I can't check for any possible interactions or problems, without knowing more specifics. Norco is a classified by the FDA as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. They aren't really necessary, your body does detoxify itself and none of them actually do everything they claim.
Hi! My friend asked me to help her identify a pill...pinkish, coated, shiny elongated oval pill. Says 500 on the unscored side, other side has a G before the score, and then 32 following the score. She says it is shaped like Norco but is a bit smaller. Thank you for your time and attention! ## Hello, Bensma! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Glenmark Generics and they list it as containing 500mgs of Naproxen. The FDA classifies this medication as being a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank you for your prompt and informative reply! It is very much appreciated. ## You are very welcome! Ha...

The maximum dosage available of it contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325ms of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies these medications as being narcotic analgesics. They carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Are there any markings on the one you were taking so I can double check the dosage for you? Thanks! ## yes there is markings they are as fallows yellow in color, oval shaped marked one side with a "v" the other with the numbers 36 01 ## Thank you, Mudd! I've been taking 7.5/325 norco for years now for chronic pain. The last couple of months, its been hard to get my scripts filled. Someone said the fda changed the dosage to 7.5/300.....which is correct? ## Hello, Bonnie! How are you? No, they have made no recent changes, the ones with 325mgs of Acetaminophen are the standard dose. However, fewer companies are manufacturing it, now, which may create a shortage in some areas. The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## The correct norco strength ## Thank you so much for the info.....I have been taking it since 2003... (4 shoulder surgeries...
I have been on norco for 3 years. I take up to 5, 10/325 mg tablets. I have recently found out I have an inflammed pancreas. Also, in the past I have had kidney problems. I also take lots of other medications, and I am concerned about my liver, and inflammed pancreas. I want to take an opiate pain killer without acetaminophen, ibprofen, and naproxen because they are bad for your liver. How do I get a drug like that? Why do they put those other otc meds in the pain killer, when it hurts your liver/ ## Hello, Saree! How are you? The Acetaminophen and NSAIDs tend to augment the action of the narcotic in some people, so they often get better pain relief from a lower dose of the narcotic. However, there are many available that do not contain any of them, such as Zohydro, Oxycontin, Roxicodon...
my doc told me he was giving me norcos but the bottle says generic for lortab white oblong IP109. so is it a Norco or lortab? ## Hello! How are you? I'm sorry about the confusion, but I'm happy to clear it up for you! Norco and Lortab are both name brands for a medication that contains Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen, so it it really doesn't matter which one your pharmacy lists on the label, they have still provided you with the correct medication. The tablet you've received is manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen (NDC 53746-109). Inactive Ingredients: - Crospovidone - Povidone - Starch, Corn - Stearic Acid The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potent...

The FDA classifies this medication as being a This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. What is the pain killing strength of a norco M 355 ## Hi Debbie, Just to clarify a couple of things - M 355 is actually reported to be a 100mg Diclofenac sodium extended-release tablet, made by Mylan Pharmaceuticals. It has no apparent relation to Norco other than the fact that it can also be used for pain relief; just not nearly as strong in my opinion. In terms of "pain killing strength", drug monographs describe Diclofenac as being used to relieve mild to moderate pain, whereas Norco is described as being used to relieve moderate to severe pain. I hope this helps!
I went to my pain doctor a few days ago and for about four days now I have been going from pharmacy to pharmacy trying to fill my norco 10/325. I live in Tampa fl 33616, 33611 and even if I have to go out of my way a little bit I'm willing to. can someone just give me any idea what pharmacy has them please.
UpdatedARE THEY GONNA PULL LICENSES FOR THOSE ON NORCO FOR PAIN IN THE FUTURE OR WHAT OR ARE THEY GONNA PUT A MEDICAL RESTRICTION??? ## Hello, Denise! How are you? No, licenses aren't generally suspended, just because someone is taking any particular medication. They are usually just informed not to drive while under the influence of the medication, when they may be filling dizzy and drowsy. However, if you do drive, while taking it and get pulled over or have an accident, it can be considered a DUI. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. But licenses aren't suspended for people that take much stronger opiates, such as Fentanyl....
Just an FYI. I woke up in the hospital on a respirator after my teenage son found me. This was not intentional. I developed pneumonia. Oh! I woke up deaf. I couldn't hear for two days. My kidneys failed and I was on dialysis for 8 weeks. My overall hospital stay was almost four weeks. My family noticed a marked difference in my personality. Two years later I'm finally more like myself. I still take my pain meds, I developed an allergy to ambien and was told to never take any kind of anti inflammatory again! IMO most OD's are combos. I have what the street calls the trinity. Hydro, sometimes Oxy, muscle relaxers, and two different benzo's. Scares me that one day my body will say, "Nope, no more" and I will wake up in the hospital again or die. My back pain is debi...
I am prescribed norco and oxycotin 80mg i have not taken the oxys in a couple of days but i have to take a drug test to get my next prescription will they beable to tell that i haven't had the theraputic levels of the oxy even though im taking the norco ## It depends on your Body Mass Index (BMI), in combination with your cardio work you do. 4-5 days is one estimate I've been told, but once I heard of a guy that showed up positive for almost 30 days after his last use of an opioid like Oxicontin. There are too many mitigating circumstances to give you a positive response. But if jogging doesn't make your pain worse, do it, and drink lots of water. Feb.5, 2015.

Get to one pharmacy they say they have it but can't fill just a narcotic script alone. I have been fed up!!!! Went back to my doctor and he changed the script to tramadol. I know that's crap but I'm in pain and need something for relief until this ish pass on by. ## Hello, do anyone know a pharmacy in the Detroit area that has 7.5/325 norco's in stock? ## Called the manufacturer and they said that they were shipping to all wholesalers in Michigan. So call this number to complain! Also contact your pharmacy and ask them to call there wholesaler and see what the problem is? Watson Ph...

If anybody has info on a pharmacy please post as i will do if im lucky ## I've been to pharmacy all of the Detroit area and future out no one has them.every pharmacy has a different story. If anyone has any info please share... ## Hello, Fina and Nyla! How are you both? Well, unfortunately, we are into the time of year when there is almost always a shortage of controlled substances. There are mandatory manufacturing limits to help keep better track of the supply and once a company reaches that limit, they can not manufacture anymore, until the new year. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and ...
Is excessive sleeping a withdrawal from norco 750? If someone took them for two weeks, then took 8 in one day? ## Hello, Lucy! How are you? No, that is most likely due to an overdose. That is far too many to take in one day. Especially if they are the old ones that contained that much Acetaminophen, taking 8 of them could result in a toxic overdose and this person needs to seek medical attention. Any amounts of Acetaminophen over 3,000 mgs a day can be toxic and very dangerous, it could cause fatal liver failure. The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. How is the person in question doing?
Are these Norco tablets any good? Never seen before. ## Hello, Penny! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Tris Pharma and they list it as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. (NDC 27808-037) Inactive Ingredients: - croscarmellose sodium - magnesium stearate - cellulose, microcrystalline - silicon dioxide - stearic acid The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Norco 539 which pharmacy drug that sells this brand. No generic please. Address Huntington Beach, California. ## Have you tried asking at your local pharmacies to see if they can order it in for you? Some can order it, they just don't always keep it in stock, since it isn't used as frequently as the generic. You should be aware, however, that you will be required to pay whatever the relevant price is for the number of tablets you need to purchase to fill your prescription. ## Guess what guys, you won't find one. Welcome to Fascist America. Nixon's jackboots on the ground, known as the lying 'DEA', has made it near impossible for your pharmacy to get the Norco it needs to fill prescriptions. They are only allowed a small disbursement each month. When that is fille...
My wife has been prescribed norco 10/325mg and has tried different mfg's due to different phamacy's brand they carry, she states that only Mallinckro works to stop the pain from two spinal fusions and a broken hip and femor. What pharmacy carries this brand, we got it when we were with kaiser and now we are with scan and cannot seem to obtain this mfg. ???? thanks Jim ## There is actually no way to know which generic that any given pharmacy is carrying, at any given time. It can vary, depending on which manufacturer is offering the cheapest price, when they they need to restock their supply. Have you tried asking the pharmacy if they can order the other in for her? ## WALMART they only carry this brand for it is not popular on the streets ## Is there anyone out there that not on...
My doctor told me that the new federal regulation for Norco Rx's requires mandatory urine drug testing be done every 6 months. Is this true? ## My husband was told the same thing by our family doctor yesterday. He is taking norco for chronic back pain until his 3rd back surgery that is scheduled in May. I'm not sure it's true but he also had to give a urine sample. He said he felt like he was treated like a drug addict. I get pain medication for rheumatoid arthritis from an arthritis doctor and I haven't had to give a urine sample to get it. I'm thinking it is up to each doctor?? ## I have never been asked to give a urine sample and I get norcos monthly for a chronic condition. I think it's the doctor and that's all
What are the chemical make ups of Norco's vs the chemical make up of Tramadol. I know that Norco has Hydrocodone and Tylenol but do not know what the make up of Tramadol is ## Hello, Rotom! How are you? Tramadol is the active ingredient, that's the name of the drug itself. The FDA classifies both of these medications as being narcotic analgesics, which means they carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Yes. With the new laws my health care provider is giving me a drug panel to make sure I am only taking the Norco as prescribed and nothing else. I was concerned because I had recently taken some Tramadol that I had from a while back and thought it m...
