption rate, which has to do a lot with what you're eating before/after taking them, and a little to do with the difference in fillers. If given a choice, I would choose the yellow ones...but you likely won't see a marked difference either way. ## There can be slight fluctuations from one generic to another. It isn't a noticeable difference for most people, but some are sensitive to even the sligh...

I suffered a Severe Traumatic Brain Injury about 2 years ago. I continue to have severe headaches. Every single day. A permanent headache My neuro says that with my kind of injury this is not uncommon. This is not a "migraine". Closest to a "cluster headache". Without medication, it just keeps getting worse - feels like a brain freeze. Anyway,. I have been taking 10/325 Norco for a little over a year now. I started at 2 per day, that worked pretty good, then I started having to take 3 per day to be somewhat pain free. Now, that doesn't do it most days. I guess I'm building a tolerance. I don't want to take 4 per day. Where does this lead? How long before that doesn't work? Does anyone have or know of someone who has this or a similar issue? What worked? A...

how long to get out of system ## Hi Tom, The length of time any drug stays in your system is going to be dependent upon several factors, including the dosage taken, the duration you've been taking it for, your age, weight, diet, whether or not you're taking anything else with it, etc. This is all information your doctor should have on file, but if you're to ask a strangers opinion, all I can do is simply go off of the half life of the drug. On average, it might take from 3-4 days for the Norco to work its way out of your system. To speed things up, be sure to drink plenty of fluids and eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. I hope this helps!

how many days does it take to get norco 10mg out of system if you dont take regularly. ## If you're speaking with regards to a urine analyses, it can generally only be detected for up to 3-4 days after your last dose. I'd imagine a little more or less than that depending on how often you use it. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone I hope this helps!

I have been on norco 10/325 4x a day since I was 20. After I had my first baby my back has been downhill. With car accidents a couple of falls and I'm a dental assistan so imagine the constant movement of that area. Omgeez!! My ? Is if anyone knows of any pm doctors that won't make me feel bad about being in constant pain. I have a great neurologist but I'm moving and won't have much time to travel. Thx all :) stay sunny and out of pain. ## Have you tried asking your neurologist to refer you to someone? That could be your best bet for finding one that will understand your condition and not be uptight and worried about your requiring pain medications. Otherwise, you'll likely get more responses if you can post back with your general location. California is pretty big....

My doctor gave me norco 10/81 is it as stonge or stronger than norco 10/325? ## Based on my research there is no such thing as "norco 10/81". However it if really does exist, then it would essentially be weaker than 10/325 (hence 325 is larger number than 81). I live in Anaheim, CA and I am looking for a doctor who is willing to prescribe pain medication like Norco. I have chronic pain from migraines, a back injury and sinus problems. My new doc is with Kaiser and is not willing to prescirbe them regularly due to all the laws and regulations. I need someone who will give me a normal monthly supply. ## Have you tried just looking into a pain management doctor or clinic? Such a place usually has a better idea of what should be prescribed for such conditions and is used to dealing with the government regulations that they have to worry about. And a few important tips: 1) Make sure to take all of your medical records or have them sent to the new doctor. This will give them a better idea of your condition and will help avoid your having to have ma...

what is the difference between m 366 oval and white and the 10/36 tellow oval ## I know the yellow oval is commonly refereed to as a norco and that the white oval is a vicodin. Why the difference and is one more powerful when were talking about pain relief. Also if Tylenol is taken in addition to either of these pain killers is the ability to kill pain enhanced . thanks rick ## The tablet with the M 366 marking contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The tablet with the 3601 V marking contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. So, the latter is stronger, because it has more of the narcotic ingredient.
