Vicodone Replacement

Does anyone know what a good replacement for vicodone since they took it off the market? My dr. put me on norco 7.5-325. These are a joke. I have to take 2-3 tabs when I was taking 1 tab.I am really screwed since I am allergic to codene, morphene, and most things that get me out of pain. I am on fentenal patch, but this replacement doesn;t make any sence. If I have to take 3 times the dosage I'm taking 3 times the acetaminophen. I was on percocet but now my insurance charges 3x the amount it used to cost, so thats not affordable. Any suggestions? Thanks

Vicodin is still on the market, it an Norco actually contain the same active ingredients, Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen.

All of these combination medications are being changed, however, to contain no more than 325mgs per dose, so the higher amounts of Acetaminophen will no longer be available after January of 2014.

Have you tried something without the Acetaminophen?

Such as just straight Oxycodone?
