Hello, Denise! How are you?

No, licenses aren't generally suspended, just because someone is taking any particular medication. They are usually just informed not to drive while under the influence of the medication, when they may be filling dizzy and drowsy. However, if you do drive, while taking it and get pulled over or have an accident, it can be considered a DUI.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

But licenses aren't suspended for people that take much stronger opiates, such as Fentanyl.

Licenses suspension usually only occurs, if someone has a medical reason that could make them a danger on the road, such as uncontrolled seizures, however, even in such cases, their license can be reinstated if they remain seizure free for 3 months.

Is there anything else I can help with?
