When ever I am constipated on and off I take Dulcolax 2 tabs before bed. My stomach is cleaned for that day but the next day am constipated again and the whole day it effects my mood. Can I take this laxative everyday will it becomes habit forming and always make me constipated Please advise _ Thanks

Increased appetite and weight gain are only potential adverse reactions to this medication and therefore probably won't be as beneficial or cost effective as simply changing your diet to promote weight gain. Dizziness, sedation, dry mouth, constipation, and nervousness are more potential adverse reactions that might accompany weight gain or increased appetite. Have you considered trying to get in touch with a nutritionist or registered dietician for this purpose? I realize this doesn't answer your initial question of where to obtain the medication, but I have to wonder why someone would take migraine medication to gain weight?

ispaghula, when combined with lactitol then it looses its sticky nature in presence of water. is it true? ## yes , when lactitol and ishgula husk is combined in powder form, ishgula looses its sticky nature and suspention is formed for immidiate use / drink. Ihave divatilutictas and suffer from constipation 3-4 days without a movement what should i do? ## My first thought after reading your description is that you should increase your fiber intake. The minimum RDA for fiber is 35g a day, but in my opinion, double or triple that may be very beneficial to you. I personally eat around 70g of fiber a day from fruits such as figs, bananas, dates, mangos, oranges, etc. I would not recommend jumping to this number over night, but gradually increasing your fruit intake should help a lot. It's also very important that if you follow this, you should only have fruit by itself and with no other type of food other than more fruit. Hi! I have a relative staying over who uses Agoral frequently as it is the only thing that aids his severe constipation problem. He purchased Agoral over the counter at a local Walgreen's store at a U.S. territory, however left it behind when he arrived to the US, thinking he'd find it anywhere. However, we were wrong. We haven't been able to find Agoral in any pharmacy in the continental US. We have tried all the main pharmacies (CVS, Walgreens, RiteAid, etc.), and have searched online .. but no luck. Can you take this medication if you have high sodium levels? ## Contraindications for Miralax indicate that you should check with your physician IF you have a low amount of Sodium in the blood OR a low amount of Potassium in the blood. It doesn't appear to state how this interaction affects the medication; but controversially, if one has a low amount of Potassium in the blood, their sodium tends to be high. This isn't always the case, but it would be good to check Potassium levels just to be sure. One way to help prevent this is to decrease your intake of sodium rich foods (mostly everything that is packaged or frozen) and increase your daily intake of fruits and vegetables; particularly dates, figs, and bananas that contain high amounts of Potassium. the pill is a dirty brown and has a large s on it the pill itself is about the size of a tic tac but it is round ## I'm not 100% certain, but there is an over the counter laxative that resembles this, it's called Senokot and contains Sennosides. Does anyone else recognize this tablet?

I have to get a colonoscopy done on Tuesday and am supposed to start a Suprep kit tomorrow. Am I allowed to take my blood pressure medication, Enalapril 10mg 2x/day while doing this kit? I found a brown round pill in my wife's purse, it is a darker brown almost a little purple with three white numbers? on it. I think they say 215 or Z15, not sure, hard to read ## the pill marked AZ 217 is sennosides 8.6 MG tablet used for laxative. very gentle. also used as a stool softner. compare to SENOKOT from durg store shelf. ## hey i found a small brown pill that seems to have darker spots in it. it is medium brown with dark speckles all in it and it says "01 215" on one side of it. Tried searching it online but i have no idea what it is.

found some orange(ish) looking gel caps with the imprint 0145.Please advise what this could be for the safety of my family ## I can't find any listing for this, which leads me to suspect that it's probably an over the counter product. They are not required to log their imprints, the way that prescription medications have to be logged. There is also a very small chance that it could be a foreign medication. I have cramps. Can I takes these for pain? ## The red gel over the counter products with the P 51 marking contain 100mgs of Docusate, which is a stool softener and will not help with pain, or cramping. Is there anything else I can help with?

A sitter we have employed to care for our mother has suggested that we apply Milkinol to her scalp to get rid of what appears to be "adult cradle cap". She has used it on other patients with success. Have you ever heard of this? We wonder what it might do to her scalp. ## From what I am finding, the topical form is just mineral oil, so it really just moisturizes. There should be no harm in trying it, but you should check with her doctor, to be certain.

Help please.My husband has diabetes(completely under control) and kidney stones which are trying to get resolved with a urologist. He is very constipated and only has BMs which look like very hard round golf balls. His doc said miralax...he takes it for 7 days and then uses ducolax suppositories. He is very uncomfortable ...alternately sweats and chills. Is an enema called for here. I am at my wits end trying to help him.LXOF ## I take 40 mg of Lasix a day and it makes me constpated.
