Can Thiocolchicoside be given to a patient with polycystic kidney disease and mild renal insufficiency (i.e. Sr Creatinine of 1.5)? ## Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant with analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. It shouldn't be given to anyone with severe renal insufficiency, however, when someone just has a mild impairment, they can use it, but should be closely monitored by their doctors. The lowered kidney function usually causes increased plasma concentrations of most medications, so their bodies absorb more than the usual amounts and it takes longer for them to process it out. Therefore, their dosage has to be carefully adjusted, as well. ## I just want to read the daily message sent to my mail to keep me updated with the drug's information.

My search suggests that this might be cyclobenzaprine but all the picture show a yellow pill not a pink one. ## Hi Claire, I ran a google search and you seem to be correct about the identification of this pill. The difference in color could just mean that your pill was manufactured by a different company. I know these are new soma generic called rising pharmaceuticals but are they as effective as say wallace? I got sun pharm. Generic last 2 times, from local walgreens all these, and they are trash, please don't ever accept these sun brand, they have only 3 nos. On one side, can't recall but demand different one or you will be miserable. NOW can someone give me some insight on the one I got today from rising". I told pharmacist not to give me sun again, I prefer watson, she put watson on label and charged me for them but they were dam sun again, luckily I had refill elsewhere I could try these rising with, seem ok your opinion?? Yellow with a V on it ## Are there additional numbers on the tablet? V is a logo for Vintage/Qualitest pharmaceuticals. Their 10mg Cyclobenzaprine tablet should also have the numbers 2632 on it. The one listed in the prescription drug databases with the 2632 V marking on it is a very obvious yellow color and contains 10mgs of Cyclobenzaprine, which is a muscle relaxant. The pill was crushed and all that shows is a 66 at the end. But it is a large pill pure white. Any help would be great, I know it is not a lot to go on. Does m15 m blue pills cause you to have energy. Or is it like a soma just relaxes you? ## The pill you are describing is identified as Morphine sulfate extended release 15 mg. Interestingly enough, some people do get lots of energy from taking Morphine. But there are others who become more prone to its side effects, which can bring about a sense of tiredness. Is it effect a patient who is suffering last 2 weeks heeling pan from shoulder to hand. The patient had a stroke and using warf! Ortho prescribed this tab. Pls advice. ## There can be a slightly increased risk of bleeding from taking the Acetaminophen with the Warfarin. Is it a narcotic and does it have codine in it? ## Hi Lou, From what I could gather, Chlorzoxazone in and of itself is a centrally acting muscle relaxant and should show up accordingly on a drug test. Although there are certain brand names such as Muscol or Parafon Forte that contain a combination of Chlorzoxazone + Acetaminophen, there wouldn't be any narcotics to speak of.
