I take a lot of meds for chronic pain and inhalers for shorness of breath (copd). Something causes leg weakness and hip fatigue. Any guesses? ## Without knowing the specific medications, it is going to be difficult for anyone to help you. These symptoms could be caused by many different medications. Can you please post back with more information? ## Sure: meds include; hyrocodone, morphine, nuerontin, for pain. albuterol, spiriva and pulmicort inhalers for SOBreath. changing to Oxycodone HCL BY DOCTOR--what amount of oxycodone hcl would be comparable to MS CONTIN 30 MG ? ## Oxycodone is one and a half times stronger than Morphine, so you would actually need a lower dose of the Oxycodone, which would be around 20mgs. over the last 12days i have had bad headakes that i cant manage with just over the counter med "advil-tylanol". so i have been going back to the hospital for help. nothing gets rid of it. so they have been giving me morphine. on sunday they gave me some to take home in pill form. its little seafoam green and has the letters "pms" on it. truth be told its not helping me at all. is this pill realy morphine? if so why wont it work? ## No, this tablet does not contain Morphine, nor any type of narcotic. why cant i find this medication ## The pill with the 54 262 marking isn't a 40mg Morphine tablet, it is a 30mg tablet and how are you going about trying to find it? If you are just calling around to the various pharmacies and asking if they have it in stock, then you have to understand that since Morphine is a narcotic/controlled substance, you are likely not getting an honest answer. Due to the very high risk of theft, most pharmacies will simply tell anyone that just calls that they do not stock these types of prescriptions. If you are just a voice on the phone, they have no way of knowing if you a legitimate customer or a potential thief. The only way to really find out if they have it in stock is to actually go into the pharmacy, in person, with your prescription in hand.

I just died from running two; no, not because an opiate overdose, but because the wax blocked an artery to my heart and I suffered a self induced heart attack right there on the floor! So, all in all, there is than one way to over- do-it with these i.v. meds. ## Were you in the hospital? Was it a medically confirmed heart attack? i am receiving two colors, one pink and one orange/brown...both are marked abg 60 on both...has anyone said anything ## I'm not too sure about the pink colored pill, but I was able to locate the orange pill you have to be Morphine sulfate CR 60 mg (NDC 0591-3513); which is used to relieve severe or agonizing pain and suffering. its a white capsule with m-eslon 10 ## my mother takes m-elson for pain but drinks also not everyday but when she drinks she gets pretty tipsy she is 76 years old and im afraid ....what do i do ## m-eslon capsules is CANADIAN MORPHINE. IT can be 10mg, 20mg, 30mg 60mg 100mg 200mg. I think it's a 12-hour capsule.

I was wondering I had a pill I know it was morhine. it was an oblong blue shape and color. It has been awhile I'm a chronic pain patient and I cannot take the newoxy op's I took 80mg 3x a day for along time. If any body knows the difference between just the regular morphine and the er opana ect. let me know the ms-contin did not work at all. Also the hydromorphone what is the differences in those meds? I know that is alot of info I just need to knoww. So if you know any of it let me know. I need this answer, I want to convert 3mg of IV morphin sulfate to the equivalant oral dose of immediate release morphine. 10mg of IV = 30mg of oral ## Each milligram of the IV solution is equivalent to 3mgs of the oral form of Morphine, so a 3mg IV dose would equal 9mgs of the oral dose. I found a small round purple pill with an N on one side and 30 on the other, but it does not have an M on either side ## I'm sorry, but I can't find a listing for this in any of the U.S. prescription drug databases. Was it found in the U.S. or elsewhere? It is highly possible that is it something available over the counter, there is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication. Does anyone else recognize this? ## It's morphine. My step-dad takes it for his knees. It's a very high dose of it.

I was recently hospitalized and was given dilauted and morphine for 8 days. I was then sent home. I am now suffering from abdominal pain and cramping 4 days later. I did experience abdominal pain while in the hospital. Is this related to the morphine and how long will it last? ## Dilaudid contains Hydromorphone, so it is a narcotic, just like the Morphine, so it could also be causing some of the problem. I can't say with certainty, but it could be some mild withdrawal symptoms, which can happen with narcotics, however, you were only on them for a little over a week, so it really shouldn't late more than a few days.
