I would like to know whether I can take METFORMIN 1000MG, GLIMEPERIDE 2MG and VOGLIBOSE 0.2mg separately, because it will work out cheaper by almost 60% instead of the combination. (RS150-90). ## It should be okay to do so, as long as the dosages are the same, but it is always best to double check with your doctor to be sure. The U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, and flatulence. Are you on any other medications?

Can metformin cause a charley horse in the legs? I started metformin 500mg 9 days ago and starting on the 8th day I began experiencing really bad leg cramps. ## Yes, the FDA does list muscle cramping as being a fairly common side effect of this medication, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, flatulence, and stomach pain. Side effects are typically transient and should go away, once your body gets used to the medication, but that may take about 4 to 5 weeks. Are you on any other medications?

Ihave been diabetic 2 for the last 10 years.I was prescribed Glipermide and Metformin.But it was suggested to stop Metformin as I had higher creatinine.Taking Insulin (Novomix 30) morning and evening plus Trajenta 5.I want to stop insulin suggest drugs ## You shouldn't stop the insulin, unless your doctor instructs you to do so. It is very important to keep your blood sugar under control, letting it get out of control can be very dangerous and possibly life-threatening, according to the AMA. Why do you want to stop the insulin? I am not sure what other medications are available for you that would be safe for you to take. Have you discussed it with your doctor?

Hello doctor... I have pcos., doctor suggest me to take metformin 500mg a day. After take it for a week I got my periods,from then periods got regular for 6 months. I am trying to concieve .so doctor suggest me to take scan. jalra 500 and gluformin G1 forte gives me extreme flatulence and cramps in the back, suffering very badly with bloating and loss of taste for food, dizziness and blurring of the eyes. Sir, I am a first time user of this medicine. before i was using metformin 1 gm two times. Now i am advised to reclide 60 twice in a day. my fasting sugar was around 120 and after 1 1/2 hrs it was 170. also protine leak in urine raised sudenly. so doctor changed, the medecine from metformin to reclide xr 60. other medicines i am using are cardace 5 mg twice, amlopress 5 mg at night and modlip asg 75 at night is it ok to take reclide xr 60 with these medicines . my 3 month average is around 6.7. will the new medicine may cause any side effects. i need ur advice ## For the best outcome, you should always take medications as prescribed by your doctor.
