Can't fine teva brand of Metformin regular or ER in my location and I'm allergic to other generic brands. Need to find in Utica, Sterling Hts , MI 48314 area. ## Have you tried asking any of your local pharmacies if they can order it in for you? From what I have found, they still list the 500mg, 850mg and 1000mg as being available. A pharmacy should be able to order it in for you and you, or your insurance would just have to pay for it. What type of reaction do you have to the other ones? ## Hi. I just moved from the area. St John Pharmacy gave me Teva brand my last order. They are located in Macomb Twp, MI on Romeo Plank south of 21 mile. I don't have their phone no as I just switched phones, there also may be another St John Pharmacy located closer to you. Hi..my dad needs the metformin by teva 500mg but the pharmacies they have been going to can not get it for him ..he lives in northern New Jersey. He NEEDS this medicine...where or how can he get it? What is difference between Glycomet gp3/850 and Glycomet Gp3 forte ## Hello, Sudhir! How are you? From what I've found there is no difference, they both contain the same amounts of Metformin and Glimepiride. The U.S. FDA lists their typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, flatulence, stomach pain and hypoglycemia. Is there anything else I can help with?

Hi..i am married and planning for children..my periods are too late, by about 3 months. So i consulted my doc and she says that maybe i am not ovulating..so she did my pcod and hormonal test.. I dont have pcod but hormonal imbalance was there.. So she prescribes a 3 month course of femlion, ovabless and metformin.. I am in my 2nd month course..my concern is that i am using those tablets regularly, and me and my husband have intercourse also.. Is there any chance of getting pregnant or not..? Doc also says after 3 months completion on the day 2nd of period she will do some type of injection.. After that we should be able to have intercourse.. May i know if pregnancy is possible with those tablets or not? And one more thing is that i have very little spot bleeding during periods.. May i k...

What is the use of glycomet tablet? X-Met contains Metformin, this is an oral antidiabetic medication that is also used to treat PCOS, in some women. The effects of long-term use, in the future is also under debate about this one. I 4 5 on a round white tablet Label says Metformin 500 MG from Solco Health. . . from Publix grocery pharmacy's free program. These do not resemble the others that I had been taking from another pharmacy. ## You do have the correct medication, this does contain 500mgs of Metformin. Not all generics will look the same, as they have to have unique markings so the contents and manufacturer can be identified in case of emergency. I have been taking Metformin for about 20 years. What I noticed when I begin to take it was my appetite was significantly decreased. I lost about 12 pounds, which was good. The last 5 years I've noticed I have a difficult time eating out because (1) the food taste too salty and (2) the portions are way too big. Whenever there is a lot of food on my plate my appetite goes away. In the past year I can eat a good breakfast and lunch but dinner is too much. My sister has the same appetite suppression issues I have. The only other time I have experienced these same issues is during my first pregnancy prior to onset of diabetes. Can I take lipozene with metformin? I take four 500 mg of metformin a day. ## @Pumpkinb, According to umm.edu's drug interaction checker, there are interactions listed between the active ingredient in Lipozene (Glucomannan) and Metformin. These precautions note that 'taking Glucomannan with an anti-diabetic agent may cause blood sugar levels to drop too low'. Furthermore, taking the two together can reportedly increase your risk of certain side effects. And lastly, they also recommend contacting your doctor if you were to experience any of the following symptoms while taking these two substances: blurred vision, confusion, headaches, excessive sweating, nervousness, jitters or shakes. Are there any markings on them? This information is what would enable me to check them out for you. I would investigate this. 500 MG of melatonin sounds too good to be true and if it is then it probably is too good to be true. ## She is asking anout METFORMIN! Not melatonin! What is the differance between METFORMIN HCL AND XL TAB ?. ## Hello, Karen! How are you? The HCL just designates the specific chemical salt that the medication is derived from, so it's all Metformin HCL, however, the XL designates that one as being a time release formulation of the medication.
