I Need A Non Opium/meth Based Pain Painkiller

My hhusband is getting a job as a truck driver and has been needing a pain killer for severe adhesions. He was taking Norco, but the business wants all opium based painkellers out of his systems before he can be hired. He is still cramping and now his legs hurt. The adhesions have been something from many surgeries and con not be corrected by surgery. Is there another painkiller available with out opium or meth in them for him to take to relieve his cramping from the adhesions? He weaned himself off a transdermal patch and oxycodone but was just taking the norco.

Regarding your husband's chronic pain, I'm wondering if he's tried Neurontin (gabapentin) as an adjunct? And, he may have some over-arching rights, vis-a-vis, using narcotic analgesics while working. There might be some legal challenges whereby this employment stipulation might be unconstitutional.

Years ago, there was a renowned surgeon at Johns Hopkins who was addicted to morphine, yet sustained a viable practice. It's a true story.

you can not take narcotics while driving a truck it is a fed dot law.. period.. there are random drug screens.. also an nuronton would probabaly also be not allowed as it causes drowsyness.. it is best you speak to a doctor or pharmacy proff..
