I'm taking norco prescibed by my dr. Can I use a detoxifier while still taking my meds? ## Which detoxifier? I can't check for any possible interactions or problems, without knowing more specifics. Norco is a classified by the FDA as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. They aren't really necessary, your body does detoxify itself and none of them actually do everything they claim.

Hi! My friend asked me to help her identify a pill...pinkish, coated, shiny elongated oval pill. Says 500 on the unscored side, other side has a G before the score, and then 32 following the score. I've been taking 7.5/325 norco for years now for chronic pain. The last couple of months, its been hard to get my scripts filled. I have been on norco for 3 years. I take up to 5, 10/325 mg tablets. I have recently found out I have an inflammed pancreas. Also, in the past I have had kidney problems. I also take lots of other medications, and I am concerned about my liver, and inflammed pancreas. I want to take an opiate pain killer without acetaminophen, ibprofen, and naproxen because they are bad for your liver. How do I get a drug like that? What is the pain killing strength of a norco M 355 ## Hi Debbie, Just to clarify a couple of things - M 355 is actually reported to be a 100mg Diclofenac sodium extended-release tablet, made by Mylan Pharmaceuticals. It has no apparent relation to Norco other than the fact that it can also be used for pain relief; just not nearly as strong in my opinion. In terms of "pain killing strength", drug monographs describe Diclofenac as being used to relieve mild to moderate pain, whereas Norco is described as being used to relieve moderate to severe pain. I went to my pain doctor a few days ago and for about four days now I have been going from pharmacy to pharmacy trying to fill my norco 10/325. Just an FYI. I woke up in the hospital on a respirator after my teenage son found me. This was not intentional. I developed pneumonia. Oh! I woke up deaf. I couldn't hear for two days. My kidneys failed and I was on dialysis for 8 weeks. My overall hospital stay was almost four weeks. My family noticed a marked difference in my personality. Two years later I'm finally more like myself. I still take my pain meds, I developed an allergy to ambien and was told to never take any kind of anti inflammatory again! IMO most OD's are combos. I am prescribed norco and oxycotin 80mg i have not taken the oxys in a couple of days but i have to take a drug test to get my next prescription will they beable to tell that i haven't had the theraputic levels of the oxy even though im taking the norco ## It depends on your Body Mass Index (BMI), in combination with your cardio work you do. 4-5 days is one estimate I've been told, but once I heard of a guy that showed up positive for almost 30 days after his last use of an opioid like Oxicontin. Can i have my 7.5 norco filled on the internet in detroit michigan? ## None at all. I just spent two days searching every pharmacy I could find. That's not including the ones I called too. My wife has been prescribed norco 10/325mg and has tried different mfg's due to different phamacy's brand they carry, she states that only Mallinckro works to stop the pain from two spinal fusions and a broken hip and femor. My doctor told me that the new federal regulation for Norco Rx's requires mandatory urine drug testing be done every 6 months. Is this true? ## My husband was told the same thing by our family doctor yesterday. He is taking norco for chronic back pain until his 3rd back surgery that is scheduled in May. I'm not sure it's true but he also had to give a urine sample. He said he felt like he was treated like a drug addict. I get pain medication for rheumatoid arthritis from an arthritis doctor and I haven't had to give a urine sample to get it.
