I don't have insurance yet and I need to find a doc who takes cash or Medicaid and is understanding. I will travel if need be. ## Hello, Kitty! How are you? Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, if you require such medications on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see specialists. So, you're most likely going to have to establish a relationship with a new PCP and then have them refer you to someone else. Both of these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, irritability and headache. The days of an understanding doctor that you can just walk into and have write ...

are v 3604 and m357's the same pill just diff look and markings? ## Hello, Roach! How are you? No, while they both contain 5mgs of Hydrocodone, the amounts of Acetaminophen are different. The tablet with the 3604 V marking only contains 325mgs of it, while the M 357 tablet contains 500mgs of it and is no longer available. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
The chemnical formala for the opiate is different in vicodin and Norco C18H21No3.C4H6B6.21/2H2O In Vicodin it is C18H21No3.C4H6Q6.21/2H2O B6 versus Q6 ## Hello, Ben! How are you? Neither of them contains Codeine, they contain Hydrocodone and the formulaic difference is due to the specific chemical salt used to create the opiate. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I'm trying to find a pharmacy that carries Qualitest Norco 10/325. I'll go to Fort Myers as well. Anyone know of a place? ## Hello, Kat! How are you? Due to the recent changes that required all of these combination medications to be lowered to now more than 325mgs per dose, many of them are hard to find right now, because the demand for these doses has exceeded the current supply and trying to find one from a specific manufacturer further complicates matters. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Do you have a problem with the ones manufactured by other companies?
I was taking 7.5 mg Lortab for 12 yrs. My Dr.switched me to Norco when the Lortab was discontinued. I can not tolerate the Norco. It does not feel as smooth with my back pain. Also my blood pressure shot way to high and it is hard to describe but it makes me feel like I have been eating rust. Could the differance be the filler used in the Norco? Also I took Vicodin with no problem. ## Hi Martha, u may not b able 2 take the narco. It just might b giving u side effects. If I were u , I would definitely talk 2 your Doctor, right away . ## @Martha, It is very possible that changes in inactive ingredients could be what's causing the side effects you didn't experience with Lortab. If you happen to know the imprint from both pills (including the previous Lortab), I'd be more than h...
Hey folks-lets put a stop to this ripoff before the yellow Norcos go away forever. If we don't let the FDA know how weak these are, then they will assume we like the white ones. And, if you know Norco, you know that's not possible. Let's call them and complain. They need to start an investigation on this company. They removed way more then the dye and they know it. So, why does our goverment buy them? The drug needs to be fixed and the ceo and the lab team needs to be fired! Lets call the FDA today-make your voice heard before we end up in the grocery stores looking for liver killing Tyleno to kill chronic pain as well as whats left of our livers - fda.gov/Safety/ReportaProblem/ConsumerComplaintCoordinators/default.htm
UpdatedI am scheduled to take 1, 3 times a day. they are orange (light) a V on one side, scored and say on the back; 36 score mark 05. I have taken as many as 4 at one time w/o getting relief, but do feel there is a small amount in them, just to keep from withdrawal. ## In addition, I got this RX from the hospital pharmacy, no independent parties were involved. Are these places more likely to get less potent or fake tablets? or was there misuse of the main ingredients in the manufacturing process? ## Most likely it's just that the medication doesn't work well for you for pain. Not everything works for everyone that tries it, which is why there are usually multiple options to try in any therapeutic medication category. Additionally, if you've taken it before, your body may have buil...
I have rapidly failing health, Graves Disease, Hyperthyroidism, low blood pressure which causes me to faint often, severe back and neck pain, from an accident in 2010, when I rolled my car 4 times... This is when my migraines became nearly unbearable to the point of vomiting from the pain. My health, and broken body prevent me from being able to work, and I'm only 39 years old! I have a sweet little toddler, turns 2 in August, and it seems that since my pregnancy my health started as a snowball, now I have an avalanche burying me. Can someone please tell me how, if possible, to start pain management with Norco 1000 mg's? Need help, can't eat, sleep, drive, exercise - I am in too much pain to participate in my own life. It's heartbreaking. ## Hello, Karen! How are you? Th...
I use Walgreen's. My pain med, Norco 10/325 is given to me with 2 refills, for a total of 3. I go to my Dr. every 3 mos. Unless I get sick between visits. I have noticed that on numerous occasions my Rx number on the refills do not match the original Rx number. Why? I should never have a prescription for this expire, but have seen many that have expired when I checked online. Somehow along the way, due to the appointment scheduling, I would have one refill left when I went to the Dr. At my 3 mos. Appt. When I would pick it up, I would give them the new script and tell them to put it on hold so I would only have to call instead of making a trip to take it and another to pick it up. The 6 no. Time limit was intact and all the refills on the one on hold would be gotten before the 6 min...
My hhusband is getting a job as a truck driver and has been needing a pain killer for severe adhesions. He was taking Norco, but the business wants all opium based painkellers out of his systems before he can be hired. He is still cramping and now his legs hurt. The adhesions have been something from many surgeries and con not be corrected by surgery. Is there another painkiller available with out opium or meth in them for him to take to relieve his cramping from the adhesions? He weaned himself off a transdermal patch and oxycodone but was just taking the norco. ## Regarding your husband's chronic pain, I'm wondering if he's tried Neurontin (gabapentin) as an adjunct? And, he may have some over-arching rights, vis-a-vis, using narcotic analgesics while working. There might ...
I'm getting the headaches too. Started taking them after I broke my leg. Mine are white oval with red speckles. Big V on one side, 3604 on the other. ## The drug is a generic form of Norco 5/325. It contains 5mg hydrocodone and 325mg of Tylenol. It is also classified as a schedule 3 controlled substance with abuse potential. ## Hi Curt, Sorry to hear about your recent challenges with this medication. According to the MayoClinic, headaches are actually listed as a general side effect of Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone. However, if you find that the symptoms are becoming too bothersome or severe, it may just be best to talk with your doctor about trying some other alternatives for pain relief. To my understanding, side effects like this usually don't go away until you stop taking what...

UpdatedHow long do they still in your body ## Because that answer depends on so many underlying factors (i.e weight, age, metabolism, diet, etc), the best you can do is go off an estimated guess on when it'll be out of your body. In many cases I've read about on here, it seems to pretty much go unnoticed on drug panels after 3 to 7 days of not having anything at all. On the contrary, some diagnostics can still find it in your hair follicles for up to 90 days. But if this isn't a concern to you then I wouldn't sweat the time frame at all. Have long have you been taking them for?
living in muskegon mi in need of a dr who will prescribe Norco 10 for degenerative disk disease and scoliosis my dr doesnt believe in narcotics for pain relief and i need to find work asap, please help me with some names and numbers of Dr.s accepting new patients. ## Hello, Liz! How are you? Unfortunately, there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. If you require such medications on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a specialists. Is there a chance your current doctor could refer you to someone? That would most likely be the easiest to find the help you need. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mou...
I think I may have failed a drug screen for pain Dr. I had quit smoking weed a 28 days before the appts, my first appt and I quit the day I made appt. For the previous 2 months before I quit completely I only smoked a cpl puffs cpl days a week. Prior to that, so 77 days before, I smoked not a lot at a time but daily. I am on norco a half 3x day, 10mg cyclobenzaprine 3x day, and also take tylenol pm 1 500mg a night, and excedrin migraine as needed. I am wondering what possibly showed up on the test? I have a 'work in' appt in 4 days and nurse sed she didn't know why but dr sed Im to come in. I am assuming because something was off with the urine sample I gave. I wasn't told I would have to give a urine sample so when I gave it there was only 10ml in urine. So know clue y ...
Updatednorco 539 imprint. The 539 is slightly different than the imprint on the available picture of this product. Could it be counterfeit? The color is a darker yellow but I think that's ok. ## When you order from a foreign country, you always run the risk of getting counterfeit products, so yes, that is a possibility. However, some variations in the color and imprint are normal and do happen just through the normal manufacturing process. Norco contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a narcotic pain reliever. Is anyone else familiar with these pills? ## Just as a follow -up on my NORCO 539 imprint inquiry...if the pill is NOT licenced to be made by WATSON how can one verify the ingredients? I guess chemical analysis but that is expensive. Any ideas? ## Verwon real...
I have to take a drug test in four days at MEPS I took norco for three days in a row, I'm worried that I won't pass, I have a prescription for them but I was told not to even mention this bc I don't take them regularly. Should I just try and reschedule MEPS until next wk or do you think I should be fine. Also what should I do to help flush my system if need be, besides drinking water. Thank you.
