I Need A Doctor Who Prescribes Suboxone And Accepts Medicaid In Or Around Charlotte, Nc

Updated

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!! CAN SOMEONE/ANYONE THAT LIVES IN OR WITHIN A 20 MILE RADIUS OF CHARLOTTE, NC HELP ME PLEASE TO FIND A DOCTOR WHO CAN PRESCRIBE SUBOXONE THAT ACCEPTS MEDICAID AND IS ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS AT THIS TIME!!! I AM HAVING A VERY HARD TIME FINDING A NEW DOCTOR THAT ACCEPTS MEDICAID AND THAT IS ACTUALLY ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS AS WELL. IF YOU WANT TO READ A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MY PERSONAL SITUATION, FEEL FREE TO CONTINUE READING PLEASE, I JUST NEED A NEW DOCTOR.

I have been prescribed 24 mg. of Suboxone for a little over 3 years now, and I have just been dismissed from my Suboxone Doctor whom I have been seeing since April of this year (2014) for having THC in my U/A that was having to submit to every month that I saw this particular doctor. The doctor I was seeing before this doctor (The doctor that started me on the Suboxone over 3 years ago, almost 4 years now), dismissed me as well for "NO GOOD REASON AT ALL". The reason I capitalized that remark is because, his reasoning for my dismissal was a "PERSONALITY CONFLICT". If anyone could tell me what that means coming from a doctor who is treating you for a Substance Abuse Issue, as well as Chronic Back Pain and Stomach Issues, even though he prescribed me a lot more than I or any one human would ever need to take at one time let alone everyday for nearly 3 years. I am beginning to get off subject, but I guess my question is just the same as the title states, which is I need a Doctor who can prescribe Suboxone, as well as Xanax, Soma, Adderall, Effexor XR, and Phenergan when needed. These are the dosages' and mgs. of medications that I have been on for almost 4 years now. I have been on 24 mg=3 strips per day of Suboxone, 8mg=4 tablets of Xanax per day as needed for anxiety and overall restlessness. I am not even sure how many mgs this adds up to be as far as the Somas' go, but I have been prescribed 3 tablets a day and they are 350 mg a piece or something in that neighborhood, (90 a month), Effexor XR 75 mgs=1 capsule twice a day, 25 mg= 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours if and as needed for IBS and Acute Gastritis, and 80 mgs= 2 20 mg. tablets twice a day of Adderall for my ADD. Can anyone help me to find a doctor in or around the Charlotte, NC area that will prescribe me those same meds as well as have a good bedside manner, and not treat me like a number or an addict, because I didn't get addicted to Pain Pills by myself "Doctors' themselves helped me out a whole lot with my addiction and I am freaking out right about now, because if I run out of the Xanax then I have seizures, and if I run out of the Suboxone (which has happened to me in the past, because some people ya just can't trust around your meds!!!) then I get very (DOPE SICK), and for a person who is also Hypoglycemic, which basically means if and when my sugar drops too low too fast then I have a seizure as well. (Not to mention how horrible you feel when you are trying to come off of Suboxone and/or Xanax Cold Turkey), which some people say that it doesn't effect them coming off of medications such as these, however and unfortunately for me, I am not one of those people. The seizures are bad ones when I have them, and the last few times that I have had one, the difference in how much worse they're getting is unbelievably scary as hell y'all. With all the seizures that I have had since the very first one (which was in 2003 are ones that I black out, then fall out and am out of it for at least an hour or so, I hate them and they are scary as hell, and I am scared to death to have anymore. Another reason I hate them, besides all of the other reasons' I have for for hating them, is because I have had so many over the years that I can actually tell that they have effected my brain and mental abilities in a very bad way. I am definitely a lot more slow in my way of thinking since I have had them. I am 35 years old now, but some days (and more than not) I feel as if my brain and physical shape is that of a not very physically healthy elderly woman, and not that of a 35 year old (still fairly young woman) that I should feel like.) It sucks all the way around, and I don't wish addiction and/or seizures on my worst enemy! If you read everything that I wrote and want to reply back to me, please feel free to do so. I would love to know if there is anyone out there in my particular situation, or close to it, and also CAN SOMEONE NEAR OR AROUND CHARLOTTE, NC PLEASE GIVE ME A GOOD DOCTOR TO CALL FOR ALL OF MY ISSUES OR JUST A SUBOXONE DOCTOR WILL BE GEAT TOO!!!! I CAN BEGIN TO SEE A PSYCHIATRIST FOR ALL OF MY PSYCH MEDS. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE TO WHOMEVER MIGHT BE ABLE TO HELP ME OUT WITH THE PREDICAMENT THAT I AM IN RIGHT NOW. Just so whoever reads all of this or if anyone reads this in it's entirety, please know how serious of a situation I am in right about now. I have a beautiful, adorable, and precious little boy whom I stay at home with everyday as I do not work outside of the home, and I just can't stop taking any of these meds cold turkey anyways, because of the seizures and the severity of the horrible side effects that come along with these two medications especially, aka (the Suboxone and the Xanax.) Thanks in advance again for anyone who can help me to find a new Suboxone doctor in or around my part of the world.

Sincerely,

Mizzunderstood35

If you haven't found a suboxone doctor that accepts Medicaid yet, then here are a couple to try... Dr. Neal Taub in Charlotte or Dr. Bremnor in Mooresville. Both accept Medicaid, and I'm quite sure the one in Mooresville has room for new patients (and hopefully the one in Charlotte does too). I have been a patient at both offices, so if you have any questions or anything please let me know.
I wish you all the best!!

I find it ethically horrible that your doctor simply stopped prescribing you the suboxone. If what you are saying is true. .. They should rather have brought you in for a conversation about the thc in your system, and come up with a good plan to prevent you from it in the future. They should have looked into why you used the marijuana. Perhaps your pain is worse, perhaps you are going through something else. If you have been prescribed suboxone for three years without you violating the rules of no other drugs, then there should not be reason enough to cut you off. Even more importantly the fact that you've been on 24mgs per day. That is one very high dose. I myself is on 24mgs too, of subutex. You cannot be left without that dose suddenly. It is highly dangerous to stop taking such a heavy dose of one of the strongest opioids there is. You could get violently sick and get seizures even worse than the ones you already have. A doctor should know that. It is very dangerous to stop like that. You must taper down slowly over a long period of time. That doctor should not have a licence to practice medicine. It's almost attempted murder to cut someone off from such a high dosage. Call some authorities. Call the boss of the clinic. Do what you have to do to make sure you get your medication back quickly.

I'm looking for a doctor in Oklahoma City or norman area who can help me kick the pain pills. They want you to kick the habit or don't want doctors giving it to you but then they don't want to provide you with information to help.

I feel bad for your situation and I'm sorry your left without a suboxone Dr. However I don't think the ones treating you with all this med have your best interest in mind. I know they start you off slowly then before you know it tippy have a list like this of drugs. Find a facility that will help you to drop some of those meds or at least reduce them. Your body can't take that much med forever. That's my opinion and I say it with respect,I too have been there. Maybe not as much med but just as desperate. Good luck to you
