Why Valparin 200 Given

My daughter takes valparin from past one year n how long it should be given. She had fits for a min twice. But all her reports r normal. So till when should valparin should b given

This medication is used to prevent seizures. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, mood swings, and weight changes.

She should continue taking it as long as her doctor deems it appropriate.

Is she on any other medications?
