Morphine Realy

over the last 12days i have had bad headakes that i cant manage with just over the counter med "advil-tylanol". so i have been going back to the hospital for help. nothing gets rid of it. so they have been giving me morphine. on sunday they gave me some to take home in pill form. its little seafoam green and has the letters "pms" on it. truth be told its not helping me at all. is this pill realy morphine? if so why wont it work?

No, this tablet does not contain Morphine, nor any type of narcotic.

This tablet contains 40mgs of Propanolol, the active ingredient in Inderal, it is a beta blocker, it is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and cardiac conditions, but it has been shown to help with migraines for some people, where other medications fail.

It may cause side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, low blood pressure and stomach pain.

And while it does help some people with headaches and migraines, it really works better, when taken as a preventative, because it can take 4 to 6 weeks to reach its full effectiveness in the body.
