Oval Pill U16 On It, Manufacturer Says.....

I wrote asking if it was a regular release pill. It took me several times writing to them to get a kind of answer.... they said it was not extended release but they didnt know much about the pills as far as breaking, chewing and crushing. I asked them because i have dysphagia and cant swallow that big pill. I asked why they wouldnt recommend breaking or chewing this pill and they said they just didnt have that info. If they dont, who does? They abosulutely baffled me with their inability to give a clear and firm answer.

i have been breaking them into quarters so i can swallow them easier. I get a headache but that seems to be all.

This tablet is manufactured by Aurolife Pharma and they list it as containing 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

And yes, you can cut or break them, as long as your doctor approves.
