Need Help With Two Drug Interactions

I have been prescribed to soma for six years I take five a day 350 mg and I also take one 8 mg Suboxone a day is that safe to take spaced apart???

Taking Suboxone with other drugs that make you sleepy or slow your breathing can cause dangerous or life-threatening side effects. Ask your doctor before taking Suboxone with a sleeping pill, narcotic pain medicine, muscle relaxer, or medicine for anxiety, depression, or seizures

Just wanted to validate that Eddy's advice is spot on and in alignment with what I'm finding on drug interaction checkers. Umm.edu specifically mentions that there's a "high interaction potential" between these two drugs, whereas using the two together may increased your risk for certain side effects including everything Eddy stated. My research also goes on to note that you should contact your doctor if your have pale or blue lips, fingernails, or skin, since this may be a sign of low oxygen levels.

However, if using both medications is "required" which it might be in some rare cases (*knock on wood*), you should work closely with your doctor to determine how much and how often you use one or both medications in conjunction with one another to help minimize these risk factors. Never the less, it's not something that's usually recommended, because the risks are always present at some level.
