Is there a difference between the pills imprinted with g036 and m366? I have not noticed a difference but wonder why I got different pills from my Dr. or pharmacy? ## When a medication is available for generic production, it is normal for it to be manufactured by several different companies, and the FDA requires them all to use unique markings, so they can be traced back to a specific manufacturer, in case of emergency. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Are you on any other medications? Have you experienced any problem with these tablets?

Am 52 and have not been having my periods for two months. Have l started my menopause? ## Hello, Josami! How are you? It is possible. Aside from the cessation of your periods, the NIH lists other symptoms as possibly including nausea, hot flushes, irritability, headaches, PMS-like symptoms, chills and dizziness. So tonight I went to take my pill and noticed that Friday's pill was still there. I went ahead and took Friday's and Saturdays. (I'm in my second week) The thing is, I'm next to positive that I took it Friday. This would have to mean I missed it earlier in the week (I'm thinking Wednesday or Thursday). So, my question is, is there anything else I need to do? ## Hello, Nicole! How are you? Every missed pill creates the risk of pregnancy, so it would be best to use a backup form of protection, if you're engaging in intercourse, until you've taken another 7 days worth of active tablets in a row, unless your doctor advises otherwise. The FDA lists the typical side effects of oral contraceptives as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, PMS-...

I went to my MD who did not look at my blood pressure, temperature or heart rate; this after I gave the MD my history. I got sick suddenly on Tuesday night, with a high temperature, diarrhea, vomiting and body pain. They did not examine me. I was put on a bed and taken straight to the ER room for vitamins in drip and Buscopan. I was then sent home with a script only to find out it is only tans 3x 500mg one a day, plus Zelitrex tabs which is used to treat and prevent (recurring) infections with the herpes viruses. These include the viruses that cause: Cold sores (herpes simplex) - a burning and/or tingling sensation on or around the lips that develops into painful, fluid-filled blisters with scabs. I am confused as I do not have cold sores and they did not even look at my history. Please...

Can I stop these tablets now, what is the best alternative? ## I'm sorry, only your doctor can help you decide which one would best for you. As to the dryness and changes in discharge, yes, that can be a side effect of hormonal contraceptives, as reported by the U.S. FDA.
