Ibuprofen Stopped Working
UpdatedI have tooth pain. I was taking 800-1000mg of ibuprofen q9h. After a few weeks, it stopped working. I started taking Tylenol (recommended dosage). It only dulls the pain. May I start the ibuprofen again?

Hello, Erica! How are you doing? Sorry about the toothache!
Have you consulted a dentist, yet? The main issue here is that if the problem causing the toothache isn't corrected, it's not going to go away. You said you've already had it for a few weeks, so something really needs to be done.
If there is an infection, it is just going to continue to get worse, you'll need an antibiotic and corrective treatment.
