can you take .50 klonopin then 1 mg xanax half hour later.... ## It is generally not recommended to double up like that, since these are both Benzodiazepines and taking them too close together could result in a possible overdose. They both depress the central nervous system, which could result in serious health problems, or death. Normal side effects to these medications can include: nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Has your doctor instructed you to use them both?

WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THE DRUG.I HAVE A FAMILY MEMBER THAT IS ABUSING THEM.WHAT ARE THEY USED FOR ANDTHE DANGERS. ## The name is often misunderstood, but the correct name is Klonopin, it contains the active ingredient Clonazepam. It is a Benzodiazepine, so it's in the same class as Xanax. They are normally used to treat conditions like anxiety and nervous disorders. These medications are controlled substances, because there are known to be habit forming. The primary danger of abusing it is overdose, because these medications cause central nervous system depression, so too high of a dosage could result in respiratory or cardiac arrest. However, if they have been abusing them, then stopping abruptly can also be dangerous, because sudden withdrawal could cause seizures. They need to ...

338 one side and trek on the other? ## Okay, I have searched for any possible information on this over several days now and I cannot find anything listing a TREK imprint of any type. I even tried pills with the TEC marking and cannot find any with 338 on them. Do have any idea as to the country of origin? That may help me to discover what it is.
Any mood altering meds should be tapered off slowly. Talk to your doctor to see how you should slowly adjust your dosage. Check your meds to see if they are benzodiazapines, like Xanax, Ativan, Klonopin, Clonazapam etc (they have different names for the brand vs the generic, so check your meds to see what types they are.) They drugs can be addictive and do cause serious withdrawal symptoms. I had seizures when I quit Xanax cold turkey. I am now on Ativan, but a low dose that I only take when I REALLY need it to help with panic attacks and panic related sleeplessness. The more you take these meds, the less they work and the more problems they cause when you stop taking them. I used to only sleep an hour or so a night despite the sleeping pills I was on and the xanax. If you can get on an...

I started at this new dr.'s office and je wil not up my dose from 1mg. Klopin and only gives me 45 of them, I told him it's nt holing me so he ups something else. ## I am not sure that anyone can help you, since you didn't post what area you are in. What medication did he adjust, instead of the Klonopin? You have to understand where you doctor is coming from. Klonopin is a Benzodiazepine and due to their addictive nature and how commonly abused they are, it is a controlled substance. This means that he has to account for every single prescription he writes for it, should the FDA or DEA ask questions. If they do not think he had a valid reason for writing the prescription or adjusting the dosage, he could face serious fines, sanctions and the loss of his medical license. Doct...
I started taking Klonopin for anxiety 3 months ago. I have had some hair loss and prickly tingling in the bottom of my legs. The Dr. just recently added Vyvanse for adult ADHD and raised my dose of Klonopin. Two days ago I started having pain in my knees and yesterday my left knee started swelling. I have have read all I have read all I can about both drugs and both say they can cause knee swelling. My question is which one is more likely to cause this. ## It is really difficult for us to say, especially without knowing your medical history. It may not even be caused by the medications, it could be some other condition entirely. Have you spoken to your doctor about it? They may wish to have you lower or discontinue one or the other, to try to rule them out, or run some tests to see if t...
I need to know how long klonapin stay in your system ## It can vary depending on how long you have been taking it and how high of a dose you were taking. Generally it has a very long half-life, 35 to 50hours, so it takes quite awhile to leave your body. The half-life is the amount of time it takes for the drug to reach 50% off its original level in your body. For it to be entirely worked out, you are looking at around 72+ hours. Like I said, it can vary depending on how much and how long you have been taking it, if you have been taking it for a long time and at high doses, then it will take even longer for your body to dispel it all. ## I have taken about 15 .5mg klonopin in 3 days. Will I have a clean urine on 11 days? If not, how can I cleanse it out? Please help me. ## Klonopin HAS A...
I've been on and off klonopin for 10 years for a chronic pain condition. I've been tapering from 2 milligrams down to .5 for a year now. Last week I started taking my does once a day a night instead of twice and 3 days later I got very sick. The weirdest part is I'm hearing squeaking in my hear when ever I talk. My body is burning terribly and alot of other symtoms such as twitching. I've been tapering with the .5 pills and the .125 wafers. How should I finish this taper? Do I need to go back up for a while? Or stay at this dose? I'm at my wits end and very scared. Should I do water titration? I tried switching to valium one and it didn't work but I didn't do the crossover as instructed I just switched all at once. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks ## I...
