is the above dosage safe if taken for 2&1/2 years ## is taking 30 mg of morphine tabs 3 times a day for 2&1/2 years save? ## There is really no way to say whether or not the long term use of any medication is safe. It depends on the individual and how their body reacts to the drug. Some people experience problems and some don't. However, this is a narcotic and can be habit forming, after being used for such a long period of time. Have you discussed your concerns with your doctor?

white oval 93 on one and 58 on the other side ## This tablet does not contain Morphine, nor any type of narcotic. This tablet contains 50mgs of Tramadol, a non-narcotic pain reliever. its about the size of a oxy 20, its coated pinkish peach white inside, its supposed to be morphine ## did you ever find out if the small round peach/pink pill with "N" on one side and "60" on the other side actually was morphine??? is it a generic version of the orange morphine ms-contin pills?

My doc has changed my pain meds. I am taking 90 mgs. a day, and have been for 6 months. It doesn't work anymore. (Nerve damage from 5 failed back surgers and scarring from healing attempts.) He put me on 100mgs of MS Contin twice a day. I NEED to know what if anything I need to know about the transition. Hey I have 100mg morphine pills they are grey and sustained release. They are canadian pills. Can i sniff them to get around the sustained release? Or would that be wasting the pill? ## It would actually be endangering yourself. Most tablets contain fillers, especially the time released formulations and not all of these fillers are meant to be broken down by the human body, instead they are normally just expelled in your waste. If you crush a tablet to snort it, you are directly inhaling these fillers and it can cause blockages in your lungs, which could eventually lead to respiratory arrest. Are there any other questions?

MY DR TOOK ME OFF MSCONTIN 60MG AND PUT ME ON E658/100 MORPHINE SULIFATE. I AM AFRIED TO TAKE IT, AND MY PAIN IS STARTING TO HURT REAL BAD. In addition, since Morphine is a generic medication and is available in several formulations, such as regular release and time released, there are many tablets on the market that are made by quite a few different manufacturers, so I couldn't possibly post pictures or descriptions of them all. would this med make a pee test read percacet on a test ## It has not been known to do so. Morphine and the Oxycodone in Percocet are both different opioid narcotics and should, normally, register differently on drug tests. Has this happened to you or someone you know? A few months ago my doctor put me on Morphine Sullfate ER 30 mg 2X a day. I had been using oxycodone at night to sleep and as needed during the day. I am not finding the morphine to be effective, and I want to stop using it. I still have some oxycodone 5 mg tablets. Is there a way I can wean myself off the morphine--and eventually the oxy--using the 5mg oxy tablets? At this point, I'd rather live with the pain than being shackled to the drugs. ## You can try, but will likely still experience some withdrawal effects. will crushing the pill give me better relief? ## ER pills are not to be crushed ## Crushing them is a very dangerous practice, you could get too much of the narcotic at once and overdose yourself. These are time released for a reason. If you are having trouble with adequate pain relief, then please speak to your doctor. I was on these for several years for pain management and they are a very strong medication. I do have to say, however, there are some types of pain that they should not be used for, what condition are you taking them for? ## If you are taking an antibiotic for Azitmonuycin can you crush them & drink with juice ?
