I have slow G.I. motility and am taking Resolor (Prucalopride). Been on it for 9 days and not really working. Been in pain for a year with tummy troubles. Laxatives stopped working. How long before Prucalopride really works? ## It can take 4 to 5 weeks, before it reaches its full level of efficacy in your body. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, flatulence, and constipation. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change? Are you on any other medications? ## I have been given it for severe slow transit . Had 10 days and not working . Really don't know what to do next ??

I found a round candy pink pill that has the markings TCL 057 on one side and nothing on the other side. I have no clue what it is. It was in a bottle that had no label with my fathers things when he passed. There is a ton of them, I can't find them anywhere online. Yep. It was prescribed for me to take as needed. It works well for me taken on an empty stomach; within 2 hours my bowels start churning. ## Ditto, I also was told as needed by my Dr. It works within 2 hours very efficiently. ## I have constipation due to everyday meds for blood pressure. Nothing helped until I started taking Linzess. I like the idea of as needed. I think I'll try that. Otherwise. I become housebound.

Took this stuff at 6:30 pm and its now 11:06 pm and not much is happening. All the anticipation for this procedure and now it doesn't seem to be working. I'm supposed to take the next dose at 7 a.m., hope something gets it going. Have to report for the colonoscopy at 11:15 a.m.. So far, Im not impressed. Has there been a recall on this product? ## Hi, CatLady! I haven't found any information saying that there is a current recall on it. The last one I found listed was due to a labeling problem and occurred in 2011. However, since this isn't an item that completely falls under command of the FDA, the company isn't actually required to log a recall notice with them or any particular entity. Recalls are actually voluntary and up to their discretion, unless it's due to an issue that has the potential to be very dangerous. I have been on linzess for a week now and no results yet besides bad bloating! Will the bloating go away? How long does it normally take to start working? ## How are you feeling? Have your symptoms improved any? It can take several weeks for a medication to reach its full efficacy level in your body and for the side effects to peak and begin to taper off, usually 4 to 6 weeks. ## I started linzess a few days before a colonoscopy and it worked. I've been on Linzess for constipation for two weeks. While it has only produced one bowel movement during this time, I was still hopeful. However, I woke up on a Wednesday with a swollen face and a bump in my eyebrow. I thought I had gotten bitten by something and didn't attribute it to the Linzess. Took Benadryl but didn't get any relief. I woke up with my eyes swollen almost shut on both Thursday and Friday morning and the bump in my eyebrow began to itch. Prepopik is by far the best and most tolerable bowel prep for colonoscopy! I have tried 3 others in the past, including the pill form, and this new prep was the best for the following reasons: 1. Split dosing, 5 ozs, 5 hours apart. Least amount to have to get down (10 ozs total) 2. No salty, gritty taste. Not thick, actually tastes just like orange soda, very palatable! The prep is what hindered me in going back for my follow up c'scpe until now. ## I forgot to say ask for a coupon for Prepopik from your doctor. ## For bowel prep this worked wonderfully. Took the split dose method at 8pm and 3am for an early morning procedure. 1st dose chased with 24oz of water and 16 more oz within the hour and I was having bowel movements by 45 minutes. I have always wondered the question if OXY really stays in your system for days and I have always thought there was a way of getting out of your system within hours of last dose. I have actually put this to the test and here is what I found out: I am a frequent user of opana/roxy and have had to take several drug test within 1 day of using. Hi, we're going away and sadly our two flights have to be in the morning. I usually take linzess @ 8am and by 12pm I'm done for the day. My concern is that those two days I can't take it as too uncertain about available facilities, will that completely mess me up? Once I get there I can start my normal dose and routine until home. How messed up will this make me and has any one else had experience? Any help or advice welcomed.
