Hello, I'm looking for a Dr who understands and is up to date on the most current Medical research and information concerning Fibromyalgia, CFS and Lupus. I was on medication for 7 years for the above chronic illnesses and an accident which caused damage to various areas Lumbar 7, degenerative disc, etc. But, I know it's not as bad as many of the people who post on here requiring surgery etc. But, I went off all my medications in 201. A friend i know has taken 25 per day for years. They started with a dose of 6 at a time, then a dose of 4, then 7, then 5 - day and night. Can't believe how addicted they are. What are CA. penalties if caught doctor shopping to get enough to keep okay? He wants to know. ## I think Doctor Shopping of any controlled substance is a Felony. 25 Soma per day for years can damage your liver. While certain states treat Soma different than California, having any prescription medicine not prescribed by a Doctor can get you placed behind bars, even for a single dose.

I was taking zanaflex 3 times a day for only 5-7 days. Since stopping I have had anxiety and panic attacks. The dosage was 2mg each time. I know this seems petty but I feel as if I'm having withdraws. I ended up in the ER from a panic attack and now I'm wondering if it's because I stopped am taking zanaflex? I've never had this feeling and it's a feeling I can't overcome. How long does withdraws last? ## I'm sorry about the problems you're having. However, this medication doesn't usually cause that, especially after such a low dose for such a short period of time. It sounds like you have a sleep disorder. After you talk to a Doctor so that it can be determined if you do, he could prescribe Ambien CR, which is controlled release, so as to work through the night. Since you are taking Soma, Carisoprol or by any other name, still a muscle relaxer, and if you need pain pills, you are going to need to see a Dr. who specialized in pain management. That's good to know :-) ## U dont have to worry about a muscle relaxers when taking a drug test. U are prob gonna take a 5 panel drug test anyway unless they think you are using drugs or your about to get a job at a fortune 500 company. I only take random 5 panel tests for having a commercial drivers license. Pain killers do not even show up on a 5 panel test either. not even oxycontin. Those are all opioids and only pop on an 8 panel test or an higher panel test. Most all pills leave your system in less then 72 hours....

I was prescribed Cyclobenzaprine tl 211 at first the pills are 5 mgs Manufactured by Cadista Now recently my doctor has prescribed me Cyclobenzaprine 5 mgs 1 side IG other side 282 Manufactured by Camber these pills are half the size of the tl 211 is there any ingredient missing Im suppose to be worried about in the IG 282 because the pill is smaller? ## Hello, Loretta! I would think it might be gone by then however Soma breaks down into another controlled Drug called Miltown which is not really used anymore. ## Not sure type of test, its for probation! Went to Rite Aid today, thank goodness they are closing down and my new Soma prescription is on hold until tomorrow although my Xanax was ready to go today. I filled them both at the same time last month and 7 years ago the head Pharmacist yelled at me for filling a 3 month supply of Xanax after two months. But this two day rule they seem to have now is very bothersome. Also limited to 500 pills in 6 months per prescription is arbitrary & unfair!

I took maybe 4 or 5 500mg robaxin for back pain in a 3 day time period. Then i had a hair drug test 2 weeks later. Will it show positive? Will I fail the test? Thank you. ## Most hair drug tests do not include robaxin. Even if they did it is very doubtful the amount you took would show up. The hair 5 drug panel test is meant to show consistent use over time. A 1.5 inch sample, cut at the scalp line, would go back 90 days. I don't think I would lose any sleep over it.

My doctor has prescribed skelaxin for muscle spasms in my hands and feet due to osteoarthritis, it doesn't seem to help very much but I cannot take tizanidine because of serious side effects. (Hallucinations) I currently take Opana ER (10mg 3/day and Percocet 4/day) What other muscle relaxers can be prescribed? ## Hello, Toots! How are you? My husband has a really good job and took a flexeril will it show up in a hair test test. He just took one. ## It should not show up on a routine drug screen. Some folks claim that it does in fact show up as an anti depressant but not likely they would be testing for that. And I don't believe I've heard of anyone being questioned about having an anti deppresant in their system. Basically they can test for anything they want, but the most cost effective drug screens test 4 the mainstream abused drugs. My husband & I both were tested randomly 4 6 months to get custody of his kids & I had taken flexeril following an accident. Nobody ever said anything to me about it & we have the kids now! Thanks! ## This tablet is an old Norgesic Forte (a light muscle relaxer with caffeine and aspirin). Norgesic Forte has not been manufactured for about 3 years, but this specific tablet is quite old since they changed to a blue and white capsule shape a several years before they discontinued production.
