Did you mean the white, oblong tablet with IP over 137 on one side and 800 on the other? If so, that 800mg Ibuprofen tablet is good for one year from the date it was dispensed to you by your pharmacy. After that time it begins to lose efficacy and you should dispose of it. Is there anything else I can help with?
I have tooth pain. I was taking 800-1000mg of ibuprofen q9h. After a few weeks, it stopped working. I started taking Tylenol (recommended dosage). It only dulls the pain. May I start the ibuprofen again? ## Hello, Erica! How are you doing? Sorry about the toothache! Have you consulted a dentist, yet? The main issue here is that if the problem causing the toothache isn't corrected, it's not going to go away. You said you've already had it for a few weeks, so something really needs to be done. If there is an infection, it is just going to continue to get worse, you'll need an antibiotic and corrective treatment.
I think this either ibuprofen or aspirin ## Hello, Speedy! How are you? The ones with the I-2 marking contain 200mgs of Ibuprofen. There are several different tablets with this marking and they all contain 200mg of Ibuprofen and are available over the counter. Is there anything else I can help with?

How are you? Well, if he's a teenager, please take under consideration why it may have been in his drawer. A friend may have dropped it, or he may have found it somewhere and not known what to do with it, or he may have thought if he came to you with it you might get angry and make accusations. Some parents do. So, please do give him the benefit of the doubt, rather than just freaking out. In 1994 I was in a car wreck that put me in a full body cast, broken femur, fx skull, on top of a history of abdominal surgeries from Hirschprungs. In 2000, a hernia repair surgery. in 2008, tumor removal. 2009, car wreck that resulted in no broken bones, but made my back and hip pain worse. Jan 2012, tumor removal. Nov 2012, c Section that resulted in torn bladder from exessive scar tissue in the abdomen. During most of these things I was on a pain medicine ranging from Ibuprofen to Lortabs. After my bladder repair from the c section I was on a combination of Morophone injections and Percocets. Pain medication was stopped in January 2013. To this day, I have chronic pain. My back, my hips, my hand, my feet. My insides! Everything is in pain. I have done PT, electrotherapy, chiropractic...
I just started takin amox for ear infection and they gave me hydroco 5-325mg but it wont take the pain away I waz wondering can I take ibuprofen. Is that a big nono???? ## Yes, you can take 800mg of Ibuprofen every 8 hours. I wouldnt take any more than that, it can be rough on the stomach. Take with a full stomach of food. I've had severe tooth pain from an abcess, and Ibuprofen worked better than the Tylenol3 with Codeine the dentist gave me. ## I totally agree with Leo. I was prescribed Tylenol 3 with Codeine post surgery, but the Codeine gave me such a bad headache that I ended up taking Advil for pain relief and it worked well for me.

I used this cream for an allergic reaction to an antibiotic a few months ago at the suggestion of a pharmacist. (I livein Mexico). Now I have an allergic reaction to Ibuprofen that looks the same - red blotches on my face and chest. Will it work for this, too? ## Hi Lilly, Based on my research, Clotrimazole/betamethasone cream can be used to relieve redness, itching, and swelling due to infection. It is a combination of an anti fungal and corticosteroid- which can help to reduce inflammation and help prevent the release of symptom-causing chemicals due to an allergic reaction. Antibiotics are very strong in relation to Ibuprofen, therefore, if this cream worked for a reaction you had to an antibiotic I imagine that it could also help you with the allergic reaction that Ibuprofen caused....
Taking 800 mg plus two flexerill is that dangerous? ## Did you mean to say 44 291? I haven't found any pills that match 44 29, but "44 291" happens to be a round brown pill as well; that is identified as Ibuprofen 200 mg. In any case, Flexeril (Cyclobenzaprine Hcl) does not list any drug interactions with Ibuprofen, so you shouldn't have any problems taking the two together; unless your doctor tells you otherwise for some reason or another. I hope this info helps! :)
