I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, carpet tunnel in both wrists,3 herniated discs, 2 bulging discs and 3 fuses discs in my neck among a few problems. This is horrible - between this & the Qualitest bad pills that made me sick last month along with NO pain relief my Dr. is saying he is going out on a limb for me - no one is going out on a limb - we are simply standing up and stating obvious fraudulent pills being sold as pain relief when there is NONE. This is so horrible to live in pain and be afraid to call your Dr. again and tell them this has happened again now with a different brand that previoulsy worked before they "took out the yellow dye". My reuhmatologist does not want to prescribe hydrocodone anymore. I have severe pain from Lupus and arthritis. She has had me on this medication for 12 years. I have never, abused it, Now she decides she is afraid to write it with the new laws. She also treats my son who has fibromyalgia, epilepsy, which he dislocated his shoulder when he fell, during a grand Mal seizure, he has severe migraines and has tried every medication, even Botox, injections, and has discs problems in his neck because of his Down syndrome, which gives him terrible neck pain. After being patients for many years, she started us on their medications, she doesn't want to write them any more. ## You and your son need to see a Pain Management Dr. You will also need a copy of your medical records.

Does ucb still make lortab 10mg pills? ## Hello, Betsy! How are you? No, the ones that contained 500mgs of Acetaminophen are no longer available. All of these combination medications that contain a narcotic and Acetaminophen have been lowered to only contain a maximum of 352mgs per dose and any that contained more than that have been discontinued. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I found a white oval pill with blus specks and no markings
Which is stronger??id like to know before I take one ## Hello, Kathy! How are you? Watson Pharmaceuticals lists the one with the 853 marking as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, while they list the one with the 3203 on it as containing 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. I've been searching on Google for answers and was wondering if you or anyone else knows if they contain sulfites. I get allergic reactions to sulfites and I know these could have them in the inactive ingredients. Thx. ## @Dash, The yellow one's with a V 36 01 are made by Qualitest (formerly Vintage Pharmaceuticals). From what I've heard, these yellow ones are thought to be o...
I am not able to get the old yellow colored Hydrocodones anymore from my local pharmacy. Does anyone know if they still produce them and where in the Leavenworth, Kansas area or surrounding area, I can fill my script and get them. The white ones do not come close to managing my pain....Thank you for any help!!!
UpdatedIs there really a difference between Watson, boca pharm, qualitest since it's hydrocodone and acetaminophen? If so why would one work Breyer or worse? ## Hello, Dodger! How are you? Yes, there can be differences. Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics are allowed to differ from the name brand by as much as plus or minus 20% of the active ingredients. They also don't have to measure against each other, just the original name brand. Thus, one generic may be slightly higher in the amount of the active ingredients, while another may be exactly on track and yet another could be slightly low. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and cons...
Are 10 year old watson 385 pills safe to take if they were stored in a drawer ## Should be, u wouldn't be located in AZ? ## I'm in AZ and just trying to find a pharmacy in 85044 zip code that still carries the white 7.5 Watson 387 today???? ## Hello, Dean! How are you? After 10 years, they will no longer be effective and you should just dispose of them. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. And Nik, I'm sorry, but those are no longer being manufactured. As of the beginning of this year, all combination prescription medications that contained more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen, per dose, were removed from the U.S. market. Is there anything else I c...
What are the orange specks for in the pills? ## Hello, Babs! How are you? These tablets are manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals and they list them as containing 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. And the orange specks don't mean anything, they are just a way to make their tablets look different from the others that are available. Is there anything else I can help with?
I understand that different manufacturers can actually use different amounts of the various ingredients in a particular medication. Is there any way to find how exactly what each manufacturer uses in their pill? ## Hello, Jerry! How are you? No, there is not. As long as they fall within the acceptable limits of plus or minus 20% of the active ingredients as compared to the name brand, they are considered therapeutically equivalent. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I'm not needing to take Hydrocodone/chlorpheniramine cough syrup at the moment. Can I store the bottle in the refrigerator just in case I may need it? Thank you. ## Hello, Don! How are you? Only until the expiration date. Liquids tend to degrade faster than other forms, so you can't really extend its shelf life. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Why would the v be upside down on the pill if the bottle marks it v / 3601, it should match the bottle right ## Hello, Emily! How are you? There is no specific way the V has to face, it just depends on how the tablets were sitting in the pressing machine. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. COUGH ## none ## Sorry, since this is not available in the U.S. finding information on it is difficult. Other countries just do not regulate their drugs and require as much information to be available to the consumer as the U.S. FDA does. I suggest asking your doctor or pharmacist for more information. ## Butamirate is an antitussic (cough suppressant) agent. Unlike Codein, Hydrocodone, Pholcodin and the likes it is not an opioid and has no sedating or constipating side effects. It's also very safe to use in children. Why it's not being used in UK, US, AU etc. is beyond me. It's very popular in continental Europe. Adverse effects are mild and rare and include nausea, skin rash and vertigo. ## Hi, Good day. I would like to know if what is the right dosage of this drug per day...
I took 7.25/325 of hydrocodone every 4-6 hrs for pain and after 9 yrs of treatment under a Doctor's care alone with spinal injections every 3 months for 9 yrs. At 45 yrs old going on 46 yrs old I will now have to get surgery it is looking like as things are much worse and only surgery can help me, but the Doctor wanted to wait as long as I could before going under the knife. My question is, if I was put on Morphine 15 what would I have to take that would even be close to what I was originally on (hydrocodone)? I mean I have been told Morphine won't help me at all and I will be in a lot of pain after surgery. ## Hello, Lisa! How are you? No, you should be fine, Morphine and Hydrocodone are equivalent on a 1 to 1 ratio, so 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone equals 7.5mgs of Morphine. The FDA w...
I had two glasses of wine the last one about 2hrs ago. How long should I wait before taking a hydrocodone ## Hello, Allen! How are you? Since the are both depressants, it can be dangerous to mix alcohol, while taking opiates. It would be best to wait a full 24 hours, before taking your medication, unless your doctor instructs otherwise. You're usually instructed not to drink at all, while taking this class of medications. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I wrote asking if it was a regular release pill. It took me several times writing to them to get a kind of answer.... they said it was not extended release but they didnt know much about the pills as far as breaking, chewing and crushing. I asked them because i have dysphagia and cant swallow that big pill. I asked why they wouldnt recommend breaking or chewing this pill and they said they just didnt have that info. If they dont, who does? They abosulutely baffled me with their inability to give a clear and firm answer. i have been breaking them into quarters so i can swallow them easier. I get a headache but that seems to be all. ## Hello, Neko! How are you?
