How are you? Both of these tablets contain 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, they have just been manufactured by different companies. When a medication is available as a generic, it is very common for it to be made by several manufacturers, this creates market competition to help keep prices lower. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Yes do is there any difference between the two. Is the yellow ones better or the white ones just as strong ## No, as I said, they are t...
I been on the half moon ones and was just put on the orange 54 375 ones and they work the same I don't got a problem with them its all in your head if u think that they don't work as well its same formula as all other subs ## Hi James, Glad to hear that this is working well for you despite switching manufacturers, as not everyone seems to be so lucky in that regard. Just wanted to mention on behalf of anyone else that may be noticing differences felt between different manufacturers, is that these inconsistencies are typically caused by the variations of "inactive" ingredients more so than anything else; at least according to what I've been reading up on. Apparently there are certain binders/fillers that these companies use which cannot be fully metabolized by our bod...
My pharmacy is a Ma and Pa's that I've been going to for over seven years now.. They don't have very much business so they have a lot of medications still on the shelves that they no longer sold do to the change in the dosage of the Acetephtme in Vicodin ... this month they gave me the generic form of my Norco's 7.5/325, by AUROBINDO pharmaceuticals. normally I get the yellow norcos and will ask the pharmacist to make sure to give me those ones due to my sensitivity of the new off-the-wall generic meds that give me withdrawal symptoms and migraines and on the toilet constantly!! The pharmacist told me that I was ""hypersensitive"" to the non inactive ingredients... such is the glue that holds the medicine together... but at the time he did not have my nor...
Is a norco 365 stronger then a vicodin 357 and why ## Based on my research, Norco M365 is "weaker" than Vicodin M357. It's simply a matter of each pill containing a different dosage of Acetaminophen. Norco M365 contains: Acetaminophen (325 mg) + Hydrocodone bitartrate (5 mg). Vicodin M357 contains: Acetaminophen (500 mg) + Hydrocodone bitartrate (5 mg). Learn More: Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone If you have any more questions or concerns, please post back and I will be happy to help you. ## Is m365 stronger than m360 in vicodin ? ## I had a doctor prescribe the 5-300 Vicodin, and not only did it cost a whole lot more ($68 for 60 when 120 Norco cost $44), but in didn't work as well as the Norco.
I have been taking Norco 10 mg for about a year now. My job is very strenuous and Im on my feet 12 hours a day (im a food caterer at a hospital). The Norcos just dont seem to be working anymore. I go to a pain management dr here in omaha. Im prescribed 30 a month and have never went over that amount. I recently fell on the hip that I have arthritis in and the pain is still there after 3 weeks. Is it appropriare for me to ask the dr for something else for pain. Im 60 and i know its tougher the older a person gets but i have to work and my job has insurance so its hard for me to quit and find an easier job with insurance. I know age isnt suppose to hold you back in getting a job but believe me, it does. ## karen, you may need to have your hip xrayed ? You can ask your Pain dr about more m...
I've been on norco 7.5/325 for 3 yrs now for chronic pain d/t a nerve entrapment. These new laws are going to make it so difficult to get my medication and in the amount monthly that I was getting. So its looking like I'm going to have to deal with the pain (not sure I can but not sure what else to do,unless I just make myself pain free for good). I've been getting prescribed #180/ month and now I'm being told by my PCP that they can only write for 60/ month. It looks like I'm gonna be heading down withdrawal lane and I'm terrified. I hate all of this so much! My life sucks having this pain and not feeling like myself anymore. Im too young for this! But does anyone have any suggestions on how to make withdrawal easier? ## Why don't you go to a doc that will g...
On house arrest, have taken urine test Wkly n bi Wkly with no problems for over a year. They have accused me of having high amount of codeine in urine. I am prescribed norco, neurontin, treximet, serequil, and have not taken codeine prescribed or not. How can this be? They will not do DNA as I requested.
UpdatedIm from mi recently moved to corbin ky. I have chronic pain due to nerve damage. My leg and foot goes numb for sometimes weeks at a time. My back often goes out on me and i cant move and my broken tailbone makes it hard for me to sit comfortably. Ive had mri and xrays ive been on 3 norco 10s for eight years so my tolerance to pain meds are high. I havent had my meds in over a month and i spend a lot of my time in bed in chronic pain and very depressed because i cant do things i want with my three children. Does anyone know of a good doctor that will help me with my pain management in corbin, london or surrounding area that will gimme medication that will work? I recently went to what i thought was a doctor. Ended up being a nurse practitioner that can not ptescribe controls, didnt even l...
i am taking 2 norco a day for severe back pain my pain doc told me i can not drink any alcohol at all but i like to have 1 glass of wine before bedtime why is this a problem ## Hello, Jean! How are you? First, the alcohol can intensify the side effects of the narcotic, so you may experience more nausea, dizziness and drowsiness than normal. Basically one drink can affect you as if you'd had 2 and so on. Second, the both can cause depression of the central nervous system, which could put you in danger due to dangerously lowered heart rate, blood pressure and shallow breathing. Is there anything else I can help with?
I found round white pills n a prescription bottle for lorcet generic for norco but there are no writing or imprints on them ## All prescription drugs sold in the U.S. have to have an imprint. ## @Sassy, BL is correct - all prescriptions in the US have to have an imprint by law to identify the substance, dosage, and manufacturer. If you found something unmarked, I would have to assume that it's probably an over-the-counter medication, supplement, illicit, or perhaps a medication that was brought back from overseas. That leaves a large gap as to what it may be with all the possibilities. Was this found in your own prescription bottle or someone else's? I honestly doubt it's norco (at least legitimate norco), but if you have the money you could also send it in to a lab for veri...
My daughter took a lot of Norco 10/325. Will it kill or sedate her? ## Hello, Sasha! How is your daughter? How much is a lot? If someone takes more of something than has been prescribed for them, you should contact poison control or seek medical treatment immediately. The real worry with this medication is the Acetaminophen that's in it. It can be toxic in amounts exceeding 1,000mgs per dose and over 3,000mgs daily. It may cause liver damage, liver failure and could be fatal. This medication also carries the risk of being habit forming. ## I am totally in the dark here. My doctor just prescribed me the Norco and I thought the entire reason for taking Lortab off the market was because of the acetaminophen??? Confused???
Ive been getting hydrocodone from my dr for 5 yrs. Can she refill it one week early? its written for 2 per day but recently had some issues she is aware of that caused more pain so am now out ## Hello, Chele! How are you? She'd have to write a new prescription for you changing the dosage. It won't be able to be filled early the current way that it's written. This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, constipation and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?
I have chronic back pain that, because of my age (I'm 20), no doctor will prescribe me medication for. I've been taking between 1/2 and 2 Norco a day from a friend who takes pity on me depending on how much I hurt for a few months now. I've got no addiction, I don't take any if I'm out and about or doing something other than being sore around the house. I can easily stop and I plan to as soon as I'm called in for an interview. The reason I haven't as of now is, obviously, because I AM in pain and no one has been interested in hiring me thus far. My question is how long should it take for my system to be clean? I've seen 1-6 days but I'd like to know in my specific case if anyone has a clearer estimate. Thanks. ## For a urine drug test it will take abo...
I had seven yellow norcos in a bag and left them in the pocket of my pants... put the pants in washer for a few min. They are still yellow an only desolved a lil. Will they still work??? ## From your description, I would probably encourage you to toss them for one good reason; and that's because you probably don't want to ingest any residue from whatever laundry detergent you used at the time. If it were not for that, IMHO, they might've still been fine to take, but may be noticeably less potent from having been partially dissolved. I hope this helps!
I live in San Diego cal my doc has cut me back so much I'm always in pain don't feel good... in the last 4 months he has cut me back 30 of my 30mg oxy & 90 of my norcos... can any one help my out I have a disk in plant in my l4/l5 don't no what to do all I've been hearing is how its hard to get a doc to write for such high doses..at one time I was at 180 of the 30 oxyc &180 norco ..next month he wants to drop me 30 more of my oxy I can't do it.... ## Hello, Brittany! How are you? I'm very sorry about what you're going through. However, your doctor no longer has a choice in the matter. Due to new regulations that were put in place last year, there are limits on how much of anything they can prescribe for you. The only exceptions are for those suffering...
My pcp prescribed norco for me until I can see a surgeon for cervical spine pain. He initially gave me a script for 30 with one refill and I was to take one a day. This wasn't enough for the pain, so he called in another script for 25 and wrote it to take one every 6 hours. I refilled the 30 script on the 5th and the pharmacy won't refill the script for 25 today the 15th. Is there any way to get this filled ? ## I would suggest contacting your doctor, it would seem that the pharmacy hasn't noted the dosage change. If they had, there shouldn't be a problem filling it for you. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can h...
My pain doctor just informed me that he can longer offer refills on my norco because of it being classed as a schedule 2 drug norcotic now. That means i must go every month now and pay for an office visit. I know that is true in New York but i am not aware of any changes in Alabama law. As I do not have insurance now that would be a huge added expense to me. It would be a big added expensive even if I did with a $60 copay. Does anyone know of this change in legislation that I cant find? ## Craig, some doctors, as they can't write refills, write 3 additional original prescriptions with them dated for the next three months. They can't be filled until that date arrives. You only have to pay the office visit every three to four months. Check with your pain doctor, he may be able to ...
Generic Norco don't work near as good as the name brand can I get help paying for the brand name my insurance won't cover it and I suffer from chronic neck and back pain neuropathy also ## Hello, Zachary! How are you? I am very sorry that you're in pain. Unfortunately, no. There are no assistance programs currently available for this, since it is available as a generic, as well as the name brand. The best suggestion I have is to speak to your doctor about the issue, they may be able to prescribe an alternative medication that would work better for you. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
Looking for a dr that will prescribe norcos or something similar near st clairsville oh. Just moved here and need to find a dr before I run out. ## You need to hurry. Norco becomes a Schedule II Oct 6. 2014. Some drs that prescribed it now as a Schedule III, won't be any longer. There will be no refills, it won't be able to be called in & you must see your dr at least once every 90 days. ## Ok thanks

When I got back there they said I tested positive for oxy and Pcp ?!!!?? NEVER IN MY LIFE . I was prescribed Norco 10mg and flexerill ,Savella. I have Lupus , fibro, masses, among other problems. Now I am not sleeping and don't know what to do. Can anyone help me in telling me what to do. I don't know if i can go to another or even where to begin to find another doctor.
