I have been taking this medication for over 12 years my doc has been wanting me off this medication say it cause kidney problems etc. wants me in lisinopril 10mg. I'm afraid of weight Gain & other side effects. The last 6 months I have had some vertigo & migraine. They feel that triam/htz is causing this. Lisinopril seems to have same side effects. Very confused ## Hello, Lane! How are you? Yes, Triam/HTZ is a combined diuretic, which works by removing fluid from the body, so it can be very taxing on the kidneys and they likely do need a break from it, after this many years. However, the other side effects risks aren't really any different between it and the Lisinopril. Typical ones, as listed by the FDA, may include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and h...

I have been taking Lisinopril 40Mg daily for six months. Two months ago I began to have plugged nasel passage with no pain or pressure. The feeling I have is that my throat and nasel passage is extremely dry and it feels like I need to expel mucus from my nose, but there is none. I have been given two rounds of antibiotics, nasel spray and have tried every OTC decongestion and antihistamine, but none of these remedy my problem. Constantly trying to clear what feels like dried mucus and this does nothing but make my throat sore. Have also tried steam, nasel rinses and any home remedy to correct this. Now my ears feel plugged so I have had enough. Have any of you had this experience? Only dry caugh is when I am trying to clear my dry nasel passage. Not painful, but extremely irritating! #...

whats the difference between the LM2 pill and the e173 first one is green second one is pink.. ## @P Johnson, By "LM2" are you referring to the round yellowish/green pill marked "M" on one side and "L" over "25" on the other? This was the only Lisinopril tablet I found that had a similar description to yours. It's listed as being manufactured by Mylan. More specifically, it contains 20mgs of Lisinopril along with the following list of inactive ingredients: silicon dioxide + croscarmellose sodium + calcium phosphate dihydrate dibasic + magnesium stearate + mannitol + povidone + corn starch + sodium lauryl sulfate + D&C Yellow No. 10 The second pink pill marked "E 173" is manufactured by Sandoz and reportedly contains 25mg of Hydrochlorothia...

I have oval peach/pink lisinopril with the number 101 and what looks like the letter Get on them, I would like to know what dosage they are. ## Hi Sheila, From the Lisinopril images online, I'm seeing an oval peach/pinkish tablet with a strange looking italicized "E" sitting to the left of "101" imprinted on one side of the pill and blank on the other. Is this what you're describing as well? If so, it's reported to be a 10mg Lisinopril tablet, manufactured by Sandoz. I hope this helps! Please post back though if you believe it to be something else.

What would happen to a Jack Russell dog, 15 lbs, if he ate one lipin 20mg by accident? ## Hello, Driver 5518! How is your pup? In such cases, it would be best to consult a veterinarian, I'm not very familiar with the use of most medications in animals. Did he suffer any adverse effects? Which medication did he take? Lupin is just the name of a manufacturer, not a drug, so I can't identify it just with the information you've provided. However, many drugs are used in humans and dogs, it's just the dosages that change. ## Yes, my dog had seizures, it's really weird that the last 3 times a particular person was visiting with me over the last 3 years, this has happened and I found these type pills on the floor by the bed, the pill is round and pink in color. On one side i...

does lisinopril tree exiety I was put on it briefly when I was in jail but I wasn't able to get a prescription when I got out for it still having anxiety shortness of breath ## Hello, James! How are you doing? I'm sorry about the problems that you're having. No, Lisinopril isn't usually used to treat anxiety. It is an ACE inhibitor that's most commonly used to treat high blood pressure, certain cardiac conditions and to prevent the renal complications that can be associated with diabetes. Typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain and dry cough. Thus, most doctors aren't going to prescribe it for such a use. Has your doctor offered you any treatment options?

Can I take "V 3109" with Lisinopril, Hydrochlorothiazide and Amoxicillin? ## Hello, Sara! How are you? The main interaction is actually between the Hydrochlorothiazide and the Amoxicillin, they both tend to increase the effects of the other. That's not necessarily a problem with the antibiotic, but it could cause you to become dehydrated from the Hydrochlorothiazide, so you do need to be aware of that and be careful of it by maintaining your fluid intake to prevent it. The tablet with the 3109 V marking contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen, 40mgs of Butalbital, 40mgs of Caffeine and 30mgs of Codeine, it is a narcotic that's most commonly used to treat migraines, This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as naus...

I have OCD and I have a pill phobia and become obsessed. My question is how much is too much of Lisinopril 25mg? Toxic effects? also for HCTZ 25mg? ## Hello, Brenda! How are you? I understand, I have OCD myself and frequently do the same thing with medications, though I don't have a phobia about taking them. Anyway, I am very happy to help with more information. You should only take the amount your doctor has prescribed. But the maximum daily dose of Lisinopril can go as high as 80mgs daily, but it's rarely used in doses more than 40mgs daily. This medication is an ACE inhibitor that's most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. Its side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, dry cough and hypotension. Hydrochloroth...

What are ALL ingredients of e102 pill by Eon? I used to take white one (3973 on one side, v on the other), no problem, but taking the e102, I feel bloating, more tired, headache. Same lisinopril dosage, just different maker and color. Would like to know all the fillers, please. Thanks ## Hello, Klara! How are you? I'm sorry, but I've been unable to find a list of the inactive ingredients for this tablet. Regardless, due to the symptoms you're having, I think there's actually a slight difference in the amount of the active ingredient, generics are allowed to differ slightly. What have your blood pressure and heart rate levels been at, while taking this one? Have you consulted your doctor?

I have been taking lisinopril hctz (small blur pill) for years without any problems. Couple of months ago the pharmacy started giving me lisop hctz ( a little larger pink pill - watson). I have been experiencing discomfort and body aches laying on my stomach for the past month. Could this be related? ## Hello, Nick! How are you? I"m sorry about the problems you're having. It is rather difficult to say with certainty. It may be due to side effects, if the new tablet is slightly stronger than the prior generic, since they can vary slightly, or it could be entirely unrelated. Another possibility is dehydration, if this new tablet is a little stronger, it may be removing more fluid from your body than the prior one and you may not be taking in enough to replace it. Are you on any ot...

Can I take both of these together? The doctor gave me the lisinopril 10 mg to start taking. I was taking OTC fastin ( phenylethylamine hci) as a weight loss pill. Please advise ## Hello, Caroline! How are you? Did you tell your doctor that you were taking the Phenylethylamine? It is a stimulant, so it may cause elevated blood pressure and heart rate and if you do have high blood pressure, then no, it is not safe for you to take it. Lisinopril is an ACE inhibitor that's used to treat high blood pressure and heart failure, its side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach pain. ## SWIM told me that Phenylethylamine HCL (PEA) that looks like shavings of something white is good for pain. Then I heard it may be bath salts and people take it to feel high. What is it for...

Can u take tramadol hct 50mg with lisinopril hctz 12.5 mg ## Hello, Patches! How are you? I didn't find any interactions or problems listed between these medications, but it's always best to double check such information to be sure. Tramadol is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I take a combination pill lisinopril/hctz for high blood pressure would it be safe to take the cb1 weight gainer with my medication ## Hello, Rick! How are you? If you have high blood pressure, it would be best to check with your doctor, before doing anything to try to gain weight. Extra weight places extra work load on the heart, which could just worsen your condition. Is there anything else I can help with?

Where in Oklahoma City can I get my Lisinopril 40 mg script filled with the Ivax brand? It has to be made by Ivax because other generics make my blood pressure rise sharply. ## Hello, Kaye! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no listing of pharmacies showing what medication they carry from any certain manufacturer. Have you tried asking if your regular pharmacy can order it in for you? They should be able to do so for a regular customer.

I am looking for an over the counter that is equivalent to to the kor-con m10 er tablets ## Hello, Tracey! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is nothing available over the counter that is equivalent. The over the counter Potassium supplements are just fractions of this, so you'd have to spend just as much many to take a lot of them. How low is your potassium level? You may be able to up it by combining over the counter supplements with high potassium foods, such as bananas. Have you consulted your doctor for ideas? ## Thanks....I was just wondering. Went to doc fri....she uped my lisinopril from 10 to 20 mg and asked me if I took at night.....I always take at 425 every morn before work. Now she wants me to take it before bed. She said people usually take it before bed. why?
