I have had 4 steroid injections for sciatic back pain with no relief. I have tried acupuncture to no avail and am now trying the Hydrocodone but am concerned it may be addictive. I have taken 4-5 10/325 for awhile, prescribed, although the prescription is old, 3 months. How long should this be in my system for a urine test? I am heading back to my 'back' doctor to discuss pain management, but would like to know how long these will stay in my system if I stop taking them? Thanks QF99

I am taking two tablets 5 325mg vicodin, my wife takes 6 tablets 10 325 vicodin ( both Norcos I assume). Will they show up as the same in a random urine test that the doctor will probably give me coming up to see if I am taking my pills. We at times share when one is out and pay back when one gets theirs. I found some pills in my son's book bag he said they are hydrocodone 10325 however they have the inscription U03 on them. How long after stopping the use of 5 325 can I resume driving? ## It really isn't even that you can't drive while taking it, it's just that you have to be very careful and gauge how badly it affects you, if the medication makes you severely dizzy, drowsy and slows your reaction times, then you should stay away from driving. However, if it doesn't affect you that badly, then there is no need to completely avoid driving, just be careful when you do. I recently was on 7.5 325 T and doc just switched me to 5-325-TB. What is the difference between the two? As in what amount of aspirin/Tylenol, does the amount in prescription strength, above mean? Like 7.5 to the 5, & the amount that didn't change 325? I have severe lower back pain, after standing or walking for several hours, as well as after strenuous work around the house, bending stooping, etc., & an MRI showed spinal stenosis. My story isn't much different from much different from other pain situations I see on here. I Had an amazing family doctor by my area in south Sacramemto, California and he retired the 1st of January 2015. I'm trying to find a old fashioned, liberal, understanding doctor that I can make an appointment with to discuss my story and hopefully bring my quality of life back to par. Have been on hydrocodone 10 mg by 325 Ace 10/325 for almost 11 years and saw a great nurse practitioner I was referred too. She moved clinics and I'm now seeking a doctor in or around greater Sacramento, California that will listen to my story, not treat me as a drug addict or drug seeker and ultimately, find a New Primary Care doctor or practicing clinic.
