My partner took a very large overdose of mirtazapine a few days ago, he vomited some of them back but has since been very muzzy headed, spaced out, dizzy, numb hands and feet and cannot balance. He won't go to hospital, What should I do? ## Taking him to the hospital, anyway! Even if he survived, he could have done permanent damage to himself and his life could still be in danger from organ failure. Learn more Mirtazapine details here. Sometimes, when you care about someone, you have to take such a decision out of their hands and just act to get them the help they need. How is he doing now?

I need a pic of this pill, its white round blank on one side and a capital E over numbers 333 on the other side. It is a generic brand ## Hi scott, Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a picture of pill that matches the description you provided. However, I believe that the pill may have been manufactured by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals (Eon Labs). The closest match I've found is a round light yellow pill with the imprint E 144 divided by a score line. If you google image "yellow pill E 144" You should be able to find the pill I've described. Based on my research, the E logo on this pill is the logo for Sandoz Pharmaceuticals (Eon Labs). Hopefully this information will help you to narrow down your search! Has anyone seen a pill like the one scott has described? If so, ...

I don't have any pictures to post for you, due to copyright reasons, but I can confirm that there is a 45mg Mirtazapine tablet that matches that description and has that marking. small round yello pill ## Sorry, you have not provided enough information. This drug is available in both name brand and generic versions. There are many generic manufacturers and each one of them will make a pill that looks different. There are no rules saying that pills with the same ingredient have to look the same! The size, color, shape and imprint will all vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. The only relevant regulations from the FDA state that they must have unique imprints for identification purposes, but these will even differ by manufacturer and strength of the med. In order to identify your pill for you and tell you what it is, you need to provide the complete imprint from the pill, all letters, numbers and/or symbols that may be on it, as well as the color and shape. SMALL GREEN ROUND PILL WITH AN A ON TOP AND 214 ON THE BOTTOM ## Pill Image THIS IS NOT MIRTAZAPINE!!! This is a narcotic pain reliever, Oxycodone 15mgs, Instant Release, a generic for Oxyfast. Mirtazapine is an antidepressant, so not even related to this. ## Verwon correct as usual. This is 15mg IR Oxycodone HCl made by Actavis. The A215 blue pill of same size and design is 30mg.

round orange pill nothing on other side ## Hello, I believe I have identified your pill as Mirtazapine (15 mg); which is used in the treatment of major depressive disorder and other mood disorders and more. Side effects can include (but are not limited to): Dizziness, blurred vision, sedation, somnolence, malaise, increased appetite, weight gain (as a result of increased appetite), dry mouth, constipation, and joint and muscle pain. The pill I found is almost an exact match to the one you've described. It is a round yellow pill (but appears to be orange) with 9 3 (divided by a score line) on one side, and 7206 on the other side. Maybe the other imprint got smudged off at some point? Manufacturer: Teva Pharmaceuticals USA National Drug Code (NDC): 00093-7206 Do you think this could b...

I feel I have been on all anti-pressants ever made, I self medicated with booze for a long time so of course none of them worked or made me sleepy. Well finally I got off the booze about 4 years ago and I like Remeron but I`m diabetic and scared of all the talk about weight gain, I keep my numbers down for the diebetes, I`m 67 and I tread very lightly. ## Have you talked to your doctor? I know you say that you've tried them all, but there are some relatively new ones on the market and not all of them are known to cause weight gain. Your doctor may be able to suggest one you can try that wouldn't cause this issue. I understand why you tread lightly, being diabetic and your age. Have you tried any natural treatments? Some people have great luck with OTC supplements such as Ashwaga...

I am a diabetic, and my Dr. prescribed mirtazapine for insomnia. I'm worried about high blood sugar and weight gain. I haven't had much luck with all the meds they've had me try, and I don't need any more issues to deal with, especially trying to get off of something that isn't working. Too scared to try it. ## Hi! I completely understand what you're talking about, I've been there myself. I have weird reactions and am very sensitive to most medications and sometimes it's a real roller coaster ride to find something that works, without making me completely miserable. And I was actually just responding to a post from someone else that is having a problem with insomnia and I'd like to ask you the same question I asked them: What tests have been done to d...

I was put on mirtazapine due to weight loss and am coming off it. IT is a difficult drug to come off and I am going through hell. They do not tell you what will happen if you decide to want to come off them because in their eyes you are not supposed to come off. so be wary before taking them I wish I had not ## I'm sorry about the problems you are experiencing. However, it is well known that our bodies will get used to anything that we ingest on a regular basis, for a long period of time and will react if such a substance is suddenly withdrawn. How are you stopping it? Have you done a gradual taper? That is usually the best way to do so, to prevent the worst of the withdrawal/rebound effects. You can learn more Mirtazapine details here. Sometimes, a doctor will have you gradually lo...

I've been on Mirtazapine for 4 weeks and don't feel any better, I can't stop crying and have dark thoughts. Has anybody else experienced this? Please help me. ## Mirtazapine is a tricyclic antidepressant and if it is not helping after 4 weeks of use, you may need a higher dosage or it might not be the right medication to help you. Not everything works for everyone. Have you contacted your doctor about this, yet? You may need to try a different class of antidepressant, such as an SSRI, like Paroxetine: ## I have been on this medication for seven years. I have always felt better with it until about 3 months ago. Now I'm more depressed than ever. More crying. More things are bothering me that usually wouldn't. And more suicidal thoughts now than EVER before. Not sure wh...

I have been on 45 mg of mitrazapine for about one year for depression and insomnia. For the past few months 54 mg of concerta has been added in hopes of helping my depression. I really don't feel much better and my anxiety has increased along with my patience. I feel nervous and miserable most of the time. The mitrazapine does help a bit with my sleep, but takes a few hours to take effect. When I wake up each day, I feel like I have a hangover even though I have consume alcohol in months. Any body out there feel like this? I have been unable to work in over 31 months. My depression is so severe that I have actually qualified for permanent long term disability benefits thru my employer.. ## What type of doctor are you seeing, is it a specialist or a general practitioner? pill ## I want info on Mirtazatine ## I think the information being requested in these posts was most likely about Mirtazapine, which is an NaSSA antidepressant, that's also used to treat anxiety, as a hypnotic and to stimulate the appetite. It may cause side effects, such as weight gain due to stimulating the appetite, as well as drowsiness, dry mouth and blurred vision. Interestingly enough, there's a specific listing in the monograph that says it's also used to stimulate the appetite in anorexic cats...who knew? Are there any questions I can help with? Please help. Week 2 of coming off Remeron. Feel like crap. Is there ANYONE there that has had success with this. Not sure if I can take it. Confused, jittery, tingly and just overall anxiety. I am also on 25 mills of Zoloft, twice daily. My doctor sucks so please don't tell me to call him because he is useless!! ## Hello, I'm sorry to hear about your situation, I personally haven't had experience with Remeron withdrawal, but if I can recommend anything to help speed up the process of detoxing your body, it would be to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables while staying hydrated throughout the day. Also, make sure you are getting plenty of rest and try to get at least 1 hour of exercise in each day to help sweat out any toxins and get your lymphatic system flowing (which will s...
