Morphine is exactly what you were already taking in the MS Contin, that was just a name brand for the time released formulation and this is a generic.

Any effects you experience, when taking it, should be similar to those you experienced when you first started taking the MS Contin, such as dizziness, nausea, dry mouth and constipation.

Is this same doctor aware that you are suffering from CHF? Narcotics can be used by CHF patients, your doctor just has to be aware of it and they should be monitoring you on a regular basis.

You should also know to watch for certain problematic symptoms, such as difficulty breathing, lowered heart rate and lowered blood pressure.
